"We booked a total of 5 nights through Trip.com. Unfortunately, 3 of those nights were unsuitable for proper rest due to serious problems with the room. There was an extremely strong and unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom, which persisted for a long time. We reported the problem several times to the reception and also contacted the hotel by email, but unfortunately the issue was not adequately resolved. The smell was so strong that when we left the hotel, our clothes and personal belongings had absorbed the unpleasant smell, as well as the strong scent of the air freshener that was used to try to cover it. We fully understand that a technical problem or unpleasant smell may not necessarily be caused directly by the hotel. However, we believe that dealing with such a problem properly and in a timely manner is the hotel's responsibility. We booked this hotel in order to relax and enjoy our holiday, but unfortunately this was not possible. This was particularly difficult as we were travelling with our 8-year-old child, and our sleep was significantly disturbed for 3 nights. Despite reporting the problem several times, we did not receive any compensation or adequate solution from the hotel during our stay. We were also disappointed with the breakfast. We found the selection to be very limited and repetitive, and in our opinion it did not meet the standard we would reasonably expect from a 5-star hotel. Overall, we feel that the quality of the service and the conditions during our stay did not correspond to the standard advertised for a 5-star hotel."

"I recently stayed at the Mercure Hotel, and overall, my experience was very positive. The hotel stands out for its excellent cleanliness, comfortable surroundings, and efficient services. Regarding the location, the hotel isn't in the absolute city center, but this was a conscious choice on my part; I preferred to rely on the reliability and standards of the Mercure brand. In any case, this wasn't an issue as the city center is quickly accessible, and local taxis are very affordable. The only minor inconvenience I encountered – which I'm bringing to Trip.com's attention so they can follow up with their partner – was regarding the application of the city tax. Even though I was traveling alone, during check-out, the hotel initially demanded payment for two people, based solely on the fact that I had booked a double room. However, the city tax applies to the individual staying overnight, not the room itself. The taxable event is the actual overnight stay of a single guest. Although the issue was eventually resolved, I feel it's important to report it to prevent other solo travelers from encountering the same problem. Overall, it's a highly recommended hotel where I would gladly return."

"The environment is elegant and comfortable! Good service attitude, the room is clean and tidy and bright! The window is Spanish style and can be opened! The room details are in place, even a small bottle of perfume! Breakfast is rich, even white wine! The five-star hotels here cannot be compared with China. There are 12 rooms on each floor with a total of 7 floors, which is a mini five-star hotel."

"The staff were very friendly and helpful because there were no problems during the stay. The hotel was very friendly and the hotel was very friendly and the Check-in was only at 17:00 because a current failure prevented us from knowing which room we had. We had almost no cold water and had to take a very hot shower, not very pleasant when it makes more than 40° out. The climate doesn't work very well but it's supportable. From 3e days the lift was in pantheon. We didn't open the room window because the smell was unsupportable and the noise of the motorway too. Breakfast was simple but good and enough. The swimming pool is aging, the photos dated from a long time ago. In general it is correct for the price and especially thanks to the staff that is very kind and helpful."

GGuest UserFeedback Following Our Recent Stay Dear Management team, I tried to enjoy the stay but there were items that were very unprofessionally done. In our toom the TV was on NO signal were i reported it 3 times and then i gave up. Bathroom mirror light was not working with wires coming out from behind the mirror which were dangers. In the room there was no rack were you put the luggage we have to put it on the floor and we need to neel on the floor get out our items from my luggage (a person of 62 year old). We were at the 2 second floor and smell of rubbish was coming from the lifts shafts and from the stairs mostly all 6 days in the hotel. Food was Good but it need to get better with better training. I could see in a particular days the team was driven well and in order other days everything with the flow. At the entrance there is a pool on the left side but when you swim or walk in it pool bed tiles come out and missing this is very unprofessional work of upkeep. THe main pool which is the most centre of attraction which is nice and good they never hover the pool floor, when move in it you can feel the dust gravel under your feet. Waiters in the bars in some days were so exposited working for long hours in the hot environment staff cant stay for long time in such conditions. Pool floor deck needs high attention in the main whole they got tiles broken and not leveled you can easily get an accident. Wifi in the pool areas were not all supported and in the areas that were reached the banquet of internet was low. I work in hospitality and to improved your standards the management team need to go to the table and start working in the areas to get better and more profenialy. Serving the clients is not an easy job but there this that can make you all better and in higher standard. I'm not saying that everything was wrong but to get high level the management team need to work on several areas as i mentioned. I am not write this to make you feel bad but you have a wonderful place but with the new competitions around you can lose the market and the clients so start making yourself better and all staff work in teams with good strategy and results. At the end I don't need any compensation but its can help you be better. Regards, Grech (CEO in hospitality) I will not upload photos I don't want any harm. But I you need to seen on what i was referring I will send these to the management only.

