"Tengchong Guanfang Hotel | A Real Experience During the Rainy Season I stayed at the Guanfang Hotel in Tengchong this time, and it generally exceeded my expectations. Here are a few genuine feelings I'd like to share 👇 🏠 **Service** The response time was incredibly fast. Whatever issue I called the front desk about, they resolved it. The shuttle service within the resort was on-call, and I usually got picked up within 1-2 minutes. When using the indoor hot springs, staff would pre-place towels on nearby loungers, saving me the hassle of fetching them myself. Bellboys also helped deliver luggage to the room, making the whole process very convenient. Delivery drivers aren't allowed into the hotel grounds; once an order arrives at the lobby, you just call the front desk, and staff will bring it directly to your room. 🛏 **Room** I booked a garden-view king room. The bed was super large (estimated 2.2 meters), perfectly fine for a family of three. Every afternoon, a fruit plate was delivered to the room. We also had the option of bedtime milk in the evenings (we didn't ask for it, so it wasn't delivered). It's the rainy season in Tengchong, so the room was a bit humid, but there was an electric blanket on the bed. Turning it on for a while before sleeping made it wonderfully warm and comfortable. 🍳 **Breakfast** The variety was exceptionally rich, with both Chinese and Western options, and the quality was good. What I particularly loved were the local specialties available for breakfast: rice noodles, Ersi (a local noodle-like dish), roasted Erkuai (rice cakes), Poshu Bao (flaky steamed buns), and various special dipping sauces. Even without leaving the hotel, you could experience most of the local flavors. Remember that the restaurant stops serving at 10:10 AM, so don't oversleep. Before 7:30 AM, the restaurant isn't crowded, and you can find a spot on the garden balcony with a decent view."

The front desk staff provided delightful service with warm smiles, making us feel right at home. We received a welcome fruit platter upon check-in, and the service throughout our stay was attentive and polite without being intrusive. The housekeeping staff meticulously cleaned our room every day. Any requests made to the front desk were promptly addressed. As for the hot spring experience, our room was conveniently located next to an outdoor hot spring pool. The water quality is genuine hot spring water! "Facilities: Excellent. The hardware is well-equipped and new. There's even a very useful washing machine in the room, making it perfect for long stays. Cleanliness: Excellent. Environment: It's located in a large complex full of 4S car dealerships. There are plenty of parking spaces, and because it's set back from the street, it's surprisingly quiet at night, which is great for rest. If you turn right when you leave, you'll find the long-distance bus station and a large supermarket. There's a dedicated bus line to the volcano, which you can catch at the bus stop on the northeast side of the Xu Xiake roundabout. Everything is very convenient. Service: Excellent. They answer all your questions and helped us book hot spring tickets for less than what 'this' and 'that' platform offered. The front desk staff are well-trained; they stand up to greet guests from a distance as soon as they see them arrive. They even provide four large bottles of mineral water in the room daily, which is a very thoughtful and generous touch."
