I arrived at the front desk at 1:45 PM for check-in and was told the room wasn't ready, requiring another 46-minute wait. After I insisted, the front desk upgraded me to a room on the 36th floor. Those are the positives; what follows are the hardware facilities that I simply cannot comprehend for a Marriott hotel: After showering, the bathroom completely flooded, and I had to lay towels on the floor to prevent slipping. Half of the bathroom door couldn't be opened, and the lock wouldn't latch. The hotel elevators generally took 3-5 minutes to arrive. As the saying goes, 'sharpening your axe won't delay your chopping,' and it's time for the hotel to consider a moderate renovation to improve its hardware facilities. This experience has somewhat affected my impression of the Marriott Group."
