"The room was clean and well-maintained. The service was excellent, and the breakfast spread was generous. The room itself was spacious, and the facilities were top-notch. It's a new hotel, so there were no unpleasant odors. They also offer a free shuttle service to and from the station, which is a huge plus. Boasting a convenient location, the hotel is just 3km from Rizhao Railway Station and 24km from Rizhao Shanzihe Airport. There's plenty to do nearby, with Lighthouse Scenic Area, Blue Whale Catch Sea & Sea Fishing Club and Rizhao Science and Technology Museum all within a short distance. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. For those driving themselves, parking is provided on site. If cleanliness is important to you, this hotel makes an excellent choice, as our guests consider this to be one of the cleanest hotels in the city. For guests traveling with families, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.
"Overall, the hotel is pretty average, and the decor is quite dated. If you look closely, many areas are showing their age. Only the hotel exterior and lobby look decent. Let me focus on the issues.
On the first day, we arrived at the hotel around 6 PM. When we drove onto the platform, I asked if I could park there while checking in, but they wouldn't let me, even though other cars were clearly parked there. After parking in the basement and going up to the front desk, three people were standing there with their heads down. I wasn't sure if they were busy or what they were doing, so I didn't want to disturb them. I stood about 3 to 5 meters away for over half a minute. Seeing that no one was paying attention to me, I asked, ”Can I check in?” Immediately, a man told me to come to him. I saw him quickly put his phone aside; it turned out all three of them were playing on their phones. After check-in, no one told me where to find the elevator. I blindly walked in the opposite direction of the parking lot elevator and, by chance, got it right. The hotel has two side wings, and even if I had guessed wrong, there would have been an elevator, but it would have been a long detour.
As for the hotel management, I guess they haven't had much training. From the moment I arrived until I checked out, no one ever nodded at me, said hello, or acknowledged me in any way. It was always cold, indifferent brushes past each other.
The room didn't have any general-purpose tissues, only one in the bathroom by the sink. I don't know if this is standard for all rooms or if they just forgot to put one in.
The soundproofing in the room was poor. In the morning, I could clearly hear doors closing in other rooms, people talking in the hallway, and children shouting next door.
In the afternoon, I hung the 'please clean' sign on the door when I went out, but by 4:30 PM, the room still hadn't been cleaned.
The alarm clock by the bed was placed there, but it wasn't set correctly; it was an hour off, as shown in the picture.
Instant coffee is acceptable, but only sugar packets were provided, with no creamer or non-dairy creamer.
Last night, I went to the bar on the first floor. When I entered, there was a live singer performing. I couldn't see any staff at the bar, and there were no other guests. I walked to the bar to look at the menu, and suddenly a young man popped up from behind the computer. Right after we ordered our drinks, the singer left. We sat there for half an hour in complete silence; there wasn't even any soft background music. We were the only ones there the whole time."

"My friends and I came to Rizhao for a week during the May holidays. We found a decent apartment. It was quite clean, had a balcony, a small bathroom with a shower, and two rooms with beds.
The location was convenient, 10-15 minutes from the sea by scooter, and it took the same amount of time to get to the nearby shopping mall.
We were a bit lost at first, but the hosts contacted us, gave us a ride, and told us about the city and its main attractions. They were very nice people; they kept in touch with us and brought us supplies if we needed them. They were very friendly and sociable.
A great experience, a great city, especially during the holidays (it turned out to be quite laid-back and calm). We hope to come back again!"

"Choosing the right hotel for my trip to Rizhao was absolutely worth it! The Puyue Zhiya Seaview Hotel has an amazing location, within walking distance to the beach, and the sea view rooms offer a fantastic panorama. The rooms are clean, tidy, and well-equipped, offering excellent value for money. I have to give a special shout-out to Xiao Jie, the front desk attendant! Her efficiency was incredible; check-in was completed in just three minutes, and she explained all the information clearly and thoroughly. Her attitude was incredibly thoughtful – she proactively helped with my luggage, patiently shared practical tips for local sightseeing and where to eat seafood, and when I temporarily needed toiletries, they were delivered very quickly. Professional and warm-hearted service! My entire experience was fantastic. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Rizhao, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone planning a visit!"

