"This hotel boasts an excellent location, almost directly opposite the century-old teahouse, placing it right in the heart of the ancient city. Male dorms are on the second floor, female dorms on the third, and the rooftop is on the fourth. The hotel is home to several adorable cats, including British Shorthairs and a 'Big Orange' (ginger cat). The price is incredibly reasonable; a few tens of yuan in Kashgar is a fantastic deal, in my opinion. I personally saw the quilts, pillowcases, and sheets being changed for new ones! They even smelled like they'd been sun-dried. The room was very quiet at night, with no noise allowed inside. I'm very satisfied! Highly recommend!"

"Come to Kashgar to play, this is the first time I have lived in the Youth Hostel, ** brushed it.
The environment is very good, the boys and girls are separated, the boys are on the first floor and the girls are on the second floor, the washing machine is also separated, the aunt will clean the room every day, and it will be very clean to keep it by herself.
The atmosphere is also not bad. This time I met the Dragon Boat Festival. The boss also bought dumplings for everyone to eat. Usually, the group will organize some live games, werewolf killing, script killing and the like.

"This is my second time in Kashgar, and this time I just randomly picked a hostel, which turned out to be far beyond my expectations! There's a huge mulberry tree in the lobby, making it very cool and creating a great atmosphere. As soon as I arrived, I joined a board game group and learned a new way to play from Inner Mongolia. The beds are super soft and comfortable, and my roommates were all very considerate. The lady who checked me in was also very friendly and recommended some great places to eat. I'll definitely choose this place again next time!"

Situated in the heart of Kashgar Old City, our boutique hostel offers a range of accommodation options, with the majority of our rooms being comfortable 4-bed dorms. Spanning 2,000 square meters, our space is designed to host up to 100 guests, ensuring both comfort and camaraderie.
Our dorms, with the exception of singles’ rooms, feature built-in bathrooms and showers for your convenience. In addition, we offer numerous public bathrooms and showers throughout the building, so you’ll never have to wait. The Location
Nestled between the vibrant East City and the historic West City of the ancient town, our hostel offers an unparalleled location for your stay. Just 70 meters to the east lies the bustling Han Bazaar, a cultural gem in East City, while a short stroll to the west brings you to the charming West City. Only 60 meters to the south, you’ll find the majestic Id Kah Mosque, and the century-old tea house is a mere 150 meters away.
For your convenience, taxis can drop you right at our doorstep, and the bus stop is just 40 meters away—no need to worry about lugging your baggage through the winding streets under the hot sun.
Our hostel boasts an open courtyard where you can unwind in the serene shade of trees, and a cozy café perfect for chatting over a cup of coffee. As evening falls, immerse yourself in the local culture with live folk music and a refreshing Wusu Beer. Even if you're just passing by, we invite you to stop in and soak up the unique atmosphere that makes our hostel truly special.
"I stayed in a partitioned room for 4 people. The room was quite spacious, and the beds were 1.2m wide. You needed a key card to enter the room, which felt secure.
I felt the mattress was a bit sunken in the middle, probably from too many people sleeping on it. The owner might want to consider flipping the mattresses regularly. The pillows were very high! And the duvet was a bit thick for summer.
The toilet in my particular room wasn't very clean (see photo 2). The hot water was good and hot, but the water pressure wasn't very strong.
On the second floor, there's a women's only area with two squat toilets and one shared shower room.
The third floor has a rooftop balcony where you can dry clothes. However, there was dog poop on the ground there 🤣.
Being a hostel/guesthouse, it was quite lively, and people were chatting nearby at night. It quieted down after about midnight. I'd recommend bringing earplugs.
There are cute cats and dogs in the hostel, but the dog was sleeping in its cage during the day because it was hot."

"Came to Kashgar with friends on motorcycles and stayed at 'Guren Gui' – best decision ever! The landlady is an amazing cook, and you can join in for shared meals. Parking is super easy right outside the courtyard. Plus, there are mulberries and figs you can pick freely.
There were also a lot of foreigners here, and chatting with them was really fun. The hostel common area is huge and super comfy on the first floor, not hot at all, and you can even sing and dance together."

