"Staff are generally very friendly. Breakfast buffet was also good. Both light and heavy options. Room was clean, the beds/mattresses were sagging. The bathroom could be treated with antifungal spray. A few cracks in the toilet could also be better closed because of the cockroaches, which fortunately quickly hid again."

"We really enjoyed staying at The Rif. The hotel seems to be new and has excellent facilities for a family. We only went to one restaurant outside of the buffet and we liked it. I recommend that you make a reservation as soon as possible (10am), because I got the time wrong and when I went to make the second reservation at the end of the day, there were no more vacancies. My mistake! These are two resorts that work as one. From what I understand, guests at The Rif can freely access all the facilities of the other, but not vice versa! But honestly, I didn't see any control. The Rif is more intimate, has better drinks than its sister hotel and the pool is much calmer than the other one! That's just one characteristic. If you want more excitement, go to Mangrove. If you want something more calm, go to The Rif. The Rif is newer too! It has a water park that is really cool, for all ages! The buffet restaurant is the same for everyone. I actually found it very good, with an absurd variety of food that leaves us confused when choosing what to eat. Outside meal times, you can get quick snacks at a couple of kiosks, especially at Mangrove. The beach, while not the most beautiful compared to the rest of Curaçao's beaches, is more than enough for the hotel, and you can swim as much as you want in its comfortable waters! Many people complain about the view, because the cruise ship dock is right in front of it. We were lucky that there were no cruise ships on any of the three days we stayed there. The service... Well! This is its Achilles heel! In fact, the service is not bad, it is just dry, grumpy and most of the time, even if you thank them, they don't even give you a slight smile. It seems like everyone hates working. I must point out, however, that this is a general rule in Curaçao. It seems like everyone is always in a bad mood! I don't understand why! So, at the Riff it would be no different! There is draft beer, sparkling wine, wine and other drinks available all the time! In short: When I return to Curaçao, I will certainly stay there for 3 or 4 nights to rest!"

"This is the first time I stayed at this hotel. I was very satisfied and would recommend. It's about a 5 mins walk from restaurants, shops and night life. Felt safe to walk in this area at night. Check-in with Armandy was swift and pleasant. Very knowledgeable about the area and eager to assist. The room was clean and housekeeping was very accessible, friendly and always willing to assist. However the bed was very soft. I think it's about time the hotel replace the mattress. There is a mini fridge in the room but there isn't a microwave. The staff offered to reheat my food but they should have a microwave in the room for convenience. The hotel arranged transportation to the Sambil mall for $20USD (one-way) as well as hotel to the airport for $30USD. This was much better than the airport taxi that charged $45USD (airport to hotel). Overall an excellent experience with Elements hotel and shops."

"The hotel is very well located and has great facilities. The large pool and whirlpool are very pleasant. Free beach towel service is available. The gardens are well-kept. The restaurant and bar have excellent and delicious options, but the prices are a little higher than those of central restaurants, which is understandable given the convenience. The service is very friendly. My only dissatisfaction is with the room, which needs renovation and modernization. It is old, the bed is old, and the bathroom is ugly."

"Es ist ein Hotel Garni und kein klassisches Hotel. Für den Preis von 170€/Tag in der Nebensaison ist es zu teuer, weil es die Leistung nicht erbringt. Es ist sehr zentral und ruhig in Nähe der Emma-Brücke gelegen. Es gibt kein eigenes Restaurant, nur eine Poolbar von 14-22 Uhr. Der Frühstücksbereich ist in einem anderen Hotel THE FREEDOM CAFE (nicht sehr gut; siehe Bewertung) von 7-10.30 Uhr ca. 5 Gehminuten entfernt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und ist bemüht. Alle Zimmer in Haus-B hatten keine Fenster, was man öffnen kann. Das ist sehr unangenehm, wenn man Frischluft für den Schlaf braucht. Der Topper auf dem Bett rutscht immer heraus, weil dieser nicht fixiert werden kann. Wenn man Glück hat, was selten vorkommt, parkt direkt vor dem Fenster ein Kreuzfahrtschiff, die sonst im Außenhafen anlegen. Leider gibt es rund ums Hotel viele verfallene Häuser, die betrüblich wirken."

"We had rented the apartment with sea view. When we arrived at the hotel it had no standard apartment de dispo so they upgraded us into a luxury apartment for one night. The decor, furniture, balcony and view 😍 The master's room with an extra king bed (4 large ears). The next day we were transferred to our apartment that was 2 floors lower and less well, only difference is the height of the ceilings and the deco and furniture. The staff were very friendly and helpful and they all made the switch of our baggage and food in the other room. The beach is very beautiful, the beach chairs are very confo, the drinks are good. The rest on the beach we eat the best sushi feet in the sand in addition. I recommend this hotel 100%."
