"Best hotel I've ever stayed at in my life! Don't hesitate for a second! How can I put it, everything is perfect! I've stayed there twice: the first time in a triple room, which was superb, and the second time in an economy room (the cheapest). The bed wasn't super comfortable, but I just opened the door and I was at the pool. It's not a huge hotel, so it's never overbooked! But there are enough people to create a nice atmosphere. The restaurant is really, really good; I highly recommend the 'pad kra pao' with pork! The staff are incredibly kind! You can even rent scooters at the front desk, and the owner provides information on absolutely all possible activities to do on the island. He'll book everything for you, whether it's taxis, activities, ferries, festivals, Muay Thai fights, and most importantly, he doesn't rip you off at all on prices. We checked online every time, and there were zero scams. They are truly darlings! What more can I say about the pool? It's magnificent, with breathtaking sunset views, and with the beach right in front, you can borrow paddles and kayaks for free. The ONLY drawback of this hotel is that it's not in the city center, but there's not really much point in going to the city center anyway. Just go to the festivals for fun and stay at the hotel the rest of the time. And if you do want to go to the city center or visit other beaches, you can rent scooters."

"Stayed in a hillside suite, lovely room and fantastic views. Staff were very friendly always helping with bags and there was a buggy to take up to our room. I rented a bike so got to hotel easy if not it is a little walk to the main area. There is a free shuttle to Sairee beach which is great and also a free shuttle to pier to get a ferry when leaving.
The only negative is the pool was quite small and for the price and also would like a gym on site but of course booked knowing there wasn’t a gym so can’t be negative on that!
Overall a great stay and would recommend.

"I was very excited to stay at this hotel. The room had a wonderful atmosphere, and I was fortunate to receive a room with a high ceiling, which made the space feel even more spacious and airy. The room was also very clean. The only downside was that after spending some time in the room or using the bathroom, a strong sewage odor began to come from the drain. Even with the toilet lid closed, the smell was still quite unpleasant.
In terms of transportation, everything was very convenient. You can contact the lobby to arrange transfers around Koh Phangan (for an additional fee). Guests can also access the swimming pool and certain services at other hotels within the same group (additional charges may apply), which makes getting around easier and adds more activities to enjoy.
As for the breakfast buffet, there was a wide variety of options available. However, most of the dishes were quite cold, likely because they had been left out for some time. Only the egg station served freshly cooked and warm food."

"When we arrived they couldn’t find us in the system, they said their system had a problem, the room we had was booked already and the only solution was to downgrade us for a night. We saw there was still some bungalows available but they only wanted to put us in a standard room. No compensation offered! NOTHING, no breakfast no money NOTHING. Even when we asked for it the only solution they gave us was “we can cancel for you and you will be reimbursed” and then what I sleep on the street?? I had to contact trip.com and then we got a “compensation” of 200 baht LOL.
Beside for the service the bungalows we had after was nice. Don’t book the standards rooms they smell."

"A lovely hotel with very friendly and welcoming staff. Its location is great, being very close to the pier, though I personally preferred other areas.
The highlights were definitely the beautiful pool and the quiet beach behind the property—both were perfect for relaxation.
A couple of things could be improved: the cleanliness of the room wasn't quite up to standard, and there were a lot of mosquitoes. For the price, I felt it was a bit on the high side for what was offered.
In a nutshell: Great for the pool and beach, but mind the value and bring mosquito repellent"

"This hotel is truly European standard with top-notch service. The staff are absolutely amazing, always smiling and making sure you're comfortable in every way. We stayed in a designer room with lounge access. The room was incredibly beautiful and comfortable, and the beds and pillows were a dream for the best sleep. The hotel is located right on the beach, close to all the bars and nightlife, yet it's surprisingly quiet. Breakfasts were beyond excellent. We'll really miss this hotel, the friendly smiles, and the incredible views. It's not a cheap hotel, but it's definitely worth every penny.
A few minor downsides: we didn't really see the point of the lounge. Cocktails and good quality spirits were only available from 5 PM to 7 PM.
The shower had poor drainage, so we had to wait for the water to go down.
We also didn't quite understand why we weren't allowed to check out at 2 PM, especially since our booking confirmation mentioned this option, and the hotel seemed half-empty, with us being the only ones in the lounge most of the time.
But these are all minor points compared to the wonderful experience we had."

