"Traveling with a friend, we booked two rooms with hot spring pools. The rooms were incredibly spacious, and the pools could easily fit five people without feeling crowded. The room design was very stylish, and the views from the window were stunning – a mountain spring on one side and a canyon road on the other. The downstairs restaurant was large, and the yak hot pot, cooked on a charcoal stove, was delicious. There were about seven or eight parking spaces right outside. We walked around and checked out other nearby hotels, but none seemed better. The staff service was also excellent, warm and thoughtful. The centralized oxygen supply starting at 7:30 PM made our first day there much more comfortable. If I had to mention any downsides… our shower didn't have a caddy, so shampoo and shower gel had to be placed on the floor. Also, the rooms only had projectors instead of TVs, and even with the lights off and curtains closed, the clarity wasn't great, and screen mirroring kept disconnecting."

"Overall This was an absolutely stunning stay — one of the best I've experienced, and it truly blew us away. We had a balcony room with a breathtaking view of the mountains. The resort is run by a warm couple and a team of locals who were wonderfully attentive and helpful, arranging our transportation from Chengdu to their doorstep and back. The food was exceptional — wholesome, nourishing and deeply local. The dinner hotpot hit the spot on a cold night, and breakfast was healthy and energising — exactly what you need before a long day of hiking. The room itself was spectacular; waking up to pine trees dusted with snow and a clear mountain view was something else. On a clear night, you could stargaze from the balcony and melt into the rocking chair. Simply blissful and a good escape from the city life. Highly recommend NPS 10. 🏨 Room — 10/10 Great layout, comfortable bed, a warm toilet seat on a cold morning, spacious, and most importantly — a stunning view. The hotel is relatively new, having opened in 2025 according to the owners. 🧹 Cleanliness — 10/10 Spotless throughout. All common areas were new and well kept. 👋 Staff Friendliness & Responsiveness — 10/10 The couple who run the place are genuinely lovely — always on hand to ensure you have a great stay. Responsive over WeChat to help coordinate logistics ahead of the trip, and they'll drop you at the entrance of the main hiking sites. Other staff were equally helpful. The primary language is Chinese, but they are patient and a translation app works perfectly fine. 📍 Location — 9/10 A 10-minute drive from both Changping and Shuangqiao valleys. Not much in the immediate surroundings — quaint little farms, grazing cows, and steep hills that will test anyone not yet acclimatised. 🍽️ Food & Drink — 9/10 The hotpot on both nights was incredibly nourishing and full of flavour, featuring a variety of local wild vegetables and mushrooms. There is also a stir-fry menu with a solid selection of local dishes, though we stuck to the hotpot both evenings. 🌅 View/Scenery — 11/10 Snowcapped peaks and beautiful pine forests as far as the eye can see (visited in April). I could have sat and stared out the window all day. 🏃 Activities & Surroundings — 10/10 The mountains and hiking trails are the main draw here — and honestly, the only activity you'll ever need. Shuangqiao is absolutely gorgeous and you could spend a whole day there if you like to hike(instead of just taking the bus). Changping is more for hikers, no bus service with a different charm, I love it more cause it was less touristy. The immediate area is quiet — everything you need is within the hotel itself. Stock up on essentials in the city, or check with staff ahead of time if there's anything specific you need. It's a hillside town, four hours from Chengdu."

"I checked in on a rainy day in early August, and the room was freezing. There was no air conditioning, and the underfloor heating was completely ineffective. Combined with altitude sickness, I felt very unwell. The room was newly renovated, and the smell was quite strong. Breathing felt very constricted when I slept at night. There were also banging noises from outside in the early hours, so I didn't get any sleep. The breakfast's six-compartment platter consisted entirely of pre-packaged dim sum. The noodles and vermicelli portions were generous, and the complimentary drinks were decent. Since we could only eat at the hotel within the scenic area, the dry pot ribs and chicken combo was alright. However, the lobby restaurant also lacked heating, making for an uncomfortable dining environment. The overall style leans towards the Atour hotel chain, trying to create a comfortable atmosphere, but the attention to detail is poor. For example, the room door lock was confusing: lifting the handle opened the door, while pushing it down locked it. The front desk staff, particularly a young lady, was very attentive. She contacted me in advance to explain things and was always available when called. However, they failed to adequately prepare the room for heating given the cold weather. It's commendable that the hotel provides oxygen concentrators and portable oxygen tanks. However, the idea of offering private hot springs at an altitude of 3300 meters is questionable, as most people wouldn't be able to take a bath right after arriving."

Equipped with a giant projector screen, underfloor heating, and medical-grade oxygen supply, you can stay comfortably and without worry at 3200 meters above sea level, free from altitude sickness. The bathtub is strategically placed overlooking the cliff, allowing you to gaze at glaciers while soaking – incredibly therapeutic. The butler service is exceptionally thoughtful. They proactively reached out before check-in to assist with our needs, and afternoon tea could be delivered to our room. We savored every moment, accompanied by the sounds of the snow-capped mountains and flowing streams. We felt gently cared for throughout our stay. This is an absolute must-stay, flagship room type when visiting Siguniang Mountain. The views, facilities, and service are all top-notch. It's perfect for travelers looking to immerse themselves in the mystique of the snow-capped mountains and rejuvenate their minds and bodies. Once you experience it, you'll never forget it."

