The service was wonderful. The staff were genuinely friendly, not just smiling because they had to. I had an issue with my room, and it was resolved very quickly and with great kindness. The hotel is located close to a market with several restaurants and two supermarkets, one of which is open 24 hours a day. It is also very close to Sea Life and the roller coaster attractions, making it a great choice for families and anyone planning to visit those areas. If your main goal is to visit the city centre, there are several bus routes and a tram stop right in front of the hotel. You can also rent a bike or an e-scooter and enjoy the ride through the park, which is a lovely option in good weather. If the weather is bad, the location is less convenient for getting to the city centre. However, when it isn't raining or extremely cold, the location is excellent and offers a much quieter, greener environment. One feature I really liked was the hotel's fantastic guest kitchen. I didn't use it myself, but it looked ideal for families travelling with children or for anyone planning a longer stay. The hotel also has a gym, a lovely rooftop terrace, and complimentary laundry facilities where you can wash and dry your clothes free of charge. There is also a sauna and a steam room, which are a great bonus after a day of sightseeing. I would definitely recommend this hotel for families with children or for travellers who don't need to be in the city centre all the time and would rather enjoy the surrounding parks and forests while still having easy access to the main attractions.

There was no staff at the checkin counter and we were struggling outside for 10mins before we found the help button to get to the lobby. When we got in, the receptionist helped us with an early checkin since Trip.com doesn't send you the checkin code. The amenities were great and the room was clean. You would have to get the hair dryer and ironing board from the lift lobby outside the room though.

The staff was very friendly and they gave us a quiet room so we could sleep well (we barely heard any noises from other rooms other than the TV). The breakfast was varied and the food was good! the location is very convenient, within walking distance of many tourist spots, shopping centres and the main train station, tram, buses etc. The only thing we would suggest is to include at least water and other amenities in the room for that price per night other than shampoo/gel (there is no toothbrush or toothpaste, there isn't a fridge either or even spoons for the tea/instant drink) and there seems to be less stuff and you pay the same price or more.

Clean and new looking. Online check-in and check-out work well. Just be aware that you can online check-in even if your room is not available yet and no one will tell you when it is available — you will have to sit around and go to check the availability from the self-service check-in every once in a while. When I asked staff at the desk, they just said the check-in is at 16 and they don’t know about the availabilities and that I should try the self-service again in half an hour intervals. Breakfast was good, was hoping to find more fresh fruit and common breakfast drinks like orange juice and hot chocolate. The room could’ve had something to place shoes on, especially during winter all the snow just melted directly onto the floorboards.

Overall, my recent stay with Bob W was disappointing. I booked the 4-person penthouse room primarily for the use of the sauna on my last day of the trip. Firstly, pin code provided was only valid for door access to the stairs, not door to the elevator side at night. This became a significant inconvenience, especially for a female traveler like myself who arrived at night after a tiring flight. Having to carry a 20kg luggage and a 10kg carry-on up five flights of stairs was both physically demanding and frustrating. Clear arrangements on how to access the elevator at night should have been considered for guest. Secondly, check-in process was not clearly communicated, causing panic upon arrival. Unfortunately, I had to seek help from customer service on a third-party booking site and reach out via email to obtain a check-in link, which added unnecessary stress and confusion. Furthermore, instruction for turning on the sauna were unclear, and I was unable to enjoy it until the next morning at 8am, just few hours before my checkout time. I had specifically chosen the penthouse room with the sauna for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. due to the lack of clear instructions, and had to seek assistance to figure out how to operate it properly, which ate into the limited time I had available to enjoy the amenity. In conclusion, my stay with Bob W fell short of my expectations. The limited time to enjoy the amenities, issues during the check-in process and accessing the elevator, made for a less than satisfactory experience. I hope that Bob W seriously takes feedback into consideration and makes the necessary improvements to ensure a more enjoyable stay for travelers in the future. Thank you

Excellent location for those needing quick and easy access to the airport, just a few meters away. The breakfast is excellent and starts at 4:00 AM, which is great for early flights. The room was very clean, comfortable, with a comfortable bed and very clean linens.

The room was good enough and clean for the price. The only downside was the missing power outlet next to the bed. I use a sleep apnea device and it was a bit difficult to plug the plug into the only power outlet close enough, which was at the head of the bed under the bed. This meant I couldn't use the night light.

Comfortable stay with friendly service I stayed here as a solo traveller and had a very good experience. The rooms are spacious, modern and well maintained. The bed was comfortable, although a bit on the soft side. The breakfast was good, with plenty of choice, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful. The location is convenient, with shops and a metro station nearby. It’s not the most central hotel in Helsinki, but getting around is easy. The only downside was the bathroom. Showering in the bathtub feels a bit outdated and getting in and out isn’t very practical. Overall, a comfortable hotel with good service. I would definitely stay here again.

In my experience, hotels of this size and price always have a coffee maker and/or an electric kettle for tea in each room—even the standard ones—but ours did not have either. In addition, the shower controls in the very tight shower are not easy to figure out, and the temperature was set to scalding hot, so be very careful. Our room was quite small and dated. However, the bed was comfortable and the bedding was nice quality, so overall it was fine for our three-night stay.

Very friendly staff. The breakfast is nice, with a wide variety of choices. The location is quite good and it’s just minutes walking distance to the nearest tram stop. The only negative thing is the size of the bathroom. It’s too small to have a substantial place to place your shaver, toothbrush set, and your clothes. Even in the bath, the shampoo, conditioner and body wash bottles have partial of them hanging in the air. Other than that, this hotel is perfect for a short stay in Helsinki!
