"Where to stay in Luyang District? Shangri-La, of course! Don't ask me how I know, I've experienced it firsthand (quiet, clean, and fully equipped). The rooms are quite spacious, just a bit dated in terms of decor. They could definitely add an air purifier. The breakfast selection isn't huge, but it's peaceful, which I really like. The coffee is decent, though there aren't many Western breakfast options."

"Finally, we were able to experience the Grand Hyatt Hefei during this spring break, and it was a wonderful 2-night staycation! The Regency Deluxe Twin room was perfect - very clean, spacious, well appointed and with great city views. We enjoyed the onsen style bath in the room; the pool, steam and sauna facilities were all good. Room service was great, satisfying the midnight cravings of my family. Breakfast had an awesome spread - a balanced variety of local and western dishes. Dinner and drinks at the Club Lounge were pretty good, even for vegetarians. Drink selection was curated very well even if a bit limited. It was a great place to hang out after dinner and drinks, especially after we convinced our family friends to check in and join us the next nigh. Also, shoutout to the great service from the lovely club lounge staff! Special thanks to Lily, our WeChat contact, who went above expectations in being proactive and supported all our needs. We brought up something for improvement that aligns with current industry practice and she happily resolved it during our stay. Great customer service for sure!"

"Hands down, this is the best five-star hotel in Hefei! Especially the food quality, it's top-notch! 1. **Service**: They contacted me via WeChat a day in advance to confirm my needs. Upon arrival, everything was perfectly arranged, and my room was upgraded. I also received welcome fruits and drinks. From the moment I stepped out of the car to the lobby and then to the front desk, multiple staff members proactively offered to help with my luggage. Every staff member I encountered, from the entrance to my room, greeted me with a smile. When checking out, the doorman actively assisted with my luggage. 2. **Facilities**: The room facilities were all standard and complete, including an air purifier. The AC had low noise, and hot water was instant (within 3 seconds). I didn't find any damaged facilities or noticeable hygiene issues. The toiletries were InterContinental's standard, and they were decent. The toilet paper and tissue paper were comfortable to use. The toothbrush quality was acceptable, but the brush head was small and a bit hard on the gums; I suggest the hotel consider changing them. 3. **Dining (see pictures)**: The variety and taste of the food at the Executive Lounge's Happy Hour were the best I've ever experienced at a hotel – truly excellent value for money! The breakfast quality was also remarkably high, rarely seen even in standard five-star hotels; it was simply stunning. 4. **Location**: It's in the government district, with all amenities nearby and convenient transportation. It's also right next to Swan Lake, offering excellent views. I rarely bother to write reviews, but this time, I genuinely enjoyed my stay and had to give it a thumbs-up! I hope to visit again."

"This isn't my first time in Hefei, but it's my first stay at the Westin. **Cleanliness**: The room was incredibly clean, truly spotless. **Service**: We were traveling with an elderly person, so we made a request in advance. While our room didn't have a front-facing view, it was very conveniently located near the elevator. The young ladies who helped us check in and add an extra bed were both very kind. The check-in and check-out process was simple and quick. **Dining**: The breakfast was excellent and varied, and ordering from the Chinese restaurant was easy. This hotel offers incredible value for money; it stands out even among other hotels of the same caliber. Highly recommended – I'll definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Hefei!"

Stayed on the 25th floor, enjoying a romantic 'cloud-top' experience with a dazzling night view! And wow, the 29th-floor revolving restaurant offers a 360-degree panoramic view of Hefei's cityscapes! The female manager in the suit was incredibly thoughtful and attentive, making me feel so welcome! I discreetly found out her last name is Qin, hehe. Booked through Trip.com, and the value for money was absolutely amazing!!! So happy, yay!"

The business center provides services like printing, binding, and airport transfers, making it very business-traveler friendly. 4. **Excellent Service & Family-Friendly:** The front desk is very responsive, and guests often receive complimentary fruit and milk upon check-in. Cribs and children's slippers are available. There's also an indoor heated pool, sauna, and a usable gym. 5. **Great Value for Money:** During peak season, lake-view rooms are priced at 600–800 RMB per night, which is more reasonable compared to new hotels of a similar caliber."

"A perfect stay! Before check-in, Manager Hu helped prepare a holiday cake, a gift signing ceremony, and room decorations. On the day of check-in, the front desk manager greeted us at the building entrance, and a young lady from the front desk, Ms. Chen, escorted us to the restaurant and our room. The biggest surprise was the hotel restaurant's set menu, priced at just over 500 yuan. It was exquisitely prepared and delicious, and they even gave us a bouquet of roses – a truly delightful surprise! The hotel is located on an island and is Hefei's state guesthouse, similar in style to the Xijiao Hotel in Shanghai. The stay experience far surpassed that of a typical Western-style five-star hotel. "This veteran five-star hotel, though a bit aged, is exceptionally well-maintained, especially in its service. From department managers to the cleaning staff, everyone greets you with a warm smile, making you feel truly welcomed. For just over 600 yuan, a standard room with breakfast for two offers excellent value for money. The hotel boasts a prime location with incredibly convenient transport links; the Line 1 subway station is right downstairs. Since we stayed for four consecutive days, on our last day, the lobby manager personally escorted us to the executive lounge to enjoy complimentary afternoon tea and an evening light meal, and even upgraded our room to an executive room. Thanks to the convenient transport, we primarily used the subway for sightseeing, which was both fast and economical. The breakfast spread was extensive and delicious. The Chinese restaurant also offered a rich variety of dishes at very reasonable prices."
