"The hotel's location is actually really convenient. It's just a few minutes' walk from Dongdaemun subway station, and the Airport Bus 6002 stop is less than 200m away. However, the hotel is tucked away in a small alley, which makes it a bit hard to find. Both the taxi driver and I were quite confused trying to locate it. On the bright side, there are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making dining and shopping very easy. The front desk staff's English was excellent, so communication was a breeze, and they even had check-in instructions in Chinese. There's a coffee shop downstairs, part of the hotel, and we received two complimentary coffee vouchers upon check-in. The coffee shop has a great ambiance. The barista on duty when I went was a super cool lady with short hair. Even though I was just redeeming free coffee, she patiently asked about my preferences and told me to let her know if I needed anything. Later, when I returned to the hotel, she greeted me enthusiastically, which really brightened my day. The hotel room wasn't huge, but since it's a new hotel, the bathroom was very modern – definitely a step above many Korean hotels. The room provided bottled water and a toiletries kit, and the overall cleanliness was excellent. The only downside is that the family room isn't very spacious and honestly can't accommodate three suitcases. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay, and I would definitely choose this hotel again if I have the chance to visit in the future."

"I usually don’t leave a review unless I have a good experience and this one was great if you’re a solo traveler. 1) Its in a great location right in the center of myeongdong st so you can easily bring back your shopping goods and not carry them 2) It’s super clean and the whole facility smells super nice, it’s nice and modern looking too 3) Pretty quite in the girls capsule I had no trouble falling asleep without earbuds and I’m a pretty light sleeper. Only can get a bit annoying if you live on the top bunk to get up and dow"

"Just as the Reviews shows. Great location in Gangnam area. Hotel is in the middle of 2 stations, very convenient to go anywhere, but its on a hill so mught be an issue for the elderly. Hotel toilet comes with Bidet which is awesome! Clean and comfortable. CU nearby which is great if you need anything at night."

The only drawback is the lack of an elevator, so you have to carry your luggage upstairs. Cleanliness: Generally clean. The cleanliness largely depends on the guests themselves, with staff ensuring basic tidiness. Environment: The fourth-floor balcony offers views of Namsan Park and N Seoul Tower. It's only a 3-minute walk from Myeongdong Station on Line 4, and there's a Daiso nearby. Service: As it's a capsule hotel, it's mostly self-service, including self check-in. You can pick up your check-in card with your name on it on the second floor. Breakfast consists of basic items like cake, eggs, and ham sausage. However, the eggs are from the fridge, and while there's a microwave and water dispenser, there are no other facilities to heat the eggs."

"The bedding in the room was comfortable, and it was a great experience for two people. The whole place was clean and tidy, the location was convenient, and it offered good value for money. The only downside: booking in advance was a great deal, but extending our stay last minute was very expensive. The hotel policy required us to book an additional night to extend our stay, and extending for just one night wasn't supported. Travelers with flexible itineraries should keep this in mind."

"I was a little worried because it had just opened and started being listed on trip.com about 5 days before my trip to Korea, and there were no reviews yet. However, I had always wanted to stay at a hotel in the same chain, so I booked it immediately. The cleanliness and location were both excellent, and although it's a new hotel, the front desk staff were all smiling and helpful, which was very pleasant. When I was there, the languages ​​spoken were English and Korean, but it was manageable. I stayed in a double room this time. The back of the bed had a counter table and bench sofa, so I could relax and eat the food I had bought, and the large TV mounted above was great because I could watch it without straining my neck! The TV was also positioned well so that it was easy to watch while lying in bed! The refrigerator was on the smaller side, but it was a typical size for a hotel. I was personally happy that there was a microwave in the room! There was a dresser, a full-length mirror, and a mirror above the sink, perfect! It was hard to tell from the official photos, but there are doors for both the toilet and the shower room! The water pressure in the shower was good, but the drainage couldn't keep up, and although there was a door, a little water leaked onto the floor of the toilet, but I guess that's pretty common. The towels were soft and nice! It's easily within walking distance from the station, and there are no hills or bumpy roads, so it's fine even with a suitcase. The bus stop is very close! The Cheonggyecheon Stream is right in front of the hotel, and I took a late-night walk there – it was fantastic! If I had to mention one thing, it would be that there's a thick pillar at the foot of the bed, which is a bit of a hindrance when opening and closing the curtains... Overall, it was a great stay. Considering the price range of the affiliated hotels, I have a feeling the price might go up a bit in the future, but I would like to stay there again if I have the chance!"

"Stayed at Myeongdong Merlin Hotel for a short transit and overall it was a good experience. The location is convenient about 15–20 minutes to Myeongdong Night Street, which is great if you want easy access to shopping and food. We arrived quite late (around 10pm) after traveling from Busan and checked out early at 5am to head to ICN airport. Even with the short stay, everything went smoothly. Check-in was quick and hassle-free, which we really appreciated after a long journey. We were traveling in a big group (18 people), and the hotel managed us well. Rooms were clean and facilities were sufficient for a short stay. Service was also efficient. Overall, a solid and convenient choice especially for short stays or transit in Seoul 👍"

The neighborhood boasts a stylish area filled with restaurants, accessory shops, clothing stores, and cafes, many housed in old traditional buildings. There are also plenty of BBQ restaurants where you can enjoy grilled meat outdoors. The hotel itself has been completely renovated inside, offering a chic, clean, and tidy atmosphere. Rooms are well-equipped with air conditioning/heating, a large wall-mounted TV, and a spacious toilet with a shower. Body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and towels are all provided and convenient to use. The mini-fridge also comes stocked with cold bottled water. The front desk staff are friendly and can communicate in Japanese."
