"This truly is the best hotel in Jilin city, full of thoughtful touches. My girlfriend and I met in Jilin, and a year later, we celebrated her birthday here again. A huge thanks to the housekeeping staff who decorated our room in advance; it was such a pleasant surprise when we opened the door. The room was also very spacious with a beautiful river view. We extended our stay for another night, and the housekeeper diligently cleaned our room and replaced towels and amenities while we were out the next day. Although the hotel has some history, this dedicated and passionate team ensures it maintains its high standards. 👍"

"Comfortable hotel that is close to Jilin Railway Station - about 6 mins drive away. Great for a nights stay especially if you’re headed out to take the train the next day! We had to catch an early train so we asked for the hotel to pack breakfast - which contained - a packet of milk, a preserved packaged egg, bread (I liked this), some packaged sausage. They also provided bottled water and were fine when we requested for more."

"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The location was perfect—close to major attractions, restaurants, and transportation. I especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and the attention to detail throughout the property. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would happily stay here again and recommend it to others."

"We stayed during renovations in the building which may have caused our first room to not have hot water. The staff reassigned us rooms quickly and the stay was pleasant. The hotel is just across a bus exchange from Jilin Railway Station, extremely convenient for traveling. The furnishings are retro but classy. The bathroom was a single space divided by a shower curtain separating the shower area from the toilet. Do note that there are smoking and non-smoking floors, make sure you specify which one you are on if it matters to you."

"Booked a suite. Before we even arrived, the front desk called to ask my child's age so they could prepare the room and a little gift. My child was thrilled (even though the toy was for toddlers, haha). Upon entering the hotel, we were warmly greeted and given a rundown of the hotel facilities and dining options, along with recommendations for local activities, food, and entertainment. Breakfast is from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM. For both days, my child woke up late, and we were able to pack breakfast to take back to our room. The restaurant manager's service was exceptional! The hotel room was spacious enough for three adults and one child, absolutely perfect. It's not far to see the rime ice in the morning, and it's easy to get a taxi."

"The hotel's location is excellent, with lots of great food options on Xiamen Street nearby, and even a morning market. The service was absolutely wonderful; every request was met, and all the staff were lovely. Both the lobby and the rooms are beautiful, and I really enjoyed the scent. The lobby offers tea and delicious small cookies. The only downside to the room was that it was too warm, but you can ask the front desk to turn off the underfloor heating. The room comes with a Dyson hairdryer and a jewelry tray, which are thoughtful touches, and the toiletries are also very good. The breakfast selection is rich, and both the coffee and soy milk are delicious. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Jilin."

"The hotel's location is great, a short taxi ride from the train station, and there are tons of delicious food options within walking distance. Parking right outside the hotel is also a plus. They even offer complimentary warm congee at 9:30 PM, which is a lovely touch. The room's heating was powerful, and the front desk staff, Ximei and Duomi, were incredibly attentive and helpful!"

"Hotel is rather near to the Jilin train station. Exit via the west entrance. It is a 5-8mins walk away. However, for families with baggage, a Didi/taxi ride is just 6-7 yuan away. Rooms are modern. Lots of eateries nearby. Also found out there were plenty of malls selling specialist winter gear nearby. Huilong shopping mall level 3/4 for the jackets. Da Fu Hao mall a short 3-4 mins walk from there for the winter shoes. Another mall for the skiing attire. Can consider getting your winter stuff here before going to your onwards winter holiday at Changbaishan or Haerbin."

"The room facilities are excellent, and the service is great! When the water in my bathtub wasn't hot enough, the duty manager, Li Bin, went above and beyond to help me switch rooms. I really appreciate his dedication. The hotel is also very close to the ski resort; it's just a few steps from the hotel's ski house to the slopes, which is incredibly convenient. The quality of the ski equipment at the hotel's ski house is pretty good. The only minor drawback is that the ski boots had a bit of an odor, perhaps they weren't cleaned and disinfected promptly. I hope this can be improved in the future."

"I frequently stay at budget hotels, but I rarely leave reviews. However, I absolutely have to review this particular Hanting – it's the best one I've ever stayed at. The hotel has actually been open for quite some time, so I initially thought the facilities would be old. But once I entered, it felt like a brand new hotel! The overall layout is very comfortable, and it was completely quiet at night. Although it's not huge, everything is spotless, which made for a very pleasant stay. What surprised me most was that every room features an original piece of art. These paintings are a collaborative effort with students from the Central Academy of Fine Arts – a cross-industry partnership! That creative artwork really enhanced the entire room. I genuinely felt much happier just by looking at it every evening. The front desk even has traditional Northeastern padded coats for photo opportunities, and the lighting throughout the hotel, both at reception and in the rooms, is very pleasant. Overall, I found my stay extremely comfortable. My mom felt a great vibe from the moment she stepped in. We later stayed at other Hanting hotels, but none of them were as good as this one."
