"The initial guesthouse I booked was unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, but the Ctrip concierge upgraded me to Tianjian Meisu, which was the best thing about the trip!! Breakfast was at the Old Kapok Hotel, and the 'Lao You Fen' (local rice noodles) was delicious. This was my first time staying in a tent, and it was a great experience – I woke up to the sound of birdsong."
