Choosing this hotel for my Sanya trip was such a smart decision! The location is absolutely fantastic, right by the sea, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The room was clean, tidy, spacious, and bright, with excellent natural light and views. From my sea-view room, opening the window revealed nothing but the clear blue sea and sky – the sea breeze was wonderfully refreshing. The hotel's environment is elegant and tranquil, surrounded by lush greenery, creating a great atmosphere. The pool was clean and comfortable too. The staff were warm, polite, and provided thoughtful, attentive service, making for an excellent stay. The breakfast offered a rich variety of delicious options. Overall, the value for money is superb. It's my top choice for a relaxing getaway, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Sanya. Highly recommend!

My stay was initially quite pleasant. The front-line staff were consistently warm, attentive, and thoughtful throughout. When a small issue arose with our travel photos, the hotel promptly communicated and resolved it, which I appreciated. I thought I was going to have a wonderful experience, but it was completely ruined by one utterly unprofessional staff member, plummeting my satisfaction! While riding the shuttle bus, we politely asked the shuttle driver about the hotel's attractions and photo spots. The driver was halfway through explaining when another person nearby suddenly interjected and answered for him! Her attitude was extremely rude, cold, and dismissive. She was sarcastic the entire time, even accusing us of not speaking clearly. We were just asking basic, straightforward questions about attractions, and I truly don't understand how we could have possibly expressed ourselves more 'clearly'. When we politely asked about photo spots, she flat-out said there weren't any, and was incredibly impatient. Yet, later we saw clear signs for photo spots all over the hotel. We got zero useful information, only a belly full of frustration and anger! Afterward, the hotel told us this person was a 'secondary employee' and wasn't on duty, which is why she wasn't wearing an ID badge. I completely reject this flimsy explanation! Why was she wearing a uniform, riding a guest shuttle, and casually interjecting to address guests if she wasn't on duty? It's one thing to be unfamiliar with hotel operations and lack service awareness, but she didn't even have basic human decency. She seemed to be working with a chip on her shoulder, acting condescendingly, as if we, the guests, were accommodating her bad mood! In stark contrast, all the other shuttle drivers were kind, friendly, patient, and enthusiastic, creating an incredibly jarring difference! The hotel's reputation, carefully built by its front-line staff, was completely destroyed by this 'secondary employee' who showed no rules, no professionalism, and no respect. The hotel merely offered a casual explanation of her identity without any indication of intending to improve. Such tolerance for employee misconduct is truly disheartening. I will never recommend this hotel, nor will I ever stay here again!

Excellent Service: The front desk staff are welcoming, rooms are cleaned meticulously, and they offer 24/7 responsiveness. You can borrow cribs, sand toys, and umbrellas, making it very family-friendly. Fantastic Breakfast: Over 60 items available with extended hours (6:30 AM–10:30 AM), including Hainanese noodles, freshly made noodles, and a full selection of Chinese and Western dishes. Ample Amenities: Features a thousand-square-meter swimming pool, a kids' water park, a gym, free parking, and a shuttle service to the duty-free shop. Great Value for Money: This established five-star hotel is 30%–50% cheaper than newer hotels, making it perfect for budget travelers and families. In a nutshell: An established five-star hotel in Dadonghai, with its location and breakfast being the main draws. While the facilities are a bit older, they are well-maintained, offering incredible value. It's the top choice for families with kids and budget-conscious travelers.

This is our second stay at this hotel, and it was just as satisfying as the first, which is why we chose it again for our vacation. The overall living experience at the hotel is very comfortable, the room offers expansive views, and the sea view is particularly beautiful, making for a truly pleasant stay. We heard that an undersea tunnel and a grand theater are currently under construction near the hotel, part of a Sanya municipal project, which is completely understandable. The hotel's breakfast buffet is excellent, with a rich variety of dishes and great flavors – we were very happy with it. As we traveled during the May Day holiday, there were quite a few guests, so a larger crowd was to be expected. The overall service was 10/10 thoughtful and attentive, and the value for money is excellent. We're always happy to choose this place whenever we come to Sanya and will definitely return!

