"I must say, this is by far the best hotel ever. The service, the owner & staff are fantastic. If you are looking for a place to stay with a breathtaking view, great facilities please consider this place. Both of me and my wife are Muslim. They even provide a vegetarian food that we can eat. They will do their best to serve us. We are truly grateful for this and if we ever come back to visit, we will definitely come here again! Btw these is the view from our room! "The B&B boasts an excellent location right within the Changping Valley scenic area. The rooms and the restaurant directly face all four peaks of Siguniang Mountain, with the 'Little Sister Peak' (Yaomei Peak) being particularly prominent. We were incredibly lucky to witness snow-capped mountains, a starry sky, and even a glimpse of the 'Golden Mountain Bathed in Sunlight' (Rizhao Jinshan). The B&B rooms are well-equipped, featuring underfloor heating, oxygen generators, and humidifiers. The underfloor heating was constantly on, ensuring the room was warm the moment we stepped in. The decor was cozy, and each room had a private courtyard, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Although I didn't dare use the bathtub at this altitude, it seemed to be of high quality and very clean. A comprehensive set of good quality disposable toiletries was provided, along with complimentary snacks, beverages, and fruits. The B&B offers three meals a day. Breakfast was rich and varied; both the rice noodles and regular noodles were delicious. The Sichuan fermented tofu with plain congee was particularly excellent. On our second day, when we visited Haizigou where there are no dining options, they even packed us a simple lunch for free. The freshly ground coffee at breakfast was also a nice touch. The ******* hot pot for dinner was quite good and warmed us up. They also offered simple Chinese dishes and pizza. What truly stood out was the service – incredibly thoughtful and responsive. All our requests were met. They provided car pick-up and drop-off to designated locations, saving us the worry of driving on mountain roads ourselves, which was a huge plus for female drivers. They actively helped with luggage, bringing it directly to our room. On the day we checked in, we had first traveled from Jiaju to Shuangqiao Valley, arriving at the B&B quite late. We had pre-ordered dinner, and upon arrival, feeling ravenous, the kind lady at the front desk thoughtfully suggested we eat first and even offered us glucose water to prevent altitude sickness. They were always ready to answer any questions about sightseeing and transportation, offering helpful tips. Upon departure, they gave us small gifts and proactively asked for suggestions for improvement, humbly accepting feedback on the tastes of friends from different regions. Overall, the experience was fantastic."

"I was traveling alone to Mount Siguniang for a race and deliberated for a long time between this guesthouse and a Quanji hotel. I ultimately chose the guesthouse because I wasn't sure how I'd react to the altitude and hoped for better care if I experienced altitude sickness. I'm so grateful to the kind owners! While the guesthouse doesn't serve meals, they made me some of their homemade wontons when it was raining. The owner also drove me everywhere I needed to go. The room came equipped with an oxygen concentrator, and the view from the window was absolutely stunning. All of this contributed to a fantastic overall experience for my trip. Highly recommended!"

"We booked the deluxe room with valley view. The room is small than standard Chinese hotel rooms, but I assume the space in the valley is smaller, so rooms are more compact. The view on the valley is truly amazing. Smart toilet, smart curtains, bathtub with view and oxygen improver round up the amenities in the room. The staff is friendly. The breakfast takes place in the hotel nearby, so not offered directly on the spot (this was on may 2026, maybe it changes in high season). Negative point are the parking area, which is a small common area behind the hotel (not private, so in high season could be complicated) and the cleaning of the room could be improved. Good for 1 night, but I wouldn’t do longer."

"Overall This was an absolutely stunning stay — one of the best I've experienced, and it truly blew us away. We had a balcony room with a breathtaking view of the mountains. The resort is run by a warm couple and a team of locals who were wonderfully attentive and helpful, arranging our transportation from Chengdu to their doorstep and back. The food was exceptional — wholesome, nourishing and deeply local. The dinner hotpot hit the spot on a cold night, and breakfast was healthy and energising — exactly what you need before a long day of hiking. The room itself was spectacular; waking up to pine trees dusted with snow and a clear mountain view was something else. On a clear night, you could stargaze from the balcony and melt into the rocking chair. Simply blissful and a good escape from the city life. Highly recommend NPS 10. 🏨 Room — 10/10 Great layout, comfortable bed, a warm toilet seat on a cold morning, spacious, and most importantly — a stunning view. The hotel is relatively new, having opened in 2025 according to the owners. 🧹 Cleanliness — 10/10 Spotless throughout. All common areas were new and well kept. 👋 Staff Friendliness & Responsiveness — 10/10 The couple who run the place are genuinely lovely — always on hand to ensure you have a great stay. Responsive over WeChat to help coordinate logistics ahead of the trip, and they'll drop you at the entrance of the main hiking sites. Other staff were equally helpful. The primary language is Chinese, but they are patient and a translation app works perfectly fine. 📍 Location — 9/10 A 10-minute drive from both Changping and Shuangqiao valleys. Not much in the immediate surroundings — quaint little farms, grazing cows, and steep hills that will test anyone not yet acclimatised. 🍽️ Food & Drink — 9/10 The hotpot on both nights was incredibly nourishing and full of flavour, featuring a variety of local wild vegetables and mushrooms. There is also a stir-fry menu with a solid selection of local dishes, though we stuck to the hotpot both evenings. 🌅 View/Scenery — 11/10 Snowcapped peaks and beautiful pine forests as far as the eye can see (visited in April). I could have sat and stared out the window all day. 🏃 Activities & Surroundings — 10/10 The mountains and hiking trails are the main draw here — and honestly, the only activity you'll ever need. Shuangqiao is absolutely gorgeous and you could spend a whole day there if you like to hike(instead of just taking the bus). Changping is more for hikers, no bus service with a different charm, I love it more cause it was less touristy. The immediate area is quiet — everything you need is within the hotel itself. Stock up on essentials in the city, or check with staff ahead of time if there's anything specific you need. It's a hillside town, four hours from Chengdu."

