Convenient location, near to all the shopping and the bund. Nice, comfortable bedrooms, good service. The only downside was the strong cigarette smoke smell filling the entire cafe on the 2nd floor. Which we discovered in day 2 and kept away. Other than that, we enjoyed our 4nights and 5 days stay.

I came alone and stayed for a few nights before my friend joined me. The reception staff are friendly and speak both English and Chinese and were more than happy to help with recommendations and provide anything requested. The location is wonderful and walking distance from the Bund and many other attractions. Next door is a convenience store and opposite is a delicious coffee shop which was great in the mornings. The room is cleaned daily and was spacious with amenities provided. The air con worked and WiFi is provided. Overall I could not complain about my stay，it was a wonderful place for my first time in China!

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. It's only a 15-20 minute walk to the Bund. This time I stayed in an executive room which included breakfast and access to the executive lounge. The breakfast spread was very generous with a wide variety of choices, and the food tasted good too. The only downside was that the room showed clear signs of wear and tear, with dark stains around the bathtub. Also, getting a taxi was a bit inconvenient as drivers often didn't know how to get to the lobby on the second floor.

The location is excellent, right on Nanjing Road. There's a revolving restaurant upstairs and a shopping mall on the lower floors, making dining very convenient. Oliver, who assisted us, was incredibly nice and attentive, providing a five-star service throughout our stay. Most of the guests were international tour groups. The only downside is that the rooms are a bit old, and some have average views. It would be better to choose a room type carefully when checking in at Radisson Blu Hotel Shanghai New World.

Nothing to conplain about. Room pictures are accurate. You get more than what you pay for. Cleanliness is perfect, unlimited coffee, tea, and ice at the lobby. Free softdrinks and water in your ref everyday. Very close to people’s square station + great food nearby. Best of all, japanese style toilet with bidet unlike most hotels in China. Would stay here only.

Had a lovely three-night stay! The staff were so welcoming, and the location is convenient being right by the metro and walking distance to popular streets. The room was cozy, though the lighting was a bit dim and it’s showing some age. The staff were helpful, but could use a bit more training with local tips. Overall, a solid choice for a budget-friendly trip!

The front desk staff are exceptionally friendly, highly efficient, and communicate smoothly. They handle issues professionally and promptly, which made me feel very secure. Colonnades, vintage chandeliers, exquisite floral arrangements – the recent renovation hasn't erased the building's original historical essence but has instead perfectly blended modern comfort with old-world elegance. Every detail is worth a moment's appreciation. The guest rooms continue the serene and elegant style. Dark brown wooden doorframes and a headboard featuring red and gold vintage patterns are complemented by a soft, sophisticated carpet. There are no overly flamboyant decorations; it's understated yet luxurious. The bed is soft and comfortable, the room is bright and airy, offering a tranquil escape from the bustling city. At night, closing the windows effectively blocks out street noise, ensuring a peaceful sleep. The bathroom is spacious, with marble countertops, a retro carved mirror, and even a bathtub. After a long day, a hot bath washes away travel fatigue. The amenities truly live up to the standard of a well-established luxury hotel. The geographical location is undoubtedly the hotel's strongest asset. Situated in the city center, Huangpu District, it's within walking distance of key attractions like People's Square, The Bund, and Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. Stepping out, you're right in the vibrant streets of Shanghai, making transportation incredibly convenient for sightseeing and dining. Of course, a century-old building will inevitably bear the marks of time. Compared to newly built hotels, the room layouts here have a unique retro charm. But this unparalleled sense of historical atmosphere is precisely the most precious gift the Yangtze Hotel offers. If you're tired of generic chain hotels and wish to understand Shanghai in a different way, the Yangtze Hotel is an excellent choice. Here, you're not just staying in a room; you're living a forgotten chapter of the city's past, a gentle reunion with old Shanghai.

Awesome amenities, late checkout, clean room great view and walking distance from Suzhou river to the north, which is my favorite place in SH for an evening walk. Recommend this hotel.

Excellent location and perfect after a long day of exploring. We enjoyed our stay at Yitel Premium in Shanghai. The location was excellent, right on Nanjing Pedestrian Road, making it extremely convenient for exploring the city and getting around. One of the highlights was definitely the bed with the adjustable 0-gravity position and massage function. After spending long days walking around Shanghai, coming back to the hotel and relaxing in that bed was fantastic! The room was comfortable and the hotel was a very convenient base for sightseeing. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel, so we can’t comment on the breakfast. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would definitely consider staying here again when visiting Shanghai.
