"Compared to when it first opened six years ago, the transportation is much more convenient now – the road in front has been repaired, and the lobby has added a special tea bar area and a children's play area. The hotel courtyard now connects to the scenic walking trail next door, making it livelier, but also less tranquil. For the same price, six years ago you could get an unobstructed view room with a bathtub; now you have to pay an extra 200 [yuan/local currency unit] for that. The self-built houses next door now block most of the view. However, the top-floor hot spring and sauna still offer a complete view of the Yingxi Peak Forest. Given that the overall economic environment hasn't improved compared to six years ago, I feel the value for money has decreased significantly. Indeed, it's true that 'nothing is as good as the first time'… It's okay, but I probably won't be coming back."

"The biggest surprise of this trip! Yunqi Moye perfectly embodies the idea of a 'pastoral retreat.' The lobby is beautifully designed, and with farmland and peak forests right outside the window, it feels like living inside a painting. The room was spacious and spotless! The infinity pool on the fourth floor reflects the mountain scenery; it's so beautiful I didn't want to leave, and it's an amazing spot to watch the sunset. The complimentary afternoon tea and breakfast were both delicious. It's very close to nearby attractions and activities, and the nearby Shan Kala Ka Coffee Camp even offers paddleboarding and BBQ. I'm planning to bring friends back again this summer!"

"The hotel is located on 'Swan Lake' which made for pretty photos from our room balcony. The rooms were clean and spacious, with bottled water replaced every day. There was a fridge, but no mini bar. It was very quiet when we stayed, it seemed like tour groups came for 1 night then left the next The attractions the other side of the lake was fun. We loved the glass bridge and the motorboats as well as the bumper cars and road train. You will need to pay extra for some of the attractions, but at a minimal cost. The cave was amazing, and the lighting helps with the atmosphere. Our guide spoke in Mandarin, but this didn't hinder our enjoyment, plus other tourists were happy to translate 😀. There was lots of choice at breakfast, but it didn't really change from one day to the next. I rekindled my love of boiled peanuts! The hot springs were indeed hot, but they were a little rundown, with some of the spa areas not working. Over all, We had a lovely stay. The staff were friendly and helpful."

"I was really satisfied with this hotel. The environment is simply fantastic, like a mini Yangshuo! You can just relax and enjoy your vacation here. I've already recommended it to my friends. It's also very close to the tea factory, which makes sightseeing really convenient. I stayed for three days and honestly didn't want to leave. My only regret is that it's a bit far from Foshan, otherwise I'd visit more often. The rice noodles at breakfast were delicious, and there were plenty of activities for kids. They even have a fireworks show at night!"

"This pet-friendly B&B was worth the visit, even on a rainy day (the front desk even gave my little dog a welcome gift – pee pads, poop bags, and protective spray, all very useful!). Before arrival, the front desk attendant contacted me with parking directions, local attraction tips, and restaurant recommendations. Since it was raining, I decided to have dinner at the B&B's restaurant. The steamed sea bass was absolutely delicious! Plus, a friendly cat joined me for dinner, haha. The B&B's pool is quite large and the water is very clean; swimming in it was incredibly relaxing. Our room was in a Japanese tatami style, clean and odor-free. And for the southern climate, having dry and fresh bedding in the room is so important! After dinner, I took a stroll around the B&B. The surrounding green, rolling, misty hills were truly breathtaking. This is definitely a place I'd visit again."

"The service of Qihu Hotel was very considerate. They upgraded me to two lake view rooms for free and also gave me free fruits. The hotel room was also very nice, clean and tidy. When we checked out, the front desk staff helped us carry our luggage to the parking lot, and also gave us tea and several bottles of water for us to drink during the trip. A very good experience! Must praise + recommend!"

"I stayed at the Chocolate Kingdom Hotel in mid-October. At that time, some facilities were already showing their age and seemed a bit neglected, and there were fewer staff members. However, I truly felt their dedication in every service they provided; their excellent service more than made up for any shortcomings in the hardware. We had a hot spring package. The hot springs were less crowded during the day and more so at night, so it was good to go at off-peak times. The package also included two-day tickets to Chocolate Wonderland, and at that time, there was a shuttle cart service. When I went back in December, the shuttle was gone, so I want to warn fellow travelers that if you're not driving yourself, think very carefully before booking, as it's a 20-minute walk from the park to the hotel. But since there was a shuttle service in October, and I genuinely felt their dedication in every service, I'm giving a good review for that stay. For December, I'd give a bad review."

"Warmth from check-in to check-out! The front desk proactively offered hot tea and local tips. The room was incredibly soundproof, and even the bathroom corners were spotless. They even offered pillows of different firmness. At check-out, they thoughtfully helped pack breakfast. This level of care truly touched me, and it's already on my list for a return stay! The front desk lady was beautiful and kind, with a sweet smile."

"I had a weekend getaway at this hotel. Even though it was a busy weekend, the cabin area was beautifully enclosed and spacious enough to give a complete sense of privacy and relaxation. The getaway was fantastic! The view from the balcony was simply unforgettable, surrounded by a peaceful and harmonious bamboo forest, making the air feel healing. The service was excellent, and the breakfast was especially delicious, setting a great tone for the whole day. Plus, it's pet-friendly, which made us so happy to bring our furry friends along! Even better, the hotel offers complimentary kayaking, and there's a large outdoor hot tub right by the cabin where we could add hot water ourselves – it was incredibly comfortable, making us never want to leave. As a foreigner who doesn't speak Chinese, I was amazed and pleased by how patient the staff were; they always found a way to communicate with me. There were no language barriers affecting my experience; instead, it made me feel incredibly well-cared for. Overall, the value for money here is outstanding, far exceeding the price. With beautiful surroundings, great service, rich experiences, and being pet-friendly, it's rare to find such an affordable yet luxurious vacation experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to relax and enjoy nature!"