PPéter MelájWe booked a total of 5 nights through Trip.com. Overall, we feel that the quality of the service and the conditions during our stay did not correspond to the standard advertised for a 5-star hotel.

RRamya MurugeshI stayed here for 5 nights and I highly recommend this hotel. The location is convenient. Nice atmosphere with a beautiful rooftop terrace restaurant and a swimming pool. The terrace restaurant's food and desserts are top-notch. Lovely staff and very helpful ❤️ I’ll definitely choose this hotel again if I come back to Tirana 🇦🇱

ХХанамThere are a lot of minuses, let's start with the main ones. If you are a blonde, please wear a cap if you go to the pool. I have an ash blonde that I have been trying to achieve for many years, but after their pool my hair turned green. I don't know what they add to the pool! At the time of check-in, when paying in $ cash, they told me that we accept either local currency or €. I decided to pay by card, but the hotel took an extra $30, I didn't notice right away, but as soon as I noticed, I wrote to technical support. When technical support contacted the hotel, the hotel denied that they took an extra $30 from me. Despite the fact that I have a receipt for payment for $30 more and a bank statement. They denied that they took $30 from me, despite the fact that I have all the evidence. When I personally went to the reception to sort it out, they told me that it wasn't them who took $30, but they should have taken $30 because they were converting from dollars to euros from euros to their local currency and this conversion would cost $30. But supposedly the bank was billing me this amount, not the hotel itself, although the bill itself was billed on behalf of the hotel. I didn't like that at all. There were no slippers in the rooms, by the way, they didn't deny that they didn't have slippers. Very strange behavior from the staff. Their breakfasts only last 2 hours and cost €10, but for some reason the breakfast is extremely meager, it's easier to have breakfast for the same amount in a nearby cafe.

GGuest UserI recently stayed at the Mercure Hotel, and overall, my experience was very positive. Overall, it's a highly recommended hotel where I would gladly return.

Great
GGuest Userupreme Hotel truly exceeded my expectations. Every detail from the room to the warmth of the staff reflected exceptional hospitality. The sea view was breathtaking, the facilities were spotless, and the breakfast spread offered a perfect balance of local and international choices and tested absolutely amazing. What made my stay stand out most was the professionalism and friendliness of the team. They were always ready to help, whether with local recommendations or arranging small touches that made me feel valued as a guest. I’d recommend this hotel without hesitation to anyone visiting Durrës, whether for leisure or business. it’s the ideal blend of comfort, quality, and authentic Albanian hospitality. If I can add more stars I would 😀

CCyril 83The staff were very friendly and helpful because there were no problems during the stay. In general it is correct for the price and especially thanks to the staff that is very kind and helpful.

GGuest UserIt was a lovely place in a private road. There was a pool and garden area that was well maintained with sun beds, table and chairs. You could walk through a path through trees close by where there was a beach. You can swim here and there are sun beds and some shade. There are a number of cafes on the seafront and it felt safe and contained. It’s not far to Durrës or more places in Golem main resort and we walked down there once. The Vila is well maintained and we had a friendly welcome. Thank you.

Amazing
GGuest UserLoved the pool and vibe there! A quick bus ride to the city centre (Skanderbeg Square) and buses 8 and 11 both go there (40 lekk in coins to catch it) and a good store across the street and a pizza calzone place up the street. If walking, I recommend walking from the square rather than to the square as going to the square is uphill. A nice place overall! :)
