"The location is superb. It's just a few minutes' walk to the Potala Palace. Downstairs, there are plenty of restaurants and shops. The restaurant on the sixth floor offers excellent views of the Potala Palace, perfect for both sunrise and sunset. The room boasts a rare 180-degree view of the Potala Palace, which is a wonderful treat. The hotel facilities are excellent, including oxygen concentrators available for both diffused and nasal use. The service is impeccable; the front desk staff are always incredibly helpful whenever needed. The hotel also has a laundry room and a reading room."

"Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay at The St. Regis Lhasa Resort. A special thanks to front desk staff member Riri for doing her best to coordinate a suitable room according to my request. Also, the butler and maintenance technician resolved an air conditioning issue in the middle of the night. The professionalism, dedication, and enthusiasm of all the staff at The St. Regis Lhasa Resort, from top to bottom, brought warmth and moved us during our time in Lhasa. There's no distinction of 'high or low' among people; hotel guests and staff simply have different roles and responsibilities. The key lies in how guests' concerns are addressed and the attitude and problem-solving approach of the staff when issues arise. We had booked a basic room, but because I'm sensitive to noise, Riri helped us upgrade to a quieter room. The air conditioning in our room would turn on automatically after being turned off. Around 1 AM, the maintenance technician came back and forth three times. Eventually, they decided to turn off the AC's circuit breaker and fix it the next day (which they did). Before we left, they even sent a small gift as an apology. Breakfast was decent, but I'd describe it as exquisite in presentation, bland in taste, and lacking variety. However, I've also tried meals at the Shangri-La Lhasa, the Crowne Plaza Linzhi, and the Songtsam Bason Co Linka, where some ingredients are even transported from Sichuan in advance due to special circumstances. The taste is generally similar across the board. Given the challenging environment, I believe they've done their best to achieve this level. Regarding some of the room's hardware, there's definitely room for improvement, and the hotel itself is aware of this. I hope to see improvements in the future. "On my一路318 self-drive trip, I stayed at all Songtsam's Tibet properties, and the scenery at Basongcuo is indeed stunning. You can see snow-capped mountains from the room, and the hotel's hardware configuration is top-notch within the Linka series. The butler service was also excellent. However, the staff at the scenic area entrance were truly awful. At Nanga Bawa Mountain Retreat and Lhagu, you just need to register to enter the scenic area. But at Basongcuo, even as a guest, you still need a ticket. That's fine, but first, they made us park aside to buy tickets and register. Then, as soon as we finished, a car with local plates immediately blocked the entrance, preventing us from entering. When we tried to communicate and ask what was going on, the security staff actually started yelling at us. For a national five-star scenic area, this is completely unacceptable. I suggest the hotel follow the example of the other two Songtsam properties and incorporate the ticket fee into the room rate for direct entry, to avoid such situations, or have a hotel staff member at the scenic area entrance to welcome and guide guests."

"Extremely satisfied! The hotel is very close to Barkhor Street and Potala Palace, both within walking distance, making its location absolutely superb! The hotel elevator goes directly to the 6th floor, where there's a popular cafe that's perfect for photos. Atour is a chain, so it's very clean and well-equipped with a light luxury feel. The Dyson hairdryer, high-quality pajamas, Peet's coffee, and a coffee machine are all highlights. Most importantly, the hotel also offers a video shoot of the 'dryland scallion pulling' experience, a welcome gift, and afternoon tea/coffee! There's also a butler service; you can just WeChat them if you need anything. Truly excellent! 👍🏻"

"I had a very comfortable three-night, four-day stay at the Nyingchi Crown Plaza, which was truly an unexpected highlight of my Tibet trip. I simply have to give them genuine praise. 👍 First, the service was incredibly thoughtful. We were greeted with a welcome dance upon arrival, and every evening we received a complimentary 'goodnight' drink and fruit. The room was always impeccably cleaned, and they even helped fold clothes and wash socks (which I was so grateful for!). 💐 The hotel's decor and aesthetics are wonderful; both the lobby and rooms are spacious and beautiful. Our room had a view of the snow-capped mountains, and there were free ******* incense making classes and afternoon tea experiences available. 🥞 The breakfast selection was very rich and satisfying every morning. The sweet tea was delicious, and the stone pot chicken for lunch was also quite good. I've already recommended it to friends and hope to stay here again if I ever return to Nyingchi.💖"

"I checked into the Dekang Hotel on the 24th, and it's a typical Tibetan-style hotel. As soon as I walked into the lobby, I was impressed by the exquisite decor and furnishings. The room was spacious, bright, well-equipped, and very clean. The owner was very kind and thoughtful. The front desk and staff were all very welcoming, making me feel right at home, so I extended my stay by two more days. The hotel's price is excellent compared to others in the area! The breakfast was rich and varied, with dishes, meat, eggs, and fruit, plus butter tea, tsampa, and yogurt – the milk was especially delicious! There's also an Indian restaurant on the fifth floor of the hotel, and plenty of other dining options nearby. You can find the famous Lhasa internet-famous Cuomu Liangfen (cold noodles), Lao Chengdu's Sichuan restaurant, and some great ******* restaurants. So many delicious choices, I couldn't try them all! Getting around from the hotel is super convenient. It's a short walk to Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Street, and just a few stops by bus to the East Gate of Potala Palace Square, costing only 1 yuan. This truly lives up to its reputation as a hidden gem for tourists visiting Lhasa."

"Exceptional service from start to finish! The moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted, helped with our luggage, offered water, and even presented with a Hada (a traditional ******* scarf). They escorted us all the way to our room, and their attitude was incredibly friendly throughout, with no hint of perfunctoriness. The room features smart controls for lighting and curtains, which was very convenient. But I have to give a special shout-out to the massage chair! It was a lifesaver for soothing aches and pains after a long road trip – they truly understand what guests need. The room was spacious and clean, and the underfloor heating was already on, providing a cozy warmth in the high-altitude winter.
