"The front desk service was excellent, and I was happy with the room – it was clean and well-equipped. I also loved the hotel's style and its proximity to tourist attractions. However, there's one significant issue: the cafeteria service was absolutely terrible!!! I went for breakfast, saw some raw noodles and a pot, and asked, 'Are these noodles for making?' The service auntie replied, 'It's all self-service!' I then asked, 'So, I make the noodles myself too?' She repeated, 'It's all self-service!' I thought, okay, I'll make them myself. But then, she impatiently asked, 'What are you doing? Do you want noodles?' I said yes, and she very grudgingly came over and started cooking them. I was thinking, I could have just made them myself, I didn't insist *you* do it. After the noodles were cooked, she just scooped them out, put the bowl down, and walked away without even saying 'here you go' or anything. I quickly went to grab it because it was for my child, and I asked, 'Is this sauce spicy?' Without even looking back, she just walked out and yelled, 'Whatever you want, just pour it yourself!' What??? What kind of person is this?? It was so baffling! What an attitude, first thing in the morning, do I owe you money??? I mentioned this to the front desk when I checked out, and they were very apologetic, which was good. I genuinely like Qianna Hotel, but this kind of staff member is just incredibly off-putting!!!"

I felt it was excellent value for money. The receptionists were all very friendly and professionally dressed. My room didn't have any unpleasant odors. The room wasn't big, but it matched the pictures, and the TV and air conditioning were in good working order. The road in front of the Shanxi-Shaanxi-Gansu Guild Hall was narrow, so I couldn't get a taxi, but it was a quick walk back. It's also within walking distance of the bookstore street. It rained the day I left, and the view from the window was amazing. I'm writing this review specifically for that view."

"Traveling with family, we were looking for a hotel with large twin beds, and we found this one that actually had two 1.8-meter beds! It's perfect for families with two children. We opted for the 1.8m and 1.3m family suite, which came with a living room and was quite spacious. The massage chair was brand new and very comfortable. The hotel service was excellent; the front desk staff proactively introduced local attractions during check-in, recommended places to eat, and even provided a tourist map. They also have a laundry room with a dryer, which is very convenient. For just over 200 during the off-season, it was an incredible value. It's also very close to Kaifeng Mansion, just a few hundred meters away. We managed to rush with our two kids and even caught the opening ceremony!"

"My stay at Ping Song Hotel in Kaifeng was an absolute embodiment of 'Song Dynasty charm.' The moment I stepped into the lobby, the antique furnishings and perfectly lit ambiance immediately created an incredible atmosphere. The room facilities were very modern, especially the smart control system – I could turn on the lights and close the curtains just by speaking, which was a dream for someone like me! Yet, the overall design blended perfectly with the Song Dynasty style, without any jarring elements. The cleanliness deserves full marks; the floors and tabletops were spotless, and the wet/dry separation in the bathroom was excellent. Most importantly, the bedding felt meticulously cared for – clean and soft, guaranteeing a great night's sleep. The service was impeccable. Check-in at the front desk was efficient, and they thoughtfully provided a Kaifeng tourist map. Room service was also very prompt. The biggest bonus was the souvenir I received when checking out: a beautifully packaged box of Kaifeng chrysanthemum tea. This thoughtful gesture truly touched me and brought my Kaifeng trip to a perfect close."

"This hotel is very close to Wansui Mountain Wuxia City. There are many 'sanbengs' (three-wheeled taxis) right outside the entrance that can take you to the scenic area for just 5 yuan. There are also plenty of restaurants and makeup/styling shops nearby, so the location is excellent. The room was new and very clean, and the owner's service attitude was great. Highly recommend staying here!"

The soundproofing isn't great, so light sleepers might be affected. I chose this place during the May Day holiday because it was easy to park and close to tourist attractions."
