Had an early flight, so I stayed here to avoid traffic and potential delays! Turns out a lot of people had the same idea – the check-in line was constantly busy, with quite a few guests holding passports! The room itself was nothing special, perfectly standard. Flights flew directly overhead, which did create some noise. However, it was a little exciting to watch at first! Thankfully, the soundproof windows were excellent; once closed, they blocked out almost all the noise. Parking was a bit limited, and there was no underground garage, which might be due to the building's age and design standards.

The location was great, but our room had no direct light from sun, and no windows opening on outside at all, with an A/C that was not working at all. The room was hot and not air moving, a terrible feeling. On top of that, the room was located just below the roof top that was undergoing construction work, which means lot of noise from early morning. The room is very old, walls are stained, clearly not looking like the booking site pictures. The hotel needs a big refresh. Right now the entire exterior is under construction, I hope you plan to do the rooms soon. Overall, not acceptable not to be informed that there is big construction work done at the moment, and having a room with no external ventilation and AC working should not even be commercialized. A rip off for the price paid.

Decided to try Manxin Mansion with a 'let's see' attitude, and it turned out to be a genuine Beijing courtyard hotel. My kids absolutely loved the Little Yellow Duck family suite, so we immediately extended our stay for another four nights at the front desk. The room was clean and odor-free, the best part being no smoke smell whatsoever. The staff were incredibly enthusiastic. They'd spot us from a distance and come over to help with our luggage. When we left, they personally saw us off at the station and even helped us mail our express package. I especially have to mention the hotel's memory foam pillows – they ensured I slept soundly every night until dawn. Loved them, loved them!

Details truly make all the difference. The moment I stepped in, I noticed a subtle, pleasant aroma, and the air conditioning and lighting were already set to a comfortable level. A special shout-out to the housekeeping staff; they cleaned my room meticulously every day, even organizing my charging cables – full marks! For this price point, the quality is simply top-notch. I couldn't find a single fault with either the cleanliness or the service. Not only was there no deposit required for check-in, but I also received a small gift upon check-out. Five stars, highly recommended!

Just arrived in Beijing and checked into this hotel, which is conveniently located near both the Temple of Heaven Park and Longtan Park. The room facilities are complete, and this hotel offers excellent value for money. They have 24-hour hot water and a wet/dry bathroom separation. It's close to Jinsong Station on Line 10 and Guangqumenwai Station on Line 7. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Beijing. There's a Jiangxi restaurant on the second floor and a BBQ hot pot place across the street, which is super convenient. Highly recommend!

For my trip to Beijing, I specifically chose Beiping Courtyard and stayed in a tatami room. The overall experience exceeded my expectations and was incredibly heartwarming. The courtyard is tucked away in a hutong, offering a quiet escape from the bustling city, exuding the charm of old Beijing. I was lucky to visit in May when the roses were in bloom, which really enhanced the atmosphere. The room was clean and cozy, and the tatami provided a relaxing and comfortable stay. The facilities were complete, and the attention to detail was impressive. The staff were all very friendly and easygoing, providing thoughtful yet unobtrusive service, making me feel as comfortable as if I were staying at a friend's house. The food at the hotel was authentic and delicious, made with quality ingredients. The overall slow pace was very therapeutic, and I had a wonderfully comfortable stay. I'll definitely come back next time I'm in Beijing!

Location is perfect if you’re going to do touristy attractions! We stayed for 3 nights and it’s very easy to get a taxi from there. It’s also 2min walking distance from the Wangfujing squares. Some English speaking staff so helpful not to use the app (rare in Beijing). Calvin was our doorman and he was LOVELY. He spoke English with us and was always smiling and helpful when we had bags or luggage etc. Breakfast options were great with a mix of western and Chinese cuisine. Easy to find vegetarian or non pork options. The executive lounge is OK but we were able to do late check out (4pm) so this was great.

A decent base for exploring outside Beijing, with a few pros and cons There are two subway stations around Dequan Hotel, but both are more than a 10-minute walk away. Renting a bicycle is highly recommended as it makes commuting much easier. Since the hotel is located in the outer suburbs of Beijing, getting into the city center takes over an hour and requires transferring between 2–3 metro lines. Beijing is huge, and attractions are far apart, usually taking at least an hour to reach. If you stay here, it’s best to plan activities that are outside the main city center. We stayed in a two-story loft room. The layout separates the space into two zones: the bathroom, sink, and a small sofa are downstairs, while the bed is on the upper floor. This means you’ll have to climb down the stairs if you need the bathroom in the middle of the night. The window in our room overlooked nearby rooftops, offering a wide, unobstructed view. On the downside, there was a bad smell coming from the bathroom drain, and the fridge in the pantry didn't work at all, despite us checking both the plug and the switch. The breakfast had a mix of options. The freshly made dishes were mostly vegetables, which was great for health-conscious travelers. There was also a section for steamed and fried convenience foods. However, the bread was dry and tasteless. The salad and dressings were good, and they provided coffee, ice, filtered water, and a microwave. The hotel rents out part of a larger building, and right next door, you'll find restaurants and a supermarket. Don't forget to stop by and check them out!

I was very satisfied with my stay in Beijing this time. I stayed for 9 nights and didn't want to leave! Next time I come to Beijing, I'll definitely stay here again. The hotel's location is super convenient. It's an easy walk to Xidan subway station, which gets you to most of the core attractions. To get to Badaling Great Wall, you can take the subway directly to Xizhimen Beijing North Station and then a high-speed train, which takes only 30 minutes. Tiananmen Square and the National Museum are just two stops away. Taxis are also readily available. The room was cleaned thoroughly every day, with no strange odors. They were very prompt with restocking room amenities. My mom really liked the slippers, saying they were good quality. The twin beds (1.35m) were spacious and comfortable. There's also a sofa and a round table, which was handy for eating takeout and temporary work. The room was bright and roomy; we could spread out several suitcases without feeling cramped. Oh, and there's a free laundry room. I didn't use the gym, but there's also a public study room on the 8th floor. We didn't book breakfast, but there are two breakfast places around the hotel, and ordering delivery was also very convenient. Lunch and dinner were never a problem, with direct access to Joy City and various surrounding malls. There's every kind of food imaginable – famous Peking duck, hot pot, Zhajiangmian... I took my grandma and child and we had Peking duck 3 times in 8 days, haha! Manager Shen at the front desk was incredibly enthusiastic and helpful. Any requests could be handled via WeChat at any time. Thumbs up for her excellent service! The hotel management should definitely give Manager Shen a bonus!

This is the first time I've stayed at such a satisfying hotel in Beijing! It's super close to the subway station, just a quick turn after exiting Dongsi Station, Exit D. Right across from the hotel is Longfu Temple, offering a wide array of creative shops and restaurants. Right at the hotel community entrance is Yuanshan Korean Restaurant, which was a real treat. In the hotel lobby, you can even make your own traditional Beijing 'Tu'er Ye' (Rabbit God) rubbing. In the evening, I enjoyed a nightcap at the nearby Sanjiren Bar, a perfect way to unwind. The hotel facilities are also very comprehensive, with a separate wet and dry bathroom, a smart toilet, and convenient laundry and drying services. The room's overall design is rustic and simple, and the warm yellow lighting creates a very cozy atmosphere. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Beijing.
