The courtyard looked like it would be great for photos, but it was just so-so. The rooms were small, with only a small, non-open window in the attic on the second floor, making the overall feeling very cramped and poorly ventilated. The air conditioning was practically useless this time of year; it was unbearably hot in the attic, but the air didn't reach downstairs, making it freezing, especially at night. Walking is quite a distance due to the mountain roads, but driving near the Redwood Forest is extremely congested.