"Well I was only going to stay one or two days in the hostel, but I ended up finding my home here, the people were really amazing, the staff was wonderful and very polite, never felt like I was paying for staying because this is like waking up in mother’s house 😂

"I was traveling alone and met some absolutely wonderful ladies here. They were all so kind and helped me out with so many things. When I was unsure what to do, they even took me out to try delicious food and cook together. In the evenings, we'd have a drink and chat. I really love it here. Although I'm a bit sad I didn't get to visit the Pamir Plateau, the experiences I gained here far outweigh that regret. Thank you for meeting all you wonderful ladies! This room is also very cozy, and the bathroom is great too."

"Two middle-aged men, no double rooms available, so we had to book a family room with three beds. The beds were very comfortable, and the location was excellent, just a short walk inside the Old City's H Bazaar. It's right opposite the Kashgar Id Kah Mosque, the largest mosque in the country. The price was also reasonable. The only downside, due to it being a hostel, was that there were no private bathrooms in the rooms; we had to use the communal facilities, but they were still convenient."

"The decoration is very novel
The boss is very nice. I went to Ta County for two days. I told the boss about my luggage and he helped me store it!
I met a sister from Nanning at the youth hostel and she was also very nice!
Kashgar I will come again
By the way, Ta County is worth a visit!
But don’t sign up for a tour group from Central Asia! I didn’t go to many scenic spots, and when I arrived at the scenic spot, I was asked to come back in 5 minutes, come back in 10 minutes, and give me a maximum of 40 minutes of play time (black man’s question mark face). Then the weather was 38 or 9 degrees, and the driver drove with the windows open! (crying face)"

"I have high standards for hostel hygiene, and this one completely met them! The sheets and duvet covers were changed after each guest, and there was no unpleasant odor. The beds were neatly made, which was very pleasant to look at. The individual charging ports and small lamps on each bed were thoughtfully designed; attention to detail is evident.
It's a perfect location, just a few minutes' bike ride from Kashgar Old City—not too noisy, not too far, making it especially convenient for heading to the Old City in the morning. The private bathroom was impeccably clean; even the sink was sparkling. They show movies in the common area in the evenings, and everyone sits together, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere of ”watching a movie together.” Even without sofas, it didn't feel cramped; in fact, the atmosphere was more relaxed."

Excellent service and a very clean, spacious room with comfortable bedding. The location is fantastic, right at the entrance of the ancient city. Popular spots like the century-old teahouse, Id Kah Mosque, Rainbow Alley, Buidai Alley, 'Grandpa's Grandpa's Father's Nang' (a famous naan shop), and Oil Painting Street are all just a stone's throw from Guilai Inn. There are plenty of local eateries downstairs, making dining very convenient. The owner is very welcoming, and the soundproofing in the rooms is excellent. The night views are beautiful and captivating. Plus, there are bus stops nearby for easy access to the airport and train station. It was a pleasant trip and I highly recommend it; you definitely won't regret staying at this inn.

Guest UserThe house was clean and tidy, and the pillows and quilt were very comfortable. The front desk lady, Xiaodi, was very attentive. I was a little nervous about flying for the first time, but Xiaodi helped me arrange the time and called me to wake up. Boarding that day was super smooth, and it was done in just one hour! I'm so happy, thumbs up.

Anonymous UserI stayed at this guesthouse for the entire 10-day trip to Kashgar, and the experience was absolutely fantastic – it was exactly what I dreamed of! Located right in Kashgar Old City, it's incredibly convenient for exploring the city, and the price is great. It's perfect for couples, groups of friends, or solo travelers.
The room style was absolutely amazing, especially the Fig Tree Canopy Tea Villa room, which exudes a rich French romantic atmosphere. Every photo you take here is a masterpiece, and I felt completely soothed every day. The biggest surprise was the owners – they were incredibly nice, sincere, and welcoming. The owner's cooking was also super delicious, making me feel so warm and cared for.
Throughout my stay, the service, environment, and comfort were impeccable. The rooms were comfortable, with attention to detail, and the overall atmosphere was chill and relaxing – truly a hidden gem for any Kashgar traveler. If you're visiting Kashgar, go for this guesthouse – you won't be disappointed! (By the way, it's also a filming location for the movie ”Kashgar Love Song”!)