It has sea view rooms, high-end residential apartments, a high-end sea-view cafeteria on the roof, sufficient parking lot, and high-quality services such as charging piles and car wash shops. A comprehensive high-end hotel integrating catering, guest rooms, wedding banquets and entertainment.The hotel is located on the seaside line of Bihai Road, Donggang District, Rizhao City, Shandong Province, with "blue sky, blue sea, and golden sand beach" within easy reach.Hotel functions include accommodation, catering, conference, wedding, SPA and fitness, boutique shopping, leisure and other services.
"The hotel's location is great; you just cross the road and a small wooded area to reach the beach.
The hotel's cleanliness was decent, but the smart toilet's flush was incredibly loud. I didn't even dare sit on the toilet at night for fear of it automatically flushing, as the sound, especially in a quiet room, was like a jackhammer.
The mini-fridge in the room was useless; it didn't cool at all.
Only rooms on the 3rd floor and above have balconies. The foldable drying rack on the balcony was a thoughtful touch, but it would have been even better if there was a chair. It would also be great if there were two chairs in the room itself; with a double room having only one, one person has to stand while the other sits during meals, which isn't very practical.
Finally, something unforgivable was that during our stay, the apartment building opposite was undergoing demolition and renovation. The drilling noise was simply unbearable, making it impossible to rest in the afternoon due to the extreme loudness."

"The montage of taking children to Rizhao holiday, the experience is great! Changhui at the front desk has a spacious room at the height of the sky. Anonymous UserThe hotel is very close to the beach, just a 5-minute walk. You exit the restaurant, turn left, cross the road, and you're there. It was also the cleanest beach I'd seen in Rizhao during my stay. The hotel has a heated swimming pool with two slow lanes, perfect for kids at the very edge, and two fast lanes. Staff supervise the fast lanes to ensure no children play or linger there, making them ideal for serious swimmers. The staff are very responsible, and the pool even provides inflatable armbands for temporary use, which is a very thoughtful touch. Excellent hotel management! 👍

Booked a standard double room for a family of three, and upon arrival, the front desk staff upgraded us to an executive double room. The beds were reconfigured to one large and one small, which was perfect as my child and wife could sleep together comfortably without feeling cramped. It was incredibly thoughtful! The hotel itself was very quiet, and downstairs there were all sorts of restaurants, seafood, and BBQ places. Right outside the hotel, you could rent electric scooters, which was super convenient. Our trip to Rizhao was very satisfying! (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)👍

Guest UserI haven't felt the urge to write a long, positive review in a long time, but this hotel deserves high praise. Before coming to Rizhao, I looked at many hotels, researching all the seaside hotels, and finally chose Ocean Aesthetics because my child wanted the hotel to be as close to the sea as possible. Before coming, I was a little worried, as some online reviews pointed out some problems, but my experience was completely different from those negative reviews. The butler, Xiao Yue, contacted me in advance to inform me of some matters, and he resolved any issues immediately during the stay. He also proactively checked on me, so a big thumbs up! 👍 The room was clean and spacious, the courtyard was beautiful, and the stay was very comfortable. The hotel's pool restaurant was also very good. Outside the hotel, along the coastline, you can watch the tides and catch small crabs, which my child had a blast at, saying it was the best hotel of the trip. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I come to Rizhao; it's a truly relaxing vacation.

The staff could speak enough English to communicate. The front desk, as well as the cleaning staff, were very friendly. The breakfast was 90% Chinese, which means the only Western option was cereal. The hotel's location to the beach is excellent. The resort is lovely until you reach the beach. This beach was a big disappointment. Extremely dirty with lots of trash that washed up on the beach. I would NOT come again