We booked a twin room, but upon arrival, we were upgraded to a sea-view room. The room was beautiful, and we could see the coastline and hear the waves right from the balcony. The beach was just downstairs, yet it was far enough from the beach parties at night that it wasn't noisy or damp. The hotel even included a travel photography session, which was a great experience. Next time I'm in Tianya Town, I'll definitely stay here again!

Service: First, I want to commend Lesly Huang for her enthusiastic and professional service. On the day of check-in, she arranged a room upgrade for us and seamlessly joined the twin beds, which made for a very comfortable sleep – truly the biggest bonus of this stay. The pool staff were also excellent, patiently accompanying the children to switch the water slide on and off, even under the hot sun. The restaurant staff were equally warm and accommodating. Kudos to the Sheraton Haikou for its excellent service! Cleanliness: Standard five-star hotel level, no issues there. Environment: See the pictures for details. The pool has large slides, separated for children and adults (operating during specific time slots daily), and there's a hot spring pool in the evening (very relaxing). One minor complaint: the hotel clearly has East and West wings, and the restaurant also has two entrances, but only the West wing entrance was open. We walked all the way from the East wing to the restaurant door, only to find a 'closed' sign, forcing us to turn back (either by going up and down floors or walking around the perimeter under the scorching sun). I suggest clearer signage on the path from the East wing to the restaurant. Facilities: Although the hotel is a bit older, the room equipment is generally well-maintained. Only some rooms have TV casting capabilities, so if you need this, inform the front desk in advance. The breakfast restaurant's tableware was the biggest letdown of this trip. For a five-star hotel's noodle bar, all the bowls were chipped. On the first day, I almost cut my mouth. Over two days, I picked up 4-6 chipped bowls – even an ordinary restaurant wouldn't do this. See the pictures for details. Not only was it unappetizing, but it also posed a safety hazard. I asked the restaurant manager, who said it was a quality issue with this batch of bowls, purchased only three months ago. It's unacceptable for a Sheraton to still be using bowls in this condition after three months. PS: The hotel is directly connected to the beach, no need to cross any roads. It's a 5-minute walk through the hotel grounds from the lobby to the sea. It's convenient for digging in the sand, and the beach is managed by the municipality and seemed quite clean. So, for a family vacation in Haikou, the Sheraton is still recommended.

An amazing guesthouse with stunning sea views, a truly fulfilling and enjoyable stay! The common areas have books and tea. The service was prompt and attentive, the hygiene impeccable, and the environment offered direct views of the ocean. The facilities are new and highly functional. Excellent value for money! I came with my girlfriends, and we kept saying ”Wow...” the moment we opened the door. We'll definitely be back! 😊

It’s amazing. This price is so comfortable and clean. The big swimming pool service is really amazing. It has been praised. It is especially suitable for self-driving tours. It is much more comfortable than many homestays next to it. I have been regretting that I didn’t come to live here on the first day. It is very suitable for self-driving tours. The front desk will call in advance to ask for the license plate number, what time will come, the store manager will come out to pick up, the service has nothing to say, great! ! ! ! Each house has its own swimming pool, the water is super clean and cool! !

Waking up to the ocean view right outside my window instantly lifted my spirits. This place is truly perfect for a vacation! The room was very clean and comfortable, and you could tell a lot of thought went into the bedding. They even provided pillows of different heights to choose from. The common area on the first floor and the rooftop are both super photogenic. It's so relaxing just sitting here and enjoying the scenery. Plus, it's super close to the beach, just a short walk away!

This is our second time choosing this hotel for our trip to Sanya. The rooms are exceptionally good, with a wide variety of room types. The private courtyard in the villa area is very distinctive. The pool water is clean, and there's a children's water slide. The kids practically lived in the pool! It's incredibly close to the beach, just a few steps away. You can even watch the sunset from the hotel. The service is excellent; as an established hotel, their management system is mature, and the service is top-notch. I heard they're planning renovations this year, which I'm really looking forward to. We'll definitely be choosing Coconut Grove Sea View Resort for our third visit to Sanya.