"This hotel is super close to Changping Valley Scenic Area, making it perfect for hiking in both Changping Valley and Haizi Valley. The room had underfloor heating, an oxygen machine, a large projector, and membership, which was absolutely fantastic and ideal for my child and me. The staff (a young lady) was lovely and helped us book a car. We could even pre-order meals for dining at the hotel, so they were ready when we came down – the food was delicious and not expensive. We were very satisfied with our stay."

"This hotel exceeded my expectations! Even at an altitude of around 3300 meters, the diffused and nasal oxygen supply made breathing completely effortless. The hotel's setting is absolutely stunning, like a 'sky city' on the edge of a cliff with endless scenic views. There are so many great photo opportunities, often with rain, fog, and snow appearing together! 👍 After a shower in the evening, I was lucky enough to witness a double rainbow 🌈🌈 rising from the clouds in the mountains – what a thrilling and auspicious experience! The hotel service was excellent; the butler group was always responsive and communicative, making us feel very well taken care of. The in-room Bluetooth speaker was also fantastic, allowing us to enjoy pleasant music while admiring the beautiful sunrise and sea of clouds from the window. Both the hot pot and Chinese dishes were delicious, and returning from the scenic area felt just like coming home. The sunrise views were breathtaking for two consecutive days. Fantastic! 👍🌙"

"This stay was incredibly satisfying; I have to commend the hotel's environment and facilities. The hotel as a whole is quiet and serene. The hallways, lobby, and guest rooms were all spotless. The decor is simple yet elegant, with no strange odors, and the soundproofing is excellent—you won't be disturbed by outside noise at all. The room amenities are comprehensive and well-maintained: a soft large bed, an HD TV, and a separate wet/dry bathroom with 24-hour hot water and stable water pressure are all included. The high-speed WiFi was consistently smooth. Essential details like toiletries, storage shelves, and charging outlets are all well-appointed. All facilities are new, not old, making them easy and convenient to use. With such a superior living environment and complete amenities, this is my top choice for accommodation when traveling. I highly recommend it."

"Highly recommended! The hotel is in a fantastic location near Changping Valley, with plenty of restaurants, cafés, and the food street within walking distance. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated in a Japanese style, and very comfortable. We especially loved the private hot spring, which was a wonderful way to unwind after exploring the area. The hotel also provides complimentary transportation to Shuangqiaogou and other nearby attractions, making travel very convenient. The free breakfast was delicious as well. Although there is no air conditioning and it felt a little warm for us as Malaysians, everything else was excellent. The price is slightly higher than average, but the overall experience made it absolutely worth it."

"This hotel was absolutely perfect for my trip to Mount Siguniang! The location was fantastic, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The hotel boasts a modern Chinese style, clean, tidy, and stylish, with complete facilities. The rooms were very comfortable, the bedding was soft, and I slept soundly. There's also a rooftop outdoor heated hot spring with stunning night views – perfect for relaxing after a long day of activities. The kids didn't want to leave the children's slide and sandpit, making it ideal for family trips. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and the hotel offered excellent value for money. The owner was very hospitable, friendly, and even provided tourist maps and detailed guides on the best ways to explore Mount Siguniang, making our trip even more perfect. For dinner, we ordered the signature yak meat hot pot, the ingredients were fresh, and the ******* yogurt pancakes were delicious and lingering in the mouth – it was definitely worth the trip! If you're looking for a warm and family-friendly resort hotel, this hotel will not disappoint and is highly recommended."

"The snow-capped mountains at 9 AM were absolutely stunning! No need to get up early to chase the sunrise; it truly lives up to its nickname, ”Little Switzerland of Western Sichuan.” After searching for ages, I finally found a courtyard hot spring bath with a view. And it's a private courtyard bath for each guesthouse, so you won't be disturbed. The guesthouse has its own restaurant where you can enjoy local cuisine. As a Cantonese person coming from a city in the twenties (Celsius) to the sub-zero Western Sichuan plateau for the first time, I absolutely had to have some braised yak meat and matsutake chicken soup to warm me up. Soaking in my private courtyard hot spring bath in -8°C weather, gazing at the unbeatable snow-capped mountain scenery—this is what it means to have your eyes in paradise! Even at an altitude of over 3,000 meters, there's no need to worry. The guesthouse has oxygen cylinders and oxygen bags. Although it was my first time at such a high altitude, I felt mild altitude sickness, which was manageable. Especially when I felt unwell, taking a walk in the courtyard and breathing in the negative ions of nature made me feel much better! What's best about the guesthouse is the scenery; it's truly my ideal utopia. Every view from the room is a perfect shot. You don't need to spend money to go to tourist attractions to see snow-capped mountains, meadows, yaks, horses, and donkeys. Coming here to relax is incredibly therapeutic."