"Loved it. This is a travellers spot. Not too fancy, but for us it was cheap, by the sea, with a balcony & sea view. The staff are lovely and we had a pleasant breakfast. There is a small beach on the door step which is clean & great for watching the sunset. The other beach takes 5 minutes to reach on foot which is one of the most beautiful beaches that I have experienced."

"I want to leave a review about this hotel. The location is good; the only downside is the loud music in the evening and late into the night coming from the central beach.
The room has all the necessary toiletries, including earplugs and razors. The bungalow-style rooms are the best thing here, because overall there are significantly more negatives.
The service is not very good — the staff at the reception and in the restaurant seem indifferent. The beach is a bit dirty, with a lot of small stones that make it uncomfortable to walk. The sea is very shallow, and you have to walk quite far to get deep enough to swim. If you just want to lie around and relax like a hippo, it might suit you.
The food in the restaurant is of a low standard. The room costs almost $190 per night, but the variety of food is very limited, and the products don’t seem to be of good quality. Cheese at breakfast was even served in its packaging.
The only thing that really saves this hotel is the view from the room. We chose an ocean view. The hotel also offers free snorkeling masks."

"Nice bungalow near the beach. It takes about 45 minutes to walk to Haad Rin (ful moon perty), but the road is uphill and difficult. Take a tuk-tuk, 100 baht per person.
The air conditioner didn't work. On the same day they called a repairman and fixed it. Our bungalow did not have a refrigerator. When we asked to put our food in the refrigerator at the reception, we were refused."

GGuest UserA wonderful place for recreation 🫶 lived 2 families from 25 to 30 December in the smallest villa, all this time with us were wonderful Steve and Muhammad. Steve took us all over the island wherever we wanted and took us from anywhere, thank you Steve 🙏Muhammed also took care that our rest was careless, helped to organize the washing, Organized us a tour to the sea 🙏ville clean every day, there is everything necessary for cooking food (we did not prepare TK on the sairi a lot of delicious cafes). I definitely recommend this place for rest, very atmospheric and comfortable, in the surrounding jungle ❤️

The room are spacious and clean but the main issue of this hotel is most of the room apart from the beach front which are under renovation, are absolutely not isolated. You can see from your room and the mini pool the staff', Clients, dogs cats etc passing by.
No real beach front unfortunately. Nice sunset
So definitely not worth the price. I think better quality for the price in koh phangan
Also went to the spa ”l 'occitane” and I do think it is really a joke. Small room with only some occitane products to sell. That 's was surprising...

YYaelWe had an amazing time there. I really have nothing bad to say about it.
First of all- the stuff. Always welcoming you with a smile and treating you with a personal attention. for example we told them we’re going to the beach and they offered us to borrow snorkeling masks for free. Also I got hurt in my leg and they really helped me to bandage it. The most appreciated thing is that they heard our ferry back is at noon so they offered us late check out for free!
Beside that, the room is very clean, the view to the beach from the balcony is a big wow. the coffee at breakfast is just perfect.
Thank you so much guys ♥️♥️♥️ hope to come back someday.

