"This was a truly secure stay! The most impressive aspect was the hotel's shuttle service. They picked us up for check-in, took us to the attractions, and then brought us back to the hotel afterwards. When I felt unwell due to altitude sickness, they immediately arranged a transfer to the town hospital. Of course, all of this wouldn't have been possible without the excellent coordination of the butlers. I'm incredibly grateful to all the hotel staff. Despite their young faces and perhaps less 'seasoned' approach, they were still meticulous and accommodating, and their genuine sincerity was palpable. I've included a few photos of the hotel. Everything was simply wonderful. Wishing everyone safety and a better life ahead!"

"The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. It was my first time at such a high altitude, and they offered lots of great advice and even gave me several glucose shots, which was a thoughtful touch. I didn't experience any altitude sickness at all during my stay. This hotel must be the closest to Cat's Nose Ridge, and if you're lucky, you can even catch a glimpse of all four peaks of Siguniang Mountain from here!"

"The B&B is located inside the Shuangqiaogou Scenic Area. You can just flag down a park shuttle in front of the B&B, but not every shuttle will stop. The best part is that a one-day ticket allows you to visit for two days. The room itself is quite nice and very clean. Being at an altitude of 3300 meters is perfect for acclimatizing to high altitude sickness, and there's an oxygen machine in the room, which is a huge comfort for those prone to altitude sickness."

"I specifically went to walk the 'little road' again and see Mount Siguniang. Mount Siguniang is absolutely stunning! It was well worth the trip! The hotel has its own parking lot behind it. I arrived in the evening, and just a few minutes' walk up from the hotel, I found a yak hotpot restaurant – it was incredibly comfortable and delicious! The hotel offers a buffet breakfast; although the variety isn't huge, it's nutritionally balanced and plenty to go around."

"Decided to visit Mount Siguniang at the last minute, and this hotel, which I booked blindly, was a pleasant surprise! The location is excellent; you can see the mountain views right from your window. The room is spacious, the central air conditioning works well, and the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. The oxygen supply equipment is quiet and not noisy at all, which is a huge plus for high-altitude travel. The hygiene is meticulous, and it offers great value for money. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Shuangqiao Valley."

"I originally booked a queen room, but the owner upgraded us to a twin room so we could see the street view, which was really nice of them! As someone with social anxiety, it was a huge relief. The owner felt like a friendly and genuine local. There's no elevator, but the owner helped us with our luggage, they were truly amazing. Even though it's a guesthouse, it felt more like a hotel in terms of standards; it was very clean and much better than I expected. Most importantly, the room was toasty warm, it had that sunny scent, and felt very safe. There's a restaurant downstairs, and breakfast is free. I especially recommend their yak meat hotpot, it's incredibly fresh and the soup is genuinely delicious. My friend and I couldn't even finish it all, the portions are very generous. Eating that in winter was so warming, it was a truly great experience. I was really touched by how kind the owner was 😭"

As soon as we arrived, we took the initiative to teach us to use a humidifier and an oxygen generator, and also changed our oxygen tank for free. "The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, with rooms offering direct views of the snow-capped mountains. You can take a leisurely stroll around the hotel and discover some truly stunning scenery, including opportunities to witness the 'Golden Mountain in Sunlight' phenomenon. The room amenities are also superb, featuring underfloor heating, a humidifier, and an oxygen concentrator. A special mention must go to the owner and staff, whose service is outstanding; they even arranged transportation for us. This hotel offers incredible value for money and comes highly recommended!"

"Overall This was an absolutely stunning stay — one of the best I've experienced, and it truly blew us away. We had a balcony room with a breathtaking view of the mountains. The resort is run by a warm couple and a team of locals who were wonderfully attentive and helpful, arranging our transportation from Chengdu to their doorstep and back. The food was exceptional — wholesome, nourishing and deeply local. The dinner hotpot hit the spot on a cold night, and breakfast was healthy and energising — exactly what you need before a long day of hiking. The room itself was spectacular; waking up to pine trees dusted with snow and a clear mountain view was something else. On a clear night, you could stargaze from the balcony and melt into the rocking chair. Simply blissful and a good escape from the city life. Highly recommend NPS 10. 🏨 Room — 10/10 Great layout, comfortable bed, a warm toilet seat on a cold morning, spacious, and most importantly — a stunning view. The hotel is relatively new, having opened in 2025 according to the owners. 🧹 Cleanliness — 10/10 Spotless throughout. All common areas were new and well kept. 👋 Staff Friendliness & Responsiveness — 10/10 The couple who run the place are genuinely lovely — always on hand to ensure you have a great stay. Responsive over WeChat to help coordinate logistics ahead of the trip, and they'll drop you at the entrance of the main hiking sites. Other staff were equally helpful. The primary language is Chinese, but they are patient and a translation app works perfectly fine. 📍 Location — 9/10 A 10-minute drive from both Changping and Shuangqiao valleys. Not much in the immediate surroundings — quaint little farms, grazing cows, and steep hills that will test anyone not yet acclimatised. 🍽️ Food & Drink — 9/10 The hotpot on both nights was incredibly nourishing and full of flavour, featuring a variety of local wild vegetables and mushrooms. There is also a stir-fry menu with a solid selection of local dishes, though we stuck to the hotpot both evenings. 🌅 View/Scenery — 11/10 Snowcapped peaks and beautiful pine forests as far as the eye can see (visited in April). I could have sat and stared out the window all day. 🏃 Activities & Surroundings — 10/10 The mountains and hiking trails are the main draw here — and honestly, the only activity you'll ever need. Shuangqiao is absolutely gorgeous and you could spend a whole day there if you like to hike(instead of just taking the bus). Changping is more for hikers, no bus service with a different charm, I love it more cause it was less touristy. The immediate area is quiet — everything you need is within the hotel itself. Stock up on essentials in the city, or check with staff ahead of time if there's anything specific you need. It's a hillside town, four hours from Chengdu."
