Another absolute gem in Yunnan. The price is relatively affordable and all you get for it is totally worth it. The views outward the hotel lobby is stunning and the decor of the interior is very cozy and fitting. You have a full view of the lake from the front unobstructed. Rooms have everything basic and more. Relatively spacious and decorated very extensively, cozy and comfortable setting and bed. Nice setup in the bathroom area and shower is spacious. Toilet with automated bidet is also nice. For those who like bathing there is a bath with mountainside views and bath salts/supplies given. The AI and automated curtains add a nice touch, though this one is more primitive than xiaodu. Staff were very kind and helpful，offered to drop me off at the bus stop and served dessert at night.

I rarely write reviews, but Cieman definitely left a deep impression on me. We booked a room on the 3rd floor for 3 days, and opening the window revealed a full lake view. The facilities were complete, and the breakfast and afternoon tea each day were very rich. The hotel's small activities were also interesting, like the bonfire party and butter tea experience, both of which were great. What's most worth mentioning is the service; they communicated breakfast content in advance every day, and our exclusive group arranged travel needs promptly, even coming down to pick us up at the bottom of the hotel slope. The recommended private car and boat services were also excellent. Three days here truly cleansed my soul; I'll definitely come again if I have the chance!

This hotel left an extremely strong impression on my family! For the price point, the location and view from our room was amazing. The view is unblocked, and we had a nice walk by the lake. There is a cafe beside the hotel which served nice drinks and food. The view from the cafe was excellent, and we would highly recommend paying a visit there! The room had a nice, cozy feeling and a spacious balcony. There aren't many restaurants in this particular town, but the main town is about a 15 minute walk or 2 minute drive from the hotel. However, the hotel is able to provide dinner! They have a several options to choose from like noodles and hotpot, and the prices are extremely affordable! The hotpot was really delicious as well, and the breakfast was scrumptious! In the morning, there will be dew above the waters of the lake, and the view is simply stunning. Overall, we had a really great experience here thanks to the helpful and friendly staff!

The room was very clean and tidy, just had a slight renovation smell, which aired out quickly. That minor issue aside, it was incredibly economical and great value for money. Just a few steps from the room and you're at Lugu Lake, so the location and views are fantastic. The owner was also wonderful, helping us find a very reliable driver for our Lugu Lake tour. He drove steadily on the mountain roads and was very familiar with all the scenic spots and photo opportunities around the lake.

The tranquil blue hues of the lake in winter are like a dynamic painting. The room design is clever and well-arranged, and the screened windows ensure a perfect balance of ventilation and comfort, with no stuffiness at all. The complimentary room upgrade upon check-in was already a pleasant surprise. Even more remarkable was the staff's enthusiastic and attentive service, constantly going up and down to serve me, whether I was on the room's balcony or enjoying the lavish afternoon tea in the common area. The manager is knowledgeable and talkative, making conversations enjoyable. The other staff members are also genuinely warm and not overly so, making interactions feel very natural. The main meals were stunning: The boiled beef slices and crispy potato patties for dinner were authentic and flavorful, incredibly satisfying. The afternoon tea was abundant: The afternoon tea pastries were unexpectedly generous, and enjoying them with the lake view significantly enhanced the sense of leisure. The bedding comfort is exceptionally high. The mattress and pillows were so comfortable that I fell asleep as soon as I lay down. What touched me the most was that the guesthouse thoughtfully provided steam eye masks—because the lakeside sun is strong during the day, wearing them at night was incredibly soothing for my eyes. This detail truly 'saved my life'! They really started from the guest's actual experience.

My first review on Ctrip is dedicated to Muyu Guesthouse in Lugu Lake. As someone who doesn't like to do much research, I'm always afraid of being misled by online photos before booking. After browsing hundreds of hotels and guesthouses, I finally chose Muyu, which I suppose was fate. The result far exceeded my expectations: the entire guesthouse is decorated in warm orange tones, and every room exudes a cozy and romantic atmosphere. I especially loved the small garden on the first floor—among the guesthouses in the area, only Muyu has maintained its plants so meticulously, perfect for photos and for pets to play in. The short-haired landlady is efficient and warm, with a natural radiance in her conversation. From the spatial layout to the service details, her thoughtfulness is evident everywhere. Even the recommended local restaurants were a pleasant surprise. Lugu Lake is already a paradise worth visiting repeatedly, and Muyu's existence gives this longing a true home. After returning home, Mr. Z was inspired to write a poem for Muyu as a token of his gratitude: Muyu: Emerald green hills creep up the steps at dawn, the reed gates open to reveal a lush dew. Muyu The aroma of beans cooked in the spring fills the house; the cauldron, like clouds, is simmered, its surface shimmering like silk. Occasionally, mountain birds are called to add to the wild vegetables; sometimes, the moon shines on the fragrant cup. The most sentimental is the guest by the abyss, who rises at dawn to simmer a soup of fine, delicate ingredients.

Service: The service was excellent. The hotel is located halfway up the mountain, and since we checked in during the off-season, they upgraded our room and even provided afternoon tea. When we left, they gave us scented candles as a gift. We were quite forgetful and left some items behind, and the front desk staff, a lovely lady, reminded us and even drove them out to us. We bothered her twice, and we were truly touched, grateful, and a bit embarrassed at the same time 😂. Room: The upgraded room had a perfect view of Lugu Lake right from the window. Unable to sleep at night, I could lie in bed and gaze at the starry sky, and surprisingly, even managed to capture a sky full of stars through the window. The sunrise at around 6 AM was breathtaking, with the soft sunlight gently filling the room, allowing for a 'painless' sunrise viewing experience. This window alone makes it worth a five-star rating. Amenities: The hotel's terrace and restaurant offer fantastic views; just sitting there, eating, and daydreaming was a true pleasure. The breakfast was very generous, and both the elderly and children were very satisfied. Highly recommended!

The hotel is located on the lakeside not far from the lake area. The balcony faces southeast. We arrived in the afternoon and saw the beautiful scenery of Lugu Lake. Lugu Lake is quiet and beautiful, just like this hotel and the hostess of the hotel. A girl, enthusiastic and sincere. We thought that afternoon tea was just a cup of tea and a few biscuits. But they had 4 kinds of fruits, French fries and chicken nuggets, and the tea was also a local specialty flower tea. It was very attentive at first glance. There were also desserts in the evening. The rice noodles for her breakfast were much better than those in most restaurants. The hotel is clean, well-equipped, and the hot water in the bathtub is sufficient. It adds a lot of color to the trip to Lugu Lake. I look forward to going there again next time.

The location of the hotel is quite good. You can see the beautiful view of Lugu Lake and the sunrise from the room. The environment is not bad, parking is convenient, and the service is quite satisfactory. The lake view is absolutely stunning! Breakfast was served promptly and was very tasty. Taking a hot spring bath was particularly comfortable – pure bliss! We booked rooms with private hot tubs for both nights, which was incredibly relaxing. The place was also very clean. Plus, there's a street full of eateries right out the back door, making it super convenient to stay here in Daluoshui Village.
