"We are a group of 12 Malaysian who spent 5 days 4 Nights at Tengchong. The lady boss - 素素 is very nice and friendly. The hotel provided airport transfer and was picked up by the lady boss personally. Rooms are big and with all amenities. Location of the hotel is also quite convenient. Nearby a lot of local restaurants. Right opposite the hotel is the bus station where we could book or charter bus to travel back to KunMing. Front desk staffs were very friendly and helpfully. Breakfast is delicious. The hotel could arrange for our local tour to TengChong and 芒市 tour at a very reasonable package tour."

"This hotel was the best one I stayed at during my 10-day trip to Yunnan. From the moment I arrived, I felt truly at home. When I checked in at the front desk, the staff immediately offered me hot flower tea. They thoughtfully informed me about the rooftop hot spring's opening hours and enthusiastically recommended local delicacies. They even brought the afternoon tea, which we had missed, to our room, really showcasing the excellent service in Tengchong. After checking in, we went to the restaurant recommended by the front desk and then enjoyed the rooftop hot spring. The hot spring water was incredibly comfortable – my body doesn't lie! That night, I slept soundly and deeply, and my skin felt so smooth and improved. In the evening, the front desk sent up two bowls of tremella soup. Another heartwarming gesture! On the day of checkout, the front desk staff kindly asked if we had breakfast and even gave us a souvenir when we left. If my itinerary hadn't been pre-arranged, I would have definitely stayed an extra day in Tengchong just for this hotel."

"Tengchong Boyun Inn was an absolute delight! Our experience was top-notch. We stayed in a rooftop room which offered incredible views and came with its own outdoor private hot spring – so relaxing to soak in at night. From the terrace, you could overlook the entire Heshun ancient town; the scenery was expansive and truly healing. At night, with all the town lights twinkling, the atmosphere was just magical. The front desk staff and the owner were wonderful, very gentle, polite, and welcoming. They patiently explained local attractions, historical anecdotes, and recommended great places to eat and must-see spots. The shuttle driver helped with our luggage the whole way and provided thoughtful pick-up and drop-off service – truly attentive and heartwarming. The room was clean and comfortable, the environment peaceful and relaxing. We had a comfortable and worry-free stay. I highly recommend this inn when visiting Heshun Ancient Town!"

"The newly opened Wyndham is fantastic, with a fresh decor and great facilities. The restaurant was a pleasant surprise – really delicious and reasonably priced. I'd definitely recommend trying it if you're staying here. The public hot springs have five pools open, each with different benefits and temperatures, all carbonated. Worth a try! The gym is also spacious, with brand new, professional-grade equipment. The only minor drawback is that the front desk staff's training seems inconsistent. First, I called to ask about turndown service, and one front desk agent flat-out said they don't offer it. A little while later, a different agent called me back to say they do. 😓 It feels like their internal training isn't quite up to par, or at least some of the front desk staff aren't professional enough. When I checked in, they mentioned a spa center. I asked for a spa menu, and the staff member thought I wanted the Chinese restaurant menu. 😅 Later, they told me the 'spa center' doesn't actually offer any spa treatments, just the hot springs and pool."

"Tengchong ｜ Private Tang Hot Spring ♨️ Just arrived in Tengchong this morning, the weather is particularly good ～ is too cold! I arrived at the hotel too early to check in. The front desk lady said that the room was full and no one checked out, but I opened a spare room for me. It’s not too intimate.🤝 First of all, the private soup brought by the Amway room! The pool is very beautiful and much larger than expected. It is really cool to supply hot springs 24 hours in the hotel. Tengchong Hot Spring Freedom is realized without leaving the hotel. The housekeeper will give a fruit plate and some snacks (the fruits in Yunnan are really sweet). The most important thing is to attach the Tengchong tour map. 🗺️ For the first time I came to Tengchong, I was too practical. ✌️ After visiting Heshun Ancient Town, I returned to the hotel to rest and enjoy the hot spring. It was wonderful. The large floor-to-ceiling windows of the room have a good view. You can sit in the room for a whole day without going out. Recently, the temperature difference between morning and evening in Tengchong is particularly large, but the hotel is equipped with air conditioning and floor heating. "I stayed for three nights. The hotel is nestled in a beautiful, tranquil valley. The staff are incredibly well-trained; every single person was warm and polite. The rooms are individual villas, designed in the Huizhou architectural style, with the gentle sway of bamboo outside (though the exterior materials look a bit dated). The hot spring bath was excellent too; it filled up in just 7 minutes, which was a real time-saver. Breakfast was extensive and the ingredients were fresh, but the 'Tu Guo Zi' (clay pot dish) for dinner was very average. Special shoutout to Cai, the young man at the front desk, who was very service-oriented. He responded promptly to all my requests. Thumbs up!👍"

Upon arriving in Ginkgo Village, we booked the Jubing Hot Spring Inn. While a bit pricey, it was a fantastic value. Although newly renovated, it didn't feel like a renovation. The room was spotlessly clean, fully equipped, and the bedding was my favorite white color—very classy and comfortable. There's a large bathhouse with hot springs, which was incredibly relaxing. There are two ginkgo trees in the courtyard. Perhaps we arrived a little early, so the leaves hadn't yet turned yellow, but that didn't detract from the beauty. It was perfect for photos and a photo opportunity, and the scenery was stunning! The owner was especially welcoming and attentive, and the breakfast included was delicious. I had a fantastic experience and was completely satisfied!

