"My friends and I stayed at the Dalian Qingqiu Hotel during our trip, and the overall experience was excellent, exceeding our expectations in every aspect. The public areas are thoughtfully decorated, featuring pavilions and staggered scenic views that create a strong atmospheric ambiance. The aesthetic design is consistent throughout the entire space, giving it a unified and unique character. The lobby has a scenic fish pond with koi swimming freely, adding a lively and elegant touch. Feeding the fish is interactive and adds a lot of vitality to the environment, making a stroll through the area very pleasant. The guest rooms are clean and comfortable, with a well-designed layout and simple yet stylish interiors. The amenities are complete, the bedding is comfortable, and the rooms are quiet, ensuring a very relaxing stay. The hotel offers free traditional Chinese costumes for guests to try on and take photos, which is a lot of fun. The location is a major highlight, as it's excellent and close to Xinghai Square, making travel very convenient. Nearby attractions and dining spots are concentrated, saving time and effort for sightseeing and business trips. The hotel breakfast is simple but delicious, featuring a refreshing Chinese set meal. The minced pork noodles, seaweed soup, and side dishes are just right, and there are also sweet steamed cakes, egg custard, and cherry tomatoes. Overall, this hotel combines beauty, comfort, and practicality. The design, environment, service, and location are all commendable, offering a fantastic experience and great value for money. It's an excellent choice for accommodation when visiting Dalian and highly recommended."

"This place is incredibly convenient, with a subway station, restaurants, and convenience stores all nearby. The room was very clean and well-maintained. I stayed in a sea view room and the view was absolutely fantastic. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay. The only minor downside was that the bed was a bit firm; it would be perfect if the mattress were a little softer. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Dalian."

"The (apart)hotel is located steps away from the seaside and 东方水城 with plenty of eateries (but definitely less than what you get if staying at 中山广场 for example - we purposely chose to be close to the seaside here). The staff from bellboy to front desk/ cleaning staff is also eager to please with smiles all around, definitely pleasant interactions. On the downside, there was a heavy smoke smell at the hallway leading to our unit, and upon confirmation with the staff working at the floor during the time, turns out that the person living next door is smoking 🥲 this smell did creep into our unit over time, which led me to request air purifier and open the windows to improve circulation. Also I need to turn *off* ventilation at the bathroom to prevent smoke smell. Luckily, the situation improved during our stay (so I decided against requesting to change units) since the occurrence of smoke smell became less (perhaps the resident checked out/ decided to smoke less?). Anyhow, this did damper our experience. Also to note a service suggestion due to the smell I immediately requested a purifier unit, didn’t realize that there’s already one sitting in the unit. I also requested detergent since washing machine is available in the unit, didn’t realize that it’s readily available inside the bathroom. While the receptionist happily agreed to my request when I called to request the items (upon checking into my room), they could have also just informed me where they are located to avoid the redundant request. Also, perhaps the detergent should be placed visibly/ closer to the washing unit instead of being together with toothbrush etc inside the drawer in the bathroom - just a suggestion. Breakfast offerings while great is also nothing to wow about (one of our main considerations for hotel selection is to look at breakfast pricing listed, which is 198 RMB in this case, which is on the higher end, so we were expecting some kind of a wow factor). Yes, the restaurant is located on the 67th floor offering nice view, but the spread is nothing to rave about - it’s your typical above average breakfast spread with additionally a little seafood selection. During our stay I did come across an offer to purchase breakfast for 108 RMB in one of the platforms, and I think the value is much closer to this rather than 198, so something worth calling out. So all in all, good hotel with great location/ views/ staff - calling out the smoking issue (more of a people problem rather than hotel’s, but I would wish/ expect that indoor smoking should be non existent for 5-star establishments, which isn’t the case here), and secondarily the breakfast value. The shower issue (lower pressure/ time to heat) from other reviews is also real, but not a big deal for us."

"I always feel that the apartment is not as clean as the hotel, but I feel very clean during the few days I have stayed at Yihai Meisu. The environment here is also very good, the transportation is convenient, there are many attractions around, and it is very close to Venice Water City. I go there almost every night"

"Very nice hotel, best location, subway is very close, park is behind of the hotel, near by so many interesting places, good breakfast, service is good, people at the reception verykind and polite, for free give me upgrade even if i didn’t ask for upgrade, managers is really very good. Recommend hotel to stay. Will be back again for sure, one of the most comfortable hotels in the Dalian city. Recommend to go to the park cable cap and enjoy nice views"

The hotel's sky garden is exquisite and elegant, serving as a perfect observation deck with unobstructed views of the entire Xinghai Bay. The cross-sea bridge, alongside the vast blue sky and ocean, creates a breathtaking panorama. This fairytale castle hotel exceeded expectations with its elegant and clean environment, and well-equipped, comfortable rooms. James provided meticulous and thoughtful service, and the facilities were comprehensive, ensuring the children were happy throughout the stay. The photo opportunities were fantastic, and it offers great value for money. Highly recommended for families with children."

"A total of five of us, including two children, stayed together, and we were truly satisfied with the accommodation for our family trip. The space was spacious, and the location was excellent, with many restaurants and amenities nearby, making it easy to get around. It was not a burden at all to travel with the children. Above all, the owner spoke excellent English, making communication easy. They also recommended some great local restaurants, one of which left a particularly strong impression. I liked it even more because it wasn't a restaurant geared towards tourists, but rather one that had an authentic local vibe. Also, the most memorable part of this trip was the traditional Chinese Tui Na massage I received thanks to the owner's recommendation. I went there trusting the owner's recommendation that it was run by a doctor friend, and it truly exceeded my expectations. It felt less like a simple massage and more like proper medical treatment. Honestly, I would want to come back to Dalian just to get this massage. There were a German and a Russian in the next bed, so we had some small talk; it seems like it is a well-known place. It was a time where I was satisfied with everything, from the family trip and comfortable accommodation to the special experiences."
