The cleanliness was extremely perfunctory; the hairdryer was covered in grime and stains, which was really off-putting and made me feel uneasy using it. I paid good money hoping for a comfortable and relaxing stay, but the overall experience was terrible. Both the facilities and hygiene were subpar. I absolutely do not recommend staying here and will not be returning."

"Loved the apartment - was big, bright and clean. Beds were extra comfy and the temprature control was excellent. Location was fab. Super close to the Olympic Sail Centre, May 4th Square and other touristy places can easily be accssed via metro. There is a 24hour Youke downstairs, super convenient. The view from our 37th floor was good. Only down side was housekeeping didnt clean our cups and bowls on the 2nd last day of our stay, even tho we put them in the sink. Also would be good to have some cutleries and extra glasses in the cabinets..."

The room size was decent, and the half-window wasn't a deal-breaker, but the worst part was the terrible soundproofing. A truly awful experience."

"10/10 for this hotel. It’s a Chinese hotel so most of the guests are Chinese. Some of the staff can’t speak English, but they are very helpful. They used translator machine explaining things to us. As we arrived in the evening, there was no quiet and far-from-elevator room left. However, they helped to upgrade us to sea-view room close to the small elevator instead. It turned to be the best experience to see the sea view every morning, and it was still quiet as there are only a few rooms on this side. The toilet is Japanese bidet style that you can even adjust the water temp and turn on the light IN the toilet bowl! They gave us fruits when we checked in and a box of crackers when checkout (it was the best!). All towels were sanitized and packed separately, and were replaced everyday.It’s only 50m max to metro and bus stations. Also, only ~550m to the sea. I would definitely stay at this hotel again for my next Qingdao visit!"

"I booked a 270-degree room, and upon arrival, they thoughtfully upgraded me to a special sea view king room, which significantly enhanced my sea-watching experience. The room was also several floors higher than what I originally booked, offering an excellent view! The cleaning lady was very warm and diligent; the room was spotless when I checked in. Although I didn't request cleaning during my stay, she'd ask every day if I needed anything cleaned and always replenished bottled water, tissues, and other consumables daily. The hotel's location is superb, making it easy to catch a taxi, bus, or subway. The beach is right across the street, and it's just a two-minute walk to the Third Bathing Beach. A ten-minute stroll along the coastal boardwalk leads to May Fourth Square, and you can easily walk to Badaguan and Taipingjiao Park. The Olympic Sailing Center, Lover's Dam, Yanner Island, Wheat Island, and Signal Hill are all within a few kilometers. Qingdao feels like a big park where you can relax just by walking a few steps, even if you don't visit the famous tourist spots; simply strolling around the neighborhood every day is delightful. Just be careful when crossing the street at crosswalks, as cars can drive quite fast at many intersections without traffic lights. There's so much delicious food, and the prices are fair; generally, any restaurant of a decent size is likely to serve good quality."
