"When we arrived at the hotel, the staff were already waiting and helped carry our bags from the car into the hotel. Although language was a barrier, communication was easy with the help of a translation app. The hotel has a lift. The room facilities were very clean and comfortable. The mattress was very soft, and the heater worked well. The hotel is close to many restaurants and convenience stores."

"Came to Yading and it was totally worth it. The hotel was great, stayed for 2 nights straight.
The hotel is about two kilometers from the main street, which makes it very quiet and ensures a good night's sleep in the high-altitude environment. They even have oxygen machines; one person in our group, who was suffering from altitude sickness, found great relief using it. The hotel also has a restaurant, and the dry-pot cauliflower and stir-fried pork were both delicious. The staff were incredibly enthusiastic; as soon as our car arrived, several handsome guys and beautiful ladies helped us carry our luggage into the lobby and warmly offered us warm water. We needed extra slippers and toothbrushes for our three-person occupancy, and any request was promptly delivered by a ******* gentleman with just one phone call. A truly excellent experience."

"The hotel is a standalone building with a convenient parking lot right at the entrance. It was very quiet at night, and since it's not at a high altitude, I slept wonderfully. There's a supermarket right outside the hotel, and plenty of restaurants within a short walk. The landlady was very welcoming and gave us lots of useful tips for the scenic spots. Highly recommend!"

"The environment here is lovely, and check-in was thoughtful and efficient. They helped with my luggage as soon as I got out of the car and even provided local tips. The hotel breakfast was delicious with a decent variety of options. They also offer complimentary late-night congee, which is a nice touch. This hotel offers excellent value for money. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful. They even measured my blood oxygen, guided me to the oxygen bar, and explained all the precautions. They dried my laundry late at night and delivered it right to my room door. Truly considerate service!"

"酒店看起來就是新裝修的，當時很怕有味道，但是一進大廳很吸引我，裝修很獨特，也沒有任何的異味，看出來老闆很用心了，是我喜歡的風格，房間一進門就看到很新，很乾凈，包括床墊睡起來很舒服，房間也不吵，早餐也很豐富～
服務：酒店幾乎都是藏族的服務員，當時在理塘的服務員態度都不是很好，但是這家看出來真的有好好培訓，服務態度超級好，我房間多拿東西也很快送過來，

"Must give Tashi Daji Starry Sky Hotel a five-star praise. At check-in, the front desk was very warm, from the play to the route to the travel details, the whole process was the intimate reception of the beautiful boss. We asked about the way to take a taxi to the scenic spot. The boss directly said that there was no need to take a taxi. He personally sent us there early on the second day. He also reminded us of the time to play and the return fare. He also recommended delicious restaurants for us. The hotel opened this year. The room is clean and tidy, the facilities are perfect, and the mountain view room has a great view. There are a lot of parking spaces in the underground three-story parking lot. The boss treats people really warmly and takes care of them throughout the whole process. I really recommend everyone to stay."

MMhh_My family and I stayed at this hotel during our trip to Daocheng Yading, and the service was genuinely superb! The owner proactively contacted me, arranging for us to store our luggage at his friend's hotel and park our car there free of charge. He then personally drove us in his private car, moving our bags to our actual hotel. He also connected us with his friend who secured a 10% discount on our entrance tickets. When we checked in that evening, he even helped set up the oxygen supply and carried our luggage upstairs. This was truly 'nanny-level' service – incredibly attentive and beyond expectations! Later that evening, they even gave us a discount on the yak hotpot dinner without us having to ask. We absolutely loved it! Free trekking poles were also provided.

Kkenny1I highly recommend this hotel if you are planning to visit Yading National Park. The owner is very friendly and gave good recommendations to prepare for the hike. Hence, we were very well prepared and managed to hike the entire long and short route in one day. The hotel supplies oxygen 10yuan, raincoat 10yuan and hiking pole 15yuan at a very reasonable price. The hotel is also close to eateries and a convenience store.
If you are a foreigner this place will make you feel like home. Overall a very good stay and the owner was so accommodating. We will definitely be back soon.