The ancient town of Heshun is absolutely gorgeous, and we stayed at Leyin Inn, which has received zero negative reviews. Leyin Inn has a superb location, right next to the Wanlouzi Residents' Museum, and right next to Hua Jie's Private Kitchen (opposite Hua Jie's is a small, unassuming shop run by elderly folks serving incredibly delicious home-style dishes). The innkeeper sent someone to pick us up and take us into the ancient town for free. After we bought tickets with our ID cards (valid for seven days, which was a great deal since I bought my boat tickets at the same time), they drove us all the way to the hotel parking lot. Keep in mind that Heshun Ancient Town has many ups and downs, and the ground is paved with bricks, making it difficult to push luggage around. The innkeeper kindly helped us with our luggage. We booked a private hot spring room, which was great value for money. The original hot spring water from Rehai was brought over, and we told the innkeeper they would come and fill it with water. Our child and the other children staying at the inn had a great time. We only booked one night, and they even gave us a free ride to the bus station. The service was truly excellent. We'll definitely stay at Leyin Inn again next time we visit Heshun Ancient Town.

The most satisfying two nights in Yunnan, I am more used to staying in hotels, but Fengli B&B is indeed the right choice! Location: The taxi positioning is accurate. Behind the official hotel, there is a very quiet homestay area, and takeaways can be delivered. Environment: clean, warm, emotional, willing to work hard in the details, sincerity is the boss's hospitality, every time I meet, I will greet you warmly ～ Facilities: The twin room has a large space, the bedding is super comfortable, the pillows kill most hotels in seconds, the central air-conditioning ＋ wall-mounted air-conditioning, and the toiletries are dreamed back to college time in one second. Weight scales, sewing boxes, nail clippers, floss, masks, earplugs, etc. are available! There are two washing machines and one dryer in the common area, which can be used by self-service. Service: Drinking water, soda, snacks, fruit are all provided free of charge. Breakfast is served in the small restaurant with sour seeds and sugar. There are freshly cooked bait silk and rice noodles. The coffee is delicious! Please ask the boss to arrange a car drop-off in advance, and received a warm souvenir on the day of departure.～ Because the itinerary is tight, we basically leave early and return late, and we have not been able to experience the slow life of the homestay, but it does not affect my determination to strongly recommend Fengli!

This trip was with my sister and niece! The guesthouse was conveniently located near the scenic area entrance, making it easy to get in and out! Because it was at the end of a small alley, the environment was quiet, conducive to rest! The host personally picked up and dropped off our luggage at the scenic area entrance! Breakfast was healthy and delicious every day! We ordered the rice noodles in soup every day! They were very responsive to guests' requests! Finally, I'd like to suggest they be a little more proactive in their service!

Having visited Tengchong three times, this is the best value hotel I've ever stayed at. From the hotel's decor and facilities to the service, everything is top-notch, and the price is very reasonable! It's especially suitable for family trips. The suite we stayed in was cozy and comfortable; it truly felt like ”coming home,” so pleasant and warm. 1. Facilities: The room had a private soaking tub and underfloor heating. Staying there in autumn and winter, especially when the ginkgo leaves turn golden, was incredibly comfortable. A hot soak instantly warmed me up and relieved all my fatigue. 2. Cleanliness: The cleanliness was impeccable. Being a new hotel, the attention to detail was excellent, absolutely impeccable. 3. Service: Every butler was exceptionally warm and attentive, providing professional and thoughtful service. The owner even personally monitored the service in the group chat, which was fantastic! A special shout-out to our butler, Xiao Tang! During our three-day chartered car trip, he was not only incredibly helpful and attentive, answering all our questions, but also proactively took photos for us and recommended daily attractions. He even scouted out locations beforehand, guiding us to avoid crowds and allowing us to see absolutely stunning and photogenic ginkgo trees. He was incredibly reliable! Furthermore, my brother and I are always forgetful, and he patiently helped us contact and find things for us. We are extremely grateful. 4. Living Environment: The neighborhood is quiet, the environment is green, and the air is fresh. We slept exceptionally well and soundly at night. We'll definitely come back next time!

The location is fantastic, very close to all the city attractions, and it's super convenient for taxis and food delivery. Since it's located inside a villa complex, it's also very quiet at night. We came with elders and kids and booked a family room on the ground floor with a yard. We could sunbathe in the yard in the afternoon, and there was even a osmanthus tree that was still blooming in December – it smelled amazing! The owner is incredibly welcoming and helpful, offering recommendations for attractions and dining spots, and even paying attention to the kids' needs, which was really great. On our departure day, our flight was quite early, and we were worried about missing breakfast. The owner specifically asked the cook to prepare breakfast earlier for us so we could have a hot meal before heading to the airport. We couldn't book a hot spring room this time, but we'll definitely try it on our next visit!

Stayed in the ancient town for four nights. The location of the homestay is very convenient next to the large parking lot in the ancient town. The bathroom has a drying hot air and floor heating. It is comfortable to use a dyson hair dryer, with a large bathtub, and dry and wet separation. The overall service of the homestay is particularly good. There is also a housekeeper to pick up the parking lot in the middle of the night. In the morning, there is an aunt who prepares to pack corn sweet potatoes and egg snacks for us in advance. The aunts are very friendly and dry our clothes and put them back in the room. The boss brother and Miss Sister are also very intimate to recommend a variety of food and hot springs (Lotus Hot Spring). The overall stay is very worry-free, five points praise 💗

The room was quite spacious, but the bathroom facilities were a bit outdated. It's located on the edge of the ancient town, a bit far from the main area, so it's not recommended for elderly people with mobility issues. It's fine for young people, and you can even take a walk around Wild Duck Lake. The hot springs were okay, but perhaps because we went during the off-season, there were only two pools available, so the experience wasn't great when it was crowded. I highly recommend the nearby ”Mama's Taste” restaurant – it's incredibly delicious!
