I rarely write reviews, but this stay at the Tengchong Jingge Hotel was extremely disappointing. First, for a price of 1395 yuan per night, the room, bathroom, shower, and toilet were incredibly small, and the elevator in the public area couldn't even accommodate two people standing side-by-side. Second, during check-in, we asked a staff member to fill the hot spring pool in our room, but when we soaked in the outdoor public hot spring pool, it was very cold. We thought we could soak in it again later in our room, but when we asked, they said there was only one staff member on the night shift and she was unavailable. We said we would wait until she finished delivering to another room before getting hot water, and after some hesitation, we agreed, but she could only fill it and leave immediately; she couldn't even wait two minutes for the cold water to fill. Third, in a rush to check out in the morning, I accidentally left a room key in my pocket. After leaving, I specifically called to apologize. They replied that I either had to have it delivered or pay 20 yuan in compensation. For such a high-end hotel with such an expensive room rate, is it really worth the extra 20 yuan?