GGuest UserThe location of the HomeStay is excellent. It is located at the end of the street of a quieter corner away from the busy street.
Just a short walk you will have access to many eateries and shops.
The interior decoration is uniquely furnished with ******* style design transporting us into a real local ******* family home without the need to be physically in Tibet.
The Owner of the HomeStay is very friendly and helpful. He introduced us to ******* culture and explained the significance of Animals painting on the wall and how it translates into daily life. Animals consisted of Elephant, Monkey, Rabbit and Bird.
He also made us their fragrance 酥油茶 suyou cha which is good to counter Altitude sickness 高反。
Cat is also a sacred animal in ******* culture.
The price of the HomeStay is very reasonable with the excellent location and service. It has free laundry service, however you need to hang them dry in an outdoor clothes line. It will dry quickly as the weather is very dry/sunny.
I would highly recommend this HomeStay to everyone who likes to go to Daocheng Yading.
Lastly, I would like to thank the Owner and his Sister for making our stay an enjoyable one.

Room with lot of space with electric blanket and very comfortable heater. We have good night sleep at this hotel after long trekking day.

GGuest UserLocation is great, in the center of Riwa. There are many restaurants and shops nearby. Only 10minutes to the entrance of Yading.
Staff are helpful. They can speak a bit of English. Foreigners are accepted.
The room is ok but there is always smoking smell in the room (maybe from the room nextdoor)

GGuest UserThis is probably the best hotel in Shangri-La. The rooms are clean and hygienic, and they offer a post-hike foot massage. The front desk agent, Xiaolin, was very friendly and attentive, even helping me order oxygen tanks. I absolutely had to order the medical-grade 58-yuan tank; other 20-30 yuan tanks wouldn't work. The 58-yuan tank is high-pressure pure oxygen, and a few deep puffs are incredibly effective when I have a headache. I used four tanks and it worked flawlessly. Milk Lake is 5,500 meters above sea level, a nearly 20-kilometer round trip. With only 120 tickets available per day, I only managed to avoid the 8-kilometer round trip. Unless you arrive at the scenic area by 7 a.m., you'll never get a ticket. A must-have for hiking!

NNYimpressionThis hotel has a peaceful atmosphere, in town Daocheng. Not far from the dance square. You can walk 25-30 minutes from bus station during daytime (at night recommend Taxi). The hotel is only one block near the river and you can walk to the White Tower.
The hotel has a friendly staff, her name Tan Hongli (please use translator app to communicate in Chinese). She can assist you and always care for all client inhouse.
The room is large with tea reception area at window. Warm and comfort bed, hot shower is immediate when need.
I would recommend friends to this hotel, and repeat.

CCHANONWe just need to stay overnight to take the morning flight in Daocheng. We arrived around 8pm, so didn't get to see much of the town.
Good points:
+ The hotel has elevator, which is helpful, even though a little old.
+ There is a supermarket opposite the hotel, so we could buy food for our next day breakfast as the rooms didn't come with breakfast.
+ The staff is very helpful in booking us a taxi the next morning to go to the airport.
+ The room we got has no cigarette smell
Improvement point:
- The hot shower was working, but the water pressure was low, so it's very hard to shower without getting cold.

IIvory PTingThe hotel is very close to Yading bus station, only 5 minutes walk and short stairs ( not difficult) But there's another way round to the hotel as well. Because Riwa village is small and pathways are connected.. All amenities are available and check in process is smooth and easy.
As Riwa village is very small, you can find many many food shops and super markets.
The only thing is you cannot WeChat with hotel. They don't use WeChat. But you can reach hotel from Amap app easily by searching ”Daocheng Yading Xiangya Shan Holiday Inn”. If you search Ivory mountain, you will not find it