"I highly recommend this new Siguniang Mountain Villa for anyone driving themselves – it's a godsend for anyone who loves to relax! The biggest advantage is its unbeatable location: a mere 2-minute walk directly to the Shuangqiao Valley Scenic Area entrance. The hotel also boasts a huge free parking lot, saving you the parking fees at the scenic area. No need to wake up early to beat the morning rush or fight for a parking spot – a dream come true for late sleepers! Wake up naturally in the morning, then enjoy a leisurely buffet breakfast – the variety is impressive, and they even have an espresso machine! Grab a freshly brewed hot coffee before heading out, it really adds to the ambiance. After breakfast, it's a two-minute stroll into the scenic area, perfectly timed to miss the peak crowds. You won't have to jostle for a good spot to take photos, which doubles the enjoyment of the experience. The barbecue in the hotel's back parking lot is self-operated and tastes incredibly authentic. It's open from 6 PM to 12 AM – very convenient for those who prefer a relaxed evening."

During our stay, we returned from hiking feeling very cold and requested an extra blanket. The owner was incredibly understanding and immediately helped us. Thanks to his kindness and the comfort he provided, we well-being, making sure we were comfortable and taken care of. To be honest, the owner treated us more like a younger brother than a guest. His warmth, kindness, and genuine care made us feel at home. We already miss him. I promise that I will come back again, and next time I will bring many more hikers and travellers from my country to experience this wonderful place. "This hotel exceeded my expectations! Even at an altitude of around 3300 meters, the diffused and nasal oxygen supply made breathing completely effortless. The hotel's setting is absolutely stunning, like a 'sky city' on the edge of a cliff with endless scenic views. There are so many great photo opportunities, often with rain, fog, and snow appearing together! 👍 After a shower in the evening, I was lucky enough to witness a double rainbow 🌈🌈 rising from the clouds in the mountains – what a thrilling and auspicious experience! The hotel service was excellent; the butler group was always responsive and communicative, making us feel very well taken care of. The in-room Bluetooth speaker was also fantastic, allowing us to enjoy pleasant music while admiring the beautiful sunrise and sea of clouds from the window. Both the hot pot and Chinese dishes were delicious, and returning from the scenic area felt just like coming home. The sunrise views were breathtaking for two consecutive days. Fantastic! 👍🌙"

"I chose this place because of its excellent location, directly opposite the entrances to Changping Valley and Haizi Valley. It's incredibly convenient if you're planning to hike either of those trails. From my room, I could directly see the queue for Changping Valley, and after a grueling hike in Haizi Valley, it was a huge relief to just cross the road and be back at the guesthouse. Compared to other establishments in this area, the room facilities were probably the best at the time of my visit (though there might be better ones now). The laundry and drying facilities were also very convenient, with commercial-grade machines. The service was quite good; whenever I had a question, the front desk staff usually provided detailed solutions and were very friendly. If you're too tired after hiking, you can also eat at the guesthouse. The food was decent, and the prices seemed comparable to nearby restaurants. I get the feeling the manager or owner is very dedicated; I always saw him in the lobby, which suggests he genuinely wants to make this place a success. I do have a few minor suggestions: the bathroom sink area lacks a countertop, so there's nowhere to put a small trash can, which was a bit inconvenient. Also, there's no splash guard behind the sink, so water easily splashes onto the nearby bed. The light switches in my room were wired incorrectly, so turning lights on or off was a guessing game every time (this might just be an issue with my specific room, and the owner could look into it). There were no bath mats, and the shower area wasn't recessed, so water easily spilled out. We had to use disposable bath towels as makeshift mats (it feels like the owner might have been short-changed during renovation here). The windows also leaked easily during rain, which over time could lead to significant water damage. I understand that running a guesthouse in a place like Siguniangshan might have its challenges, but these are just suggestions. If you're looking for a picturesque spot for photos, this place is perfect. Every day, I saw people taking photos in the lobby on my way out, and again when I returned in the evening (｡ì _ í｡). My room faced the mountain directly, and at night, the gentle sound of the stream provided a soothing white noise for sleep. Although it's by the road, there's very little traffic at night, so it's quite peaceful."
