Located in Haneda Airport Garden, it's a very convenient 5-minute walk at a normal pace to T3 departures and arrivals. The room faced Tokyo Bay and was incredibly quiet. The 10th-floor onsen has three outdoor pools with great views, one of which allows you to lie flat on the stones – incredibly comfortable! Indoors, there are four or five different-sized pools, including natural hot springs, jet massage baths, and carbonated baths. The facility is large, well-designed for efficient movement, impeccably clean, and the service is excellent. After your bath, there's a self-service fridge with Morinaga ice milk for 190 yen. You can charge it to your room and pay at check-out, or use the self-service machine in the resting area by the pools. No need to bring your own bath towels or face towels. Plus, the hotel mini-bar has about five or six types of complimentary beverages.

This place is so nice for a solo traveler! Easy to get in the city because it’s located near a JR Saikyō line station. Ikebukuro, Shinjuku, Shibuya are only 2-4 stations away! There’s a Family Mart nearby. The room was clean, beds are soft. I just don’t like the fact that the air conditioner stops and turns itself back on every 10 minutes.. I need my constant cold air. 🥲 5 stars for 3 cats in the alley. 🐱🐱🐱

This Dormy Inn in Tokyo is my go-to whenever I visit, and I've already recommended it to friends. The attention to detail is excellent, especially the pillows – I'm seriously impressed! It's definitely the best value for money for what I'm looking for.

The hot spring was definitely the highlight—everything felt clean, the baths were warm and soothing, and it was an easy way to unwind after a day of exploring. Location-wise, it was also a big plus. Being in/near Akihabara made it simple to enjoy the area’s shops, food, and attractions without dealing with long commutes. The room was comfortable enough for a restful stay, and the staff were friendly and helpful whenever I needed anything. Overall, I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxing hot spring stay in a convenient Akihabara spot.

Stayed for two nights with my mum as it was her birthday trip. We had reserved a room with bunk beds but were initially given a room with just one bed. They changed it after we went back to reception and showed our confirmation. They also photocopied our passports. It would have been helpful if reception had explained the different levels on the 2nd and 4th floors between the new and main buildings. The amenities were great, with good pillow options, a hot pool and a nice breakfast. Despite a few hiccups at check in, I would still recommend this place to others!

This indicates that the hotel is capable of good service, but the initial day's execution standards simply weren't met. In contrast, Trip.com's service experience during this incident left a deeper impression. The customer service proactively followed up, communicated efficiently, and handled the situation professionally. They were able to push for problem resolution from a customer experience perspective, demonstrating a mature platform service system. This level of after-sales responsiveness is quite high among current online travel platforms. Overall Rating: The hotel's hardware and positioning are fine, but there's room for improvement in service consistency, especially regarding the first-day delivery standards of housekeeping management. Trip.com's coordination and service performance in this incident, on the other hand, highlighted the professional value of their platform.

The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Ikebukuro Station Exit 35. From Haneda Airport, you can take a bus directly to the Sunshine City bus stop. The hotel staff, including the front desk and restaurant, were all excellent. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. On the 15th floor, there's a hot spring bath, with Yakult available in the mornings and ice cream in the evenings. The ice cream was really good – on our first day, we foolishly bought ice cream at the supermarket, but after that, we just waited for the complimentary evening ice cream! Oh, and there's free ramen available after 9:30 PM. Everything was great, apart from the small room size.

Cleaning is chargeable at 1.5k yen per clean. Otherwise no cleaning whatsoever - but they do give you new towels and a trash bag daily (hung on your door knob). Breakfast is pretty cute and homely - I liked it when I tried it at a different province, so I rebooked dormy inn. They have a luggage scale at level 2, so very convenient if you have been shopping like crazy. The shopping street around the area is pretty interesting, and I love uneo park. However, some pretty strange stuff during my stay: 1. They insisted on entering my room for an ”inspection” but didn't specify why. When I called to ask, they said it was a bedframe inspection. As a solo female traveler my preference is not to let random people into my room, especially if they're not going to clean after these external people enter, but reception said they couldn't wait until my stay was over a few days later. When I came back to the room, my blanket was shifted and untucked entirely from one side, and my electronics were moved around. 2. A bug appeared on my sink mirror, so I gave feedback to the hotel staff as mini bugs means there's more bugs, and suggested that they fumigate. They said ”oh... sorry” suddenly all proceeded to look away from me and pretend I didn't exist, which was super weird treatment, and very rude lol. I didn't even ask them to change my room, the point is that these bugs are likely to have infestations, and if I came back in another trip to this hotel, I would not like to see more. They didn't even bother asking me what floor I was on, so 100% they don't seem to have any intention of dealing with this. Very weird and poor behaviour - I think it was too much to expect Onyado Nono service in Dormy Inn, so I don't think I will come back.

I’d wanted to stay at this hotel for a long time and loved the idea of a traditional-style hotel right in the heart of Tokyo. The staff were very friendly, and I was happy to get a room on a higher floor as I had requested. The room itself was very small and felt a bit outdated. For this price range, I expected a little more. However, the window — definitely the highlight of the room — offered an incredible view of the city. The onsen was quite small, but wow. Being able to relax in an outdoor bath right in the center of Tokyo while looking out at the city was an amazing experience. The breakfast was also very good.

This is a reasonably priced hotel in Tokyo where you can enjoy a hot spring bath. It's not simply a 'downgrade' alternative to a Dormy Inn; Super Hotel has its own unique charm. While the rooms aren't large, the space is efficiently utilized. You can slide a large suitcase under the bed, which effectively creates a lot more room. You can also choose your own pillow. The room uses a password entry system, so you don't have to worry about losing your key card. The hot bath was very comfortable too. The surrounding area is full of traditional Japanese charm, which is quite interesting. I even had a heated argument with a few elderly 'rebellious' ladies... Of course, Ikebukuro itself has plenty of places to explore. Tobu Duty-Free offers tax-free shopping without any processing fees, and there's often a long queue, likely for Montbell. Personally, I'd recommend the Montbell in Kagoshima, as they have more discounts. From Ikebukuro, you can use your JR pass to visit Kawagoe and Omiya, which are less crowded than Tokyo and also great for exploring.
