"Cleanliness: Although the hotel is a bit old, it's incredibly clean and well-maintained. There were no strange odors inside, which shows their excellent housekeeping and odor control. The lobby always had a faint fruity scent, and our room was spotless. Facilities: The hotel breakfast was fantastic! Besides standard items like coffee, tea, milk, juice, and eggs, they offered a variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy products, and local pastries every day. For tourists who spend their days exploring, such a high-quality breakfast is essential. The complimentary bottled water in the room daily was also very practical! Service: All hotel staff spoke fluent English and Russian, so communication was never an issue. They were polite, friendly, and always willing to help. We needed to book an English-speaking tour guide for the next day; after explaining it to the front desk, they immediately helped us contact someone and quickly finalized the booking. The day after our tour, upon returning to the hotel, the staff even followed up to ask if we were satisfied with the experience, showing truly excellent service. Environment: The hotel's location is superb, situated within a pedestrian street, making it very safe. Most major attractions are just a 10-minute walk away. There are many guesthouses and shops nearby, and a square not far off where many locals stroll and walk their children after the sunset cools down, making for a very pleasant evening walk. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our experience at the Sangzor Hotel and highly recommend it to other visitors coming to Samarkand!"

"The room I got at this hotel was surprisingly good – clean and tidy! Since I was leaving Samarkand the next day, and this place was affordable and relatively close to the train station, I decided to stay here even though the amenities listed 'no bathroom.' Turns out, it had a bathroom, and it was a great wet/dry separation setup! I actually discussed this with the owner; he didn't understand Chinese and wasn't aware that the platform stated 'no bathroom,' so he'll be updating that. The owner was incredibly kind. He knew we were coming and waited for us at the entrance, and even helped us get a taxi when we left. He's honestly the best hotel owner I met in all of Uzbekistan, absolutely fantastic! I hope my Chinese friends who see this review will choose this hotel when in Samarkand, Uzbekistan – you'll thank me later. Sorry, I forgot to take pictures, so I'm using the hotel's photos."

The surroundings are quiet, peaceful, and safe, making it ideal for relaxing after a long journey. The rooms are very clean, spacious, and bright. Every corner is meticulously cleaned, the bedding is soft and high-quality, and the air temperature is always stable and comfortable. The bathroom fixtures are new and clean, water pressure is good, and hot water is always available without any issues. The room has all the necessary amenities: fast and stable internet, air conditioning, a TV, and other essential equipment. The hotel staff's service deserves the highest praise. The reception staff are very polite, patient, and attentive. The check-in and check-out processes were very quick and convenient, with no unnecessary waiting. I could get immediate answers to all my questions and requests, and the staff were always ready to help. Breakfast is very rich and delicious. There's a wide selection of national and international dishes, all prepared with fresh and high-quality ingredients. Different dishes are offered every day, making each morning a pleasant start. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, safe, and quality stay during their travels. "The hotel isn't bad, it's clean inside, and they even provide toiletries like a razor. However, breakfast is a real disaster (the fried eggs were cold, meaning they were just sitting there ready and not warmed up, the buffet was meager, and they used the cheapest products – the cheapest bad cheese, bad sausage). Plus, the cottage cheese was spoiled, and the coffee was sour. When I needed water, an employee poured it into my glass from a 0.5L bottle. Breakfast: 0/10. I wouldn't choose this hotel a second time."

"Stayed at Mustafa Hotel in Samarkanda. The hotel opened only this year everything is absolutely new, fresh and works perfectly. I liked everything very much. What I would like to note separately: 1. The hotel itself is very beautiful and modern. The interior is designed to the small stylish, with taste, feels like they have put a soul. It's nice to be in the hall, in the rooms, in the common zones. Not just the ”table” cleanliness, but really beautiful design. 2. Excellent pool. Big plus for Samarkanda after a long day of heat walks it is very nice to swim. The pool is clean, tidy, with a comfortable rest area around. 3. Everything new. Since the hotel opened this year, there are no weared furniture, no rubbish coatings, no pipes with paddles. Everything works like clocks. It's a huge plus that overlaps many other moments. 4. The hotel is modern but cozy. Not a huge, faceless ”concrete box,” but a neat, thoughtful option for comfortable rest. In general, if you want to stay in a really new, beautiful hotel with a great swimming pool and stylish interior Mustafa Hotel, a great choice. I stayed very pleased."

"No hairdryer was provided, and the towels and bath towels looked very old, almost as if they weren't clean. The room door was incredibly difficult to open and lock; the host explained it three or four times before I finally got the hang of it, but it was still a struggle to operate. Even though Samarkand had already canceled the tourist tax by the time I checked in, the host still charged it. As for breakfast, it was very mediocre."

"The hotel is beautiful, fresh, and everything is new with a pleasant interior. The staff are friendly and always willing to help if they can. The cleaning lady is also very nice. The rooms are small but have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Each floor has a small balcony where you can smoke if you wish or enjoy a morning coffee, assuming you manage to snag it. Downsides: The bathroom had very high humidity; I had to keep the door wide open constantly, otherwise, the towels wouldn't even dry. At night, a strip of light enters the room because the door isn't fully sealed. Around 2 AM, some staff member noisily checked in new guests, talking loudly and so on. There was no respect for sleeping guests – I, of course, woke up. While being polite to some guests, they shouldn't disregard the right of others to rest. In general, noise from the corridor and slamming doors is very audible, but what kind of soundproofing can you expect with such a gap between the door and the wall? I wasn't particularly impressed with the breakfast: there's nothing to complain about, but nothing to praise either. I went once and didn't feel like going again. It's clean, decent, and cozy, but for the price per night in Qatar, I've had poached eggs with salmon for breakfast, not just mild yogurt and sausages. But these are differences between countries, and overall, I have no complaints about the hotel itself; you can certainly get enough to eat. The people and the interior were what I liked most. I recommend this hotel to everyone!"
