"Choosing this guesthouse for my Dongjiang Lake trip was such a great decision! Its location right by the Dongjiang River makes it super convenient to walk to the scenic area. My lake-view room offered stunning lake scenery right outside the window. I could wake up to the picturesque misty Dongjiang in the morning, and every photo I took was postcard-perfect. The room was spotless, and the bedding and bathroom facilities were high-quality, showing attention to detail everywhere. The concierge service was incredibly thoughtful; they arranged parking in advance and even provided a detailed travel guide. Enjoying a cup of tea on the guesthouse lawn, feeling the lake breeze, and watching the sparkling water was so relaxing I didn't want to leave. This guesthouse absolutely enhanced my Dongjiang Lake experience. Highly recommended!"

"The hotel was generally clean, but parking was limited, so I parked next door. When I went downstairs that evening, the hotel experienced a power outage – the first time I'd ever encountered this. The elevator was also out of power, so I couldn't go up. We had someone temporarily generate electricity, but the generator was very noisy at night, making it impossible to sleep. The most crucial problem was that due to the limited power, the air conditioning couldn't cool the room, leaving it at 30°C. I was sweltering all night, covered in sweat, and unable to sleep. I called the front desk, but they didn't offer me a fan or anything; they just said, ”That's how it is...” The next day, I was extremely drowsy. A truly terrible experience."

"Thinking of getting up early to go to Dongjiang Lake, I looked for accommodation nearby. I didn't expect to find such a good B&B. We drove here and contacted the front desk directly to ask about the parking lot. The B&B does not have its own parking lot, so we have to park in the museum's parking lot, but fortunately the fee is not high, 20 yuan for 24 hours.
As soon as we entered the lobby, we smelled the fragrance of sweet potatoes. The front desk warmly invited us to eat roasted sweet potatoes. The local sweet potatoes roasted on charcoal were so fragrant. Even if I had eaten, I wanted to have another fragrant and sweet sweet potato. The service was great.
The layout of the lobby is very Chinese style, and you can also drink local specialty tea. The key is that it is free, which is great value for money! Our room was on the second floor, and our luggage was a bit heavy, but luckily there was an elevator, which reduced our burden a lot. I originally thought that many services would be discounted because it was a mobile home, but here I felt a lot of warmth. The lake view room I stayed in was on the fourth floor with a wide view and a great view of the lake. See the attached picture. There is another inn next to it where you can order food and have free breakfast with our coupon. It is only 400 meters away from the small square of the ”Five Islands and One Village” resort next to Bailang Pier, which is convenient for eating and taking a boat. There are tables and chairs on the balcony, which are comfortable to sit on and are more conducive to viewing the lake and mountains. The room is very hygienic and all disposable toiletries are provided. The slight drawback is that the quilt is too thick, and the air conditioning effect is relatively insufficient, so I had to take out the cotton core and only cover it with the quilt cover to cool down.
