"My child absolutely loved this room! Besides being spacious, it was incredibly well-equipped. They even provided free earplugs and makeup remover wipes, not to mention complimentary tricycles and bicycles for exploring the ancient city. It was very quiet at night, making for a peaceful sleep. And the front desk staff? Their service was exceptional – truly made our stay comfortable and pleasant. The breakfast, served on a street in the ancient city, was just a few hundred meters away."

"This hotel definitely deserves five stars. The rooms are spacious and well-arranged. All the amenities, including the kettle, coffee machine, and even the toiletries, are from well-known brands. The room also features AI voice service, which is very convenient and practical. The entire hotel is exquisitely decorated, with large and luxurious elevators. The hotel isn't far from the ancient city, and there's a Wanda Plaza about 1 kilometer away, making shopping and dining very convenient. The breakfast offers a wide variety of delicious options; it was quite busy during my holiday stay, with most tables full. I booked late and the hotel was fully booked, so I had to wait until the second day to get an available room. It's a highly recommended hotel, and I've already recommended it to many friends."

"Ive just left the Inn and on the train to the next destination. I wish I could stay longer as this was such a pleasant stay. The boss lady was so nice. I booked just a basic room but got upgraded to almost a studio flat with separate bedroom in the mezzanine and lounge downstairs. Everytime I come back from sightseeing, all hot tired, the boss lady gave me a bowl of delicious melons. It was sweet and juicy. The best melons I have had. The second time she also gave me bananas. It was so much needed. The hotel is in the perfect location. Thank you for a wonderful stay. 1. From Datongnan station there are buses 608 or 61 which takes you directly to Huayansi stop, less than 1min from the hotel. However, the hotel frontage is a jewelry shop, I didn't know so ended up walking up/down the street for 10mins before the boss lady realised and came out to tell me I have arrived. 2. If you want to go to Yungang Grottoes. From the same bus stop take bus 38, then change to bus 3 to get to the Grottoes. Journey time about an hour in total. And cost 4RMB (2RMB per bus). However, you have to set up some kind of public travel app from Wechat to get the QR code to pay the bus fare. I didn't know this. Fortunately, some nice people helped pay my fare, then another lovely girl helped set up the app enabling me to use the bus from then as when I arrived and took the bus from the train station to hotel Wechatpay didn't work. Fortunately the driver let me ride for free as I guess he realised Im foreign and don't have this app. Only when I took the bus to Yungang Grottoes, the girl told me I need to set up the travel app etc and helped me set it up. 3. The hotel is also right opposite to the Huayan temple. A beautiful ancient temple. Deffo can't be missed. "What a pleasant surprise this stay was! (´▽`) The location is excellent, right next to the district government and very close to the ancient city, making it super convenient for getting around. There's a delicious knife-cut noodle place nearby that opens at 6:30 AM, and the Tangjiu convenience store next door also opens early. The first floor has a lovely book bar where you can borrow books for free, and they serve coffee and cocktails – perfect for enjoying a drink while reading. So many interesting books too! I also really loved their decor; the tatami mat rooms have a dedicated reading table, and the mattress was incredibly comfortable. The disposable amenities were comprehensive, and that horse oil toiletries set left me feeling moisturized inside and out (in a good way!). What really stood out during my stay were the front desk ladies. They were all so wonderful, always greeting us warmly when we returned. Their service was incredibly attentive and so heartwarming! 🥺 Any request we had was met quickly. Thanks to them, I've been sleeping so well these past few days 555. I really don't want to leave! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Datong. I've already highly recommended it to all my friends! (￣∇￣)"

"Great location, right next to a bus stop, and across from the Financial City. It seems to be a converted office building, sharing the same structure with the Beiweijiayan restaurant. As a newly opened hotel, the facilities and environment are very modern, and the service is exceptionally warm. They proactively called to confirm an early check-in and even upgraded my room. My room faced a main road but was surprisingly quiet. It was very spacious, with a comfortable and well-proportioned square layout. For a hotel in this price range, it's definitely next level. Two suggestions: The hot water system in the bathroom seemed a bit unstable; the water pressure fluctuated when hot, and there was a noticeable metallic smell from the pipes. This should be looked into. Also, the operations team seems overly eager to collect positive reviews. I received requests for reviews during check-in, check-out, and again that same afternoon. This can be an unpleasant experience for guests, and I suggest finding other ways to encourage feedback."

"“Ji Xia Shan” (literally, “Below the Mountain”) is tucked away in a quiet corner of Datong's ancient city. Push open the courtyard gate, and the hustle and bustle instantly fade away. It simply filters out the noise for you, leaving behind the ancient city's true essence – and your true self. Checking in here is truly arriving."

"暑假帶孩子來大同玩，在網上看到了，之前也多次住過温德姆，所以就訂了。雖然是新開的酒店，但是味道很小，可以忽略，設施齊全，停車方便。出現了一些小的問題，前台孫菡主動協調，也都及時妥善解決。總的來説很滿意，超值的體驗。"
