The room was spotless, one of the cleanest we’ve stayed in, and it was clear that great care is taken to maintain high standards. We also really appreciated the free laundry service, which was incredibly helpful during our travels. The location is perfect—just a short walking distance to the west entrance of the Danxia park, making it easy to explore. Right across the hotel is a fantastic restaurant, so finding great food was effortless. To top it all off, the owner even prepared thoughtful departing gifts for us, which was such a warm and memorable touch. His kindness and attentiveness truly set this place apart. If you’re visiting the area, this hotel is an outstanding choice."

"Perfect location for visiting the Rainbow Mountains, with the western entrance in walking distance. The exceptionally friendly reception also recommended scenic spots in the area, and we were able to borrow traditional clothing for our photo shoot free of charge. The overnight stay in a heated yurt was very comfortable, with shower and toilet facilities within easy reach. The breakfast was excellent and varied; even our demanding children gave it two thumbs up."

"It was my first time to travel to the Northwest, and for the first time I intuitively felt the simplicity, enthusiasm and hospitality of the Northwest. I booked two rooms. They were clean, tidy and neat, and the whole family liked them very much. The location is very close to Danxia Scenic Area and surrounding attractions. The boss has made the courtyard very warm and has done a good job with the details. For example, the paper cups in the room are specially plastic-sealed. This is the first time I have seen paper cups individually plastic-sealed. If we were not pressed for time, we would really have to stay and play for two more days."

"This hotel was by far the best one during our Qinghai-Gansu Grand Loop trip – absolutely recommend it! The hotel was fantastic and offered superb value for money. The owner was incredibly welcoming; he came out immediately to help with our luggage and showed us to our room as soon as we pulled up. The facilities were brand new, the place was spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable – it felt like it had a latex topper. The duvet was also just the right thickness. Honestly, we couldn't find a single thing to complain about. Upon check-out, the owner even gave our child a lovely Colorful Danxia fridge magnet as a souvenir. Downstairs, there were plenty of eateries and a well-stocked supermarket, and its proximity to the scenic area made it incredibly convenient. Wishing the owner great success in their business!"

"Shanjian Mercure Smart Hotel was a pleasant surprise for us in Zhangye. The hotel is in a very good location, only a few hundred meters away from the north gate of the Colorful Danxia Scenic Area, and the scenic area can be reached on foot. The most important thing is that the hotel is very clean and hygienic, the rooms are spacious and bright, and all kinds of supplies are complete, and there is smart voice control. "This stay experience is full! The overall decoration of the hotel is high-end atmosphere, and the lobby is clean and elegant. The check-in efficiency at the front desk is very high, the staff is gentle, and the needs can be responded in time. The room has good lighting, the hygiene is particularly in place, no smell, no dead ends, and the quality of toiletries is also very good. The mattress is moderately hard and soft, and sleeping is particularly relaxing. "I was pleasantly surprised by the accommodation experience. I booked a parent-child room. The room is very clean and the surrounding is very quiet. It is only one or two kilometers away from the scenic spot. The boss is very enthusiastic and sincere. He introduced the surrounding restaurants to us, and even picked cucumbers grown by himself. "Very clean & excellent service. Even though the staff couldn’t speak fluent English, use of translator app was used & then went of their way to ensure that my stay was extremely comfortable. Attractions not mentioned in Trip.com was suggested & I must say I enjoyed their recommendations. The only downside side was these attractions are catered for the local Chinese population so no English version. Having said that it was an enjoyable & very hectic two days in Linze. Would recommend but with the caveat that travellers should have their translator app handy to communicate with staff & local public."
