"Stayed just 1 night in between transit. Hotel is resort style. Based on my owned stay, i experienced double standard in seevice esoecially from reception and restaurant. I observed western guests were treated and welcomed more warmly. Please improve this. Deluxe room was spacious, but shower was so badly clogged (didnt bother to get it fixed since only staying for 1 night). Breakfast was decent. Check out was slow and below expectation."

"The Centre Point Hotel Chidlom, Bangkok, is conveniently located near BTS Chit Lom station. I highly recommend getting off directly at this station. Don't make the same mistake I did by getting off at Siam station for convenience; dragging luggage under the scorching sun was unbearable. It's a 5-minute walk to CentralWorld and just a few more minutes to Big C, which is perfect for buying souvenirs on your last day. Central Embassy, a high-end mall, is a 10-minute walk behind the hotel. The surrounding area is excellent for shopping and dining. The lobby offers complimentary coffee, iced water, and hot chocolate during specific hours. I highly recommend the rich double chocolate – it's creamy and delicious. The hotel facilities are excellent. The free swimming pool and gym are open until 8 PM. There's also an indoor children's play area, an activity room, and a game room where you can play racing games, suitable for both adults and children. The spacious pool area includes a massage pool and foot bath, and the changing rooms have dry and wet saunas, plus a warm hydro-massage pool. The staff are friendly and courteous; luggage is delivered directly to your room. The rooms are equipped with simple tableware and a washer-dryer. The hotel provides free laundry detergent daily, which is perfect for Bangkok's humid weather. Just remember to bring your own hangers, as the ones in the wardrobe cannot be taken out of the room. The rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows, offering great natural light and a convenient spot to dry clothes. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, with both a shower and a bathtub. The bathtub is wider than those in typical hotels, making for a very comfortable soak. I saw some reviews mentioning poor hygiene and water pressure, but staying on the 28th floor, I didn't experience any of these issues. My room was clean and tidy, and the water pressure was perfectly adequate. Overall, the location is excellent, the facilities are comprehensive, and the service is attentive. It’s a very comfortable place to relax and enjoy a holiday; I highly recommend staying here."

"I decided to go at the last minute, and the off-season price was really good – great value for money. You can tell it's a bit classic and high-end just by the solid room door. Upon check-in, I paid a 1000 baht/300 RMB deposit, which was returned in the original currency at check-out. My room didn't have a bathtub, but judging by the size of the bathroom, I think there used to be one that was removed during a renovation. My flight arrived late, so I missed the ARL express line and had to take a taxi to the hotel after some hassle. There's a fridge, and the swimming pool is smaller than I expected, but it was fine for a quick dip. The hotel's location is convenient, with plenty of food and shops nearby. 7-Eleven can take care of most needs, but it's a bit far from the subway. The hotel has a 30 baht scheduled shuttle that passes by a subway station. Bangkok's subway is a bit complicated, expensive, and takes roundabout routes, so it's hard to figure out – no wonder locals choose to commute by boat. Bangkok traffic is terrible, with motorbikes vying for space with cars. For women, I'd advise caution when choosing a motorbike."

"We were staying in a corner room, which was connected to another room. On our first day, the lock on one of the rooms was broken and couldn't be opened from the inside. We went to the lobby, and they just reactivated the room key and told us to try again, but it still didn't work. So I called the lobby, and about 20 minutes later someone came to check on the door, took a video, said they would send someone to fix it, and then left. We waited for two hours, but no one came. So we called the same number to inquire, but the person there told us to call another number. After connecting to that number, they said they would transfer us to another number, which led to another long wait, and finally, no one answered. Since we had other plans, we went downstairs to the lobby to talk to them and arranged for cleaning to be done once the door was fixed. Three hours later, we returned and asked in the lobby if our door was repaired. The staff member answered our question impatiently and rolled their eyes. However, all the other service staff were very nice and had excellent service attitudes."

"The house is over 100 years old and absolutely beautiful. It was spotlessly clean, and our whole family was very satisfied. The food was also plentiful, and the customer service lady was really friendly and lovely. Definitely worth recommending! However, the soundproofing in the house is very poor. My two nephews are a bit noisy, and we were constantly worried about disturbing others, so we felt quite on edge. It's not really suitable for families with lively young children. Everything else was great though!"

"Return to Vela Glow Pratunam Hotel during my Bangkok trip this time . The location is really great — convenient and close to shopping areas. The room was comfortable and overall stay was pleasant. However, there is currently railway construction on the main road nearby, causing very heavy traffic and congestion, especially during peak hours. Do take note if you plan to travel around by car or Grab."

"The room was a bit small, and even though there was a balcony, smoking wasn't allowed. Breakfast was quite good. The location is about a 15-minute walk from IconSiam, but it's across the river from most major attractions. While it looks close in a straight line, taxi fares are quite expensive, costing around 200 baht to get to the main sights, which isn't very convenient. The main downsides were that the duvet always felt damp, making it uncomfortable to sleep, and the swimming pool water wasn't very clean. My child's eyes got irritated and swollen after swimming. The front desk said they didn't have any medicine and told me to go to a hospital 8km away. I felt like their service was worse than the 7-11 staff. In contrast, the young lady at the nearby 7-11 even actively helped us find a pharmacy to buy medicine. Compared to her, the hotel front desk was very perfunctory."

"I frequently stayed at Asia Hotel and it has been 4 times within 10 months. Location is excellent and directly connected to Ratchathewi BTS. 7/11 is just downstairs. Easily accessible to local food vendors and Thai massage. The hotel rooms are a bit old, but you can still manage to stay here unless you are allergic to these flaws. Staffs are very friendly and willing to help especially security guards and housekeepers. But, I found out that some receptionists are kind of rude and very straightforward. They need to be well trained to improve their services I guess. Photo is the view from my room."

"The location is quite convenient, within walking distance to the BTS station. However, it is located around the Nana area, which is known for its nightlife and adult entertainment spots. The area gets very crowded and busy at night. The hotel provides a buggy service to BTS, but it runs on a fixed schedule and needs to be booked in advance, which can be slightly inconvenient. One thing I liked is that the toilet, shower, and basin are all separated, making it more practical and comfortable. The bed was quite comfortable, however I was disappointed to find that the blanket was worn out, which affected the overall impression of the room. Overall, a decent stay with a convenient location, but room maintenance could be improved."
