The room was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. Service was prompt and efficient. The location is absolutely fantastic: a five-minute walk to the terminal, and you can even see the terminal from your room. Highly recommend for travelers arriving late or departing early."

2026 Asia 100 - Scenic Hotels"The experience at the Qingdao Haitian Hotel was fantastic! It's located right in the heart of the city, making it super convenient for getting around and sightseeing. The check-in at the front desk was warm and thorough; they even added me on WeChat, so any requests I had were answered immediately. My room had a magnificent view, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the stunning seascape. The room facilities were high-end and complete, and the toiletries were of excellent quality. The hotel amenities are superb, with a high-altitude observation deck and a sea-view pool that both offer an amazing atmosphere. The dining options were varied and delicious, and the staff's service was enthusiastic and attentive. Overall, the comfort level was outstanding – it's definitely a perfect choice for a vacation stay."

"The room isn't huge, but there's enough space. Overall, the experience was great. Being on the 28th floor, the view was incredible, offering an endless ocean panorama. At 200 yuan, it's excellent value for money. The reception service was very good, and the location is superb, right near May Fourth Square, making getting around super convenient. The metro station is just a short walk downstairs. The room was neat, clean, and odor-free. The bathroom is a bit small and doesn't have a wet/dry separation, but that's acceptable and might depend on personal preference. Overall, it's really good, and the value for money is outstanding."

No. 5 of 4-Star Select Hotels in Qingdao"I'm reviewing this quite strictly because it's priced the same as the five-star hotel next door.
The room and facilities are relatively new, spacious, and very clean. The linens were all comfortable to use. The location and view are also excellent.
Here are the downsides I'd like to highlight:
The design details of various facilities in the room are quite average. For example, the shower head on the wall couldn't be adjusted, so you had to hold it, and it took a long time for hot water to come out. It was nice that laundry detergent pods were provided with the washing machine, but there was nowhere in the entire room to hang clothes. I suggest adding a retractable clothesline in the shower room.
The room's air conditioning and ventilation system didn't work well. It felt stuffy and hot during the May Day holiday, and there was still a noticeable odor in the room, so I had to keep the windows open for ventilation throughout my stay.
The TV had no free channels, everything had to be paid for, but thankfully, I could cast from my phone.
The breakfast was probably on par with a three-star hotel and needs improvement."

No. 16 of Premium Hotels in Qingdao"Hotel is conveniently located near train station and 5 minutes walk to IZone mall where MUJI is located.
Front desks were always helpful.
The only amenities we used is the restaurant where we have breakfast. The only thing need mentioning is that they are closed on time. You are allowed to sit at the restaurant after 10am however no more access to food or even coffee which I think they should allow.
We stayed on the 26th floor. Nice view. It’s common knowledge that the Chinese love to smoke. I can smell cigarettes smokes coming from the ventilation into the room day and night.
The building is a little dated. The room I have, has been refurbished I believe."

"We booked a twin suite, which was perfect for our family with two kids. The 1.35-meter bed was plenty big for the grandparents and our little one. The breakfast, while simple, included freshly made wontons and noodles with three different topping choices. They even had shrimp every morning with different flavors, which was a great protein boost! My husband had to leave at 6:30 AM, and the hotel packed a generous breakfast for him – big thumbs up for that! The hotel is super close to the metro, just a five-minute walk, and it's a short taxi ride to attractions like Zhanqiao Pier, Naval Museum, and Wheat Island Park, which was very convenient. There's also a mall nearby. A special shout-out to 'Dashu' and 'Haio' at the front desk. Before we left, they gave our kids hermit crabs and fridge magnets. Highly recommended!"

"Nice clean quiet hotel, good room, nice bathroom, friendly and helpful staff, breakfast included was nice and restaurant staff very helpful. It is in the Qingdao old city, close to the metro station at both Qingdao Station and Zhongshan Road. It is close to the pier, to a good area with many beautiful things to see by night. It’s a short ride to Taidong for night food market and May 4 Square for seeing the skyscrapers lit up at night and the beautiful waterfront on a sunny day. This is a beautiful city. The hotel is especially good value."

No. 7 of Premium Hotels in Qingdao"Right next to the Shangri-La, and less than a 10-minute walk to MixC shopping mall. I stayed for 4 nights. As it's a new hotel, all the facilities are brand new. The breakfast was the most pleasant surprise! There's a wide variety of dishes, especially a good selection of staple foods, and the flow of the buffet is quite well-planned. I particularly loved the 'Sa Tang' (a local soup), the jujube, and the egg, pork floss, and cheese pancake. The breakfast staff and the chefs at the hot food station were all energetic and very good-looking! Especially the chef at the noodle station – he'd always call out to let you know when your order was ready. Couldn't do without him. All in all, great location and excellent value for money! Highly recommended."

We were picked up from the airport by a shuttle bus to the hotel, and the next day they dropped us off at the subway station. They even extended our check-out until 3 PM and then took us back to the airport. The front desk staff and drivers were all very enthusiastic and had great attitudes. The hotel is comfortable and clean, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of food. We really love Atour Hotels."

As a first-time visitor, I wasn't familiar with the local area or transportation, and online food guides were chaotic and unreliable, making me worried about picking the wrong places. Cherry understood my desire to try authentic local cuisine and went above and beyond by taking her personal time to hand-draw a food map. This map clearly marked genuine BBQ joints,特色混沌 (local specialty wontons), and other established local eateries in the Shinan District. She cleverly helped me avoid tourist traps, precisely noting store locations, opening hours, and average spending per person. Beyond that, she kindly advised on transportation methods and reminded me to steer clear of congested routes.
The hotel's facilities were equally impressive. Our room was brightly lit with abundant natural light, and the soft furnishings were sophisticated yet minimalist. The housekeeping was impeccable, and amenities were always well-stocked. Cherry's sincerity shone through; there was no pushy sales talk, just naturally comfortable service. These thoughtful, personalized touches, though small, truly doubled the happiness of our trip. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to fellow travelers – it's reliable and won't disappoint. I'll definitely choose this place again for my next trip!"
