"The hotel is close to metro station, easy to find. The room is wonderful, very clean and spacious. The bed is comfortable (not as soft as other hotel). We enjoyed very much our stay in this hotel. But just one expectation, we don’t know well how to use the microwave and washing machines in the room, it will be better if instruction provided."

"Service: I'm about to give the worst service review. On my first stay, your hotel's front desk had a Caucasian female employee who initially gave me half of a family suite. Only after I emphasized the room type I booked did she change it for me. The hotel wasn't so fully booked that she couldn't have assigned me the room I pre-booked. Why would you try to pass off a partitioned room as a full one, treating customers like fools? I was extremely angry about this. And it wasn't just the room assignment; the room card she gave me was just a plain power card. Couldn't she provide a proper, decent room card? It's hard for me not to suspect some malicious intent. I hope you can give me a satisfactory explanation. Otherwise, my overall review of this hotel is very positive. The accommodation environment is good, the room facilities are sufficient, the location is great, and transportation is convenient. The room design is also beautiful, and I took many photos. I highly recommend staying here. If I come to Brussels again, I would indeed choose Cardo again. However, the subtle malice from your front desk and the unpleasant check-in experience disappointed me so much that it nearly ruined my entire stay, even though everything else was perfect."

"The location is perfect as it is close to Metro, train station. While we were staying the road was having constructions so it was not easy to walk, and noisy sometimes. But overall it was quite pleasant. We used the Wellness centre for free, but do remember to ask for a towel at reception."

"Check-in is 3pm and we arrived at 3pm but the room was only ready at almost 4pm. The story was that it was cleaned already but ”awaiting inspection”. We were handed 2 bar coupons with a blithe apology in rapid fire French for our 50 min wait. The vacuuming in the room left much to be desired. When we got into the room on the 1st day, there was a pistachio at the side of the bed. My sister's dust allergy was triggered throughout our 4 day stay. When we opted for housekeeping on the 3rd of the 4 days we stayed, the same pistachio remained there after the cleaning staff were done. Towels and bed linens were refreshed but the coffee/tea and bathroom amenities were not. If you choose the Deluxe twin room like we did, please note that the room is 24 metre square and there is only room to open up one medium sized suitcase on the ground. Our other suitcase had to be accessed via the wardrobe which was spacious enough to keep the 2nd suitcase in. Location wise, it's ideal and a stone's throw from Grand Place - the historic city centre, and many shops and good brasseries. It's a 10 min uphill walk from the hotel to the nearest train station called Brussel Centraal / Bruxelles-Midi which will bring you straight to the Brussels Airport in 17 min on the direct train (1st class carriage €12.10). The buffet breakfast is plentiful and of good quality (with eggs cooked to order) in a nice space with a courtyard view crewed by pleasant staff fluent in English. The bar has a relaxing ambience with an outdoor view and affordable drinks. My guide is always how much the increasingly rare digestif liqueur Chartreuse Verte costs. It was €14 per pour. Note : You get a free coupon for a soft drink/coffee/beer/wine if you pass up on room cleaning. If you have a short stay, you should as there wasn't much cleaning done."

"Wins because of location. Once exiting central station, its a 30m walk to the hotel. Very convenient as it avoids needing to lug luggage across town, with the slopes and cobblestones and also saves taxi fare. Booked this to stay the night as we were going to the airport the next morning. Lobby, reception was good, room ambience was ok only. There is a mini convenience store within the hotel, with self service checkout that may be useful for some guests who arrive late. Shoe shine available on level 1. Excellent gym. 24H Gym is new, clean smelling, towels and sanitiser provided with mood lighting you can choose, and 2 treadmills that face the central station. Room view was of central station. Space adequate to open up luggages. 2 twin beds were placed quite close together. Bedding clean, fridge was cold, kettle available. Toilet had a bathtub, no separate shower area. Water pressure good. Marble tiles are nice, but have some yellow stains after years of use, toilet still clean. Crabtree toiletries. After running sink water for a while, it became very hot. And it could not be adjusted. Informed reception and they sent someone up but he couldn't help as well and asked us to use the bath tub spout instead. Not sure how this can be resolved."

"Nice location and walking distance to the city centre. Spacious room. The only issue is that there is no public restroom at the hotel and the staff restroom is not open for guest use. So if you have an early flight and you’re not able to check in yet (or after you’ve checked out), you have to find and pay for some other public restrooms nearby."

"Hotel location is next to transportation hub which is really good as we were travelling across with Eurostar. Bedroom was really spacious and comfortable to stay. air con was really powerful during the summer heat. Only would recommend to have brighter lightings in the toilet as its a lil dark."

"Overall, my stay was quite good. Let's start with the pros: The hotel's location is excellent, just about a 15-minute walk directly from the train station. It's surrounded by many attractions, and shopping and dining are incredibly convenient – there are numerous restaurants and shops right downstairs. The bed in the room was just the right firmness, and although the space wasn't huge, the layout was well-designed, making for a very comfortable stay. The soundproofing was also ideal, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The only downside was the elevator efficiency. During peak hours (especially in the evening), you might have to wait for more than 5 minutes, which can be a bit troublesome if you're in a hurry. My advice is to avoid using it during busy times or allow for extra buffer time."

"This is an airport hotel, offering a shuttle bus service and featuring a flight information screen in the lobby, clearly catering to airport travelers. It wasn't very crowded; the whole hotel felt quite empty. It's close to Diegem station, about a 12-minute walk, but it's mostly uphill and downhill, so it can be a bit tiring. The hotel breakfast was great, very rich and satisfying. There's a shuttle bus schedule in the lobby; I took the 8:45 AM bus, which arrived at the airport around 9 AM."

"Super Stylish and well maintained and clean. The service was great and the team from reception to bar staff were brilliant. The location was ok, but we were quite happy with a little walk, the first day it was about 25 minutes to the old town but not so picturesque. The following day we took a little stroll through a garden route to town which was much nicer. We were there for a concert, which was about a 20 minute taxi drive. We used the facilities from the roof top bar, enjoying the tacos and cocktails of an evening, as well as breakfast on the Sunday. We also used the lobby bar which was very relaxed. We didn't get around to trying the Peruvian restaurant, but it looked nice."