GGuest UserThe hotel matches the description: a cozy bay, good service, tasty breakfast, and a great location close to nature.
We came mainly for snorkeling, but during these two days there were small waves and poor visibility — something impossible to predict. The forest bungalows with one bathroom shared between two rooms are tiny. We booked both rooms since there were three of us, and that worked fine, but sharing the bungalow with strangers would be questionable.
Soundproofing in the bungalows is weak. We could hear a lot at night — frogs and other wildlife were singing all night long. Bring earplugs if you need silence.
Breakfast was delicious, although some items listed on the menu were not available. Dinner in the evening was also quite good.
The transfer picked us up from the pier and brought us safely to the hotel. We used the same transfer on the way back, but it was paid — the hotel offers one free ride.
On the beach, there are indeed very few sun loungers and chairs for all guests. There are a couple of nice cafes on the beach for variety, but during the day many tourists come and it can be hard to find a place to sit.
Overall, we had a great two-day stay.

SSvtloveartWe arrived with three friends and booked a deluxe room, but another person joined us mid-stay. Upon check-in, they asked for everyone's passports (and made copies), refused to upgrade our room, and also refused to allow all four of us to share the same room. But our friend was lucky; there was one standard room available, so we booked it. Excellent hotel. Breakfast is buffet style, with vouchers, and there are cakes and a variety of desserts. We really enjoyed it.

AAnonymous UserA wonderful beach hotel! The grounds aren't huge, but they're very green and well-maintained. The bungalows are super cozy and charming. From any bungalow, it's no more than a 1-minute walk to the beach. There's a restaurant on-site serving both European and Thai cuisine. For breakfast, I even found oatmeal with mango! The beach is beautiful and long enough for a nice stroll. The sand is incredibly soft and fine. It does get a bit shallow at low tide. There's a Seven-Eleven about a 7-minute walk from the hotel along the main road.

GGuest UserGreat stay, all of the staff were hard working, and friendly but Catalina, Moe and Aaron were exceptional and a credit to the team. Good location, comfortable room,big pool, plenty of beds, direct access to the beach, fabulous sunsets snd a short walk to Haadrin Walking Street, restaurants and its beach. The only negative was that smoking was permitted around the pool, it would’ve been a more pleasant experience if there were smoking and none smoking areas and it was enforced by staff.

GGuest UserI would not recommend staying at Sairee Hut Resort.
The place is extremely run down. Our room had no hot water, the shower drain was clogged and overflowing, and mosquitoes filled the room, making it uncomfortable to sleep.
However, what bothered me most was the resort’s treatment of animals. They keep wild birds confined in small cages out front, with barely any room to move, let alone fly. I’m not sure if this is cultural or meant for tourist entertainment since the birds can talk, but whatever the reason, it is cruel! Birds are meant to be free, not locked in cages for display. These birds were kept in the cages for the entire duration of our stay, and I can only imagine how long they’ve been trapped there.
Overall, this resort was disappointing, both in its facilities and ethics. I would not stay here again.

Hotel has classes to attend if guests want.Free kayak n standup paddle board fr 1 hr n snorkel mark fr rent. Bf has varied selection,has all u needed. What put us off fr entire stay was the smell of waste water or sewage.When we step into our room building we can smell it right away, n when we r in our room as well,forget about sitting on the balcony to enjoy the beach view outside coz we cant sit longer than 20 mins due to the strong ugly smell. We didnt ask to change our room coz we thought that even the whole floor is so smelly like thid then it wouldn’t make any difference to get on higher floor unless we changed our room type to diff building. So we ended up our 3 nights here without any impression aside frm the lovely beach their located. I saw some guests mentioned about this problem but i didnt think it would b this ugly.

MMVCarvalhoThe place is very beatiful with amazing view, but for 4 stars hotel they need to make improvements in general, service, food and facilities.
The hotel is too far from the center about 40 min by car, and the hotel doesn’t provide any shuttle for free, if you want to go to the city for any reason you have to pay.
Breakfast: there is variety of food but I’m my opinion it’s not a good quality, I was expecting more.
Facilities: swimming pool and sun beds is ok, they provide one kind of fabric but isn’t towel.
Room: my room was beatiful and clean, but so dark, bathroom the floor was a kind of tiles slippery and little bit, this is a kind of hazards.
