"Our stay at this hotel during our recent Siargao trip was truly a wonderful and memorable experience. "I am happy to recommend Fat Lips Surf Lodge as a great place to stay in Siargao. The location is excellent—situated along Tourism Road in General Luna and conveniently close to popular spots such as AFAM Bridge (Catangnan Bridge), Catangnan BBQ, Shaka Café, and Cloud 9. It is also within easy reach of many of Siargao’s well-known restaurants, cafés, and tourist attractions. The place itself is cozy, aesthetic, and surrounded by lush greenery, creating a relaxing tropical atmosphere. The rooms are air-conditioned, and I was especially impressed by how clean and fresh the sheets and linens were. Having a private balcony overlooking the greenery was a wonderful bonus. Everything about the stay was smooth, hassle-free, and well-organized. Guests also have access to a shared kitchen, which is very convenient if you prefer to prepare or cook your own meals. One thoughtful touch that stood out was that they provide a coffee press along with freshly ground coffee beans for guests to enjoy—perfect for starting the day in a peaceful setting. Most importantly, the host was incredibly helpful, accommodating, and responsive throughout my stay, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. Overall, Fat Lips Surf Lodge offers great value, comfort, convenience, and a welcoming atmosphere. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Siargao."

"The most I love with Flo is the Clean Bathroom, I've been to a lot of a hotels 4-5 stars but only jere in Floe where I didn't hesitate to use the bathroom barefoot. I wasn't able to took a picture of it. Also, the aircon on the other room can use some upgrades. The wifi Connection is way to slow, I needed to go to a resto or coffee shop so I can work. But overall it's worth the price."

"The place is nice… cozy looking and the service are great. New resort and everybody seems to still getting used to the service. No receptionist at night. We had to check out early due to our flight changes and left 5:00am the front desk is not open and the no place to return my key but had to leave it in the room.. the breakfast option is not much. Hopefully next time there are more options and the phone in the room. The guy who cleans around is nice. He is always willing to help. Could improve more but it’s a great place to be, only 9 minutes to secret beach, and malinao skate road, 30 minutes to cloud 9, 1 half hour to North/ Pacifico.. Not a busy street so you’re going to have a relaxing night of sleep. Gas station is just right around the corner."

"Rucksack is the biggest Hostel in Siargao, it offers private rooms for couple, family or group traveller and Dormitory Type rooms for Solo Traveller like me. Dormitory bed is comfortable with thick Hotel bedding, ventilation is very cool. Price is also great specially if you are budget conscious . Rucksack has its own Pool, Restaurant and Bar. Plus activities for guests every night. You will definitely enjoy your stay."

"Service: The hotel staff are very nice and polite Environment: The location is not at the beach, there are no shops around, it is relatively remote. There is a chicken coop next to it. It is really noisy and sleep will be affected. Hygienic: Everything else is very clean, but the bathroom is dark and humid It is better at about 500 on a budget, overall ok. Suitable for two nights not suitable for long stay"

"Cozy sort of homely hotel. Unfortunately in need of a bit of renovation, mainly the bathroom, ants and mosquitoes came in to the room. It’s located a short bike ride from where everything happens which is good. And they have a free water and coffee station. No cleaning of the room for the 5 nights we stayed there but got clean towels when we asked for it."

"All the staff were really nice except for that one transgender lady there that sometimes would run events. She doesn’t smile or say hi to everyone and would sometimes roll her eyes for no reason at all. But besides that, the place has got to be the best hostel to stay in if you’re looking to socialize and make new friends."

"Title: A Home Away from Home at Dahun Villa I recently had the pleasure of staying at Dahun Villa, and it was an unforgettable experience. The villa boasts a serene atmosphere and a unique architecture that utilizes indigenous materials, allowing it to blend seamlessly with the beautiful surroundings of Siargao. What truly made our stay exceptional, however, were the gracious owners and their attentive staff. The German owner was able to connect with my fiancé on a personal level, while the local owner shared our passion for sports, such as freediving. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel right at home, and they even went above and beyond by introducing us to their friends who are business owners in Siargao. Dahun Villa's immaculate rooms and facilities were another highlight of our stay, providing the perfect space to unwind and recharge. Their adorable little ”Peter Parker” kiddo also brought a delightful energy to the place. Our experience at Dahun Villa not only inspired us to explore more of Siargao's beauty but also to consider setting up our own business to prolong our stay on this enchanting island. The connections we made with local business owners during our stay will be invaluable as we pursue this dream.
