"Out of the 20+ hotels and guesthouses we stayed at during our month-long Chinese New Year road trip through Yunnan, this one was my absolute favorite! The courtyard and public areas are beautifully decorated, and our room offered direct, stunning views of Lugu Lake, perfect for countless photos. The breakfast, afternoon tea, and late-night snacks were also impeccable. But what truly stood out was the service from the entire staff. From the initial WeChat reminders before check-in to their meticulous care for every detail of our dining, accommodation, and sightseeing needs after we arrived, especially their unique complimentary shuttle service within a 3km radius – it was incredibly thoughtful! In short, our two days here felt as comfortable and free as being in our own home, with nothing to worry about. There was always a beautiful view and delicious food and drinks, making it so cozy we didn't want to leave! I really hope to come back again!"

There's also a bathtub in the room with a disposable tub liner. Plus, there's a mini washing machine, perfect for washing two jackets or 2-3 sets of underwear for enough people, and laundry detergent is included. Even though there's a big temperature difference in February, the air conditioning works great. "The location of the B&B is great. The terrace overlooks Lugu Lake, and on clear days, you can watch the sunrise. The two 2-meter-long beds were very comfortable. The front desk lady provided an itinerary based on our schedule, helped us buy boat tickets to see the water lilies, and even gave us souvenirs. It was a truly wonderful experience!"

Our room had a breathtaking view of Lugu Lake; we could open the window and see it, and it was just a short walk to the lakeside where we could even take a 'pig trough boat.' The owner is a local Mosuo person, very polite and hospitable. We also got to visit their unique grandmother's house. Getting to Mount Gemu Goddess was also very convenient, and we even asked the owner for travel tips. The cleanliness was exceptional, truly a five-star cleaning experience. There wasn't a speck of dust anywhere, the glass was sparkling clean without any fingerprints. The bathroom fixtures were TOTO brand, and the bedding was high-end and very comfortable! The breakfast was delicious and exquisite! The morning mist over Lugu Lake is truly beautiful! I highly recommend this place to everyone!

GGuest UserFacilities: Okay, quite smart. Cleanliness: The first day was okay, but on the second day there was a small bug by the bed 🐛. After the normal cleaning, the bathroom still had a lot of hair and hadn't been cleaned. Most importantly, the 8101 toilet smelled really bad. It's tolerable in winter, but those planning to stay in summer should avoid it. Environment: Two hotels (Guanshanhai and Luoyin) are owned by the same person, so the breakfast was the same. Compared to another hotel I stayed at in Lugu Lake, it was far inferior. The breakfast was quite average, comparable to a farmhouse breakfast. Service: A young lady in ethnic clothing provided excellent service. I carried my own luggage in and out. Afternoon tea was just the same cake, cookies, and a few candies as breakfast (you don't know until you compare, then you realize what real care is). GGuest UserI didn’t expect that the family suite was so convenient. Kids can stay on the loft, and parents are still within their sight thanks to the open space design. This is very unique and truly family friendly. The amenities are modern with built-in smart technologies. Buffet breakfast is a proper combination of carbs, proteins and fruits, and they taste good. The staffs are polite and helpful. One could tell the hotel is thoughtfully designed and carefully maintained. A big thumbs up for this hotel. Will definitely stay here again if we visit Lugu lake next time.

It's not far from the lake, and a short walk along the boardwalk gets you to Da Luoshui, making it super convenient for exploring. Perfect for those who want to take their time sightseeing. The room was very comfortable and quiet at night—not a peep of noise. The service was also very thoughtful; both check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient, with no delays. The only minor downside was that the outdoor lounge area got quite windy at night, making it a bit chilly to sit out for long in the evening. The temperature difference at Lugu Lake between day and night is no joke, so definitely bring a jacket! Other than that, the stay, environment, and facilities were all faultless.
