Stepping into the hot spring, the steam slowly rose over the bluestone, and I looked up to see green mountains and bamboo shadows. The water temperature was perfectly set at 41 degrees Celsius, and the scent of herbs mingled with the steam. We leaned against the pool wall, neither of us speaking – the mist enveloped the bluestone, and above us were verdant hills, flowing clouds, and the warm spring water infused with herbal fragrance, making us completely relax. In the evening, we scattered rose petals 🌹 and watched the sunset paint the mountain peaks red, with a sky full of stars above, a sight rarely seen in the city. A gentle mountain breeze blew, and the warmth from the hot spring enveloped our bodies, a warmth that seemed to seep out from our very bones. We soaked until almost 11 PM, reluctant to leave. The guesthouse front desk also mentioned hiking, so we quickly put on our sneakers and headed out. We reached halfway up the mountain just in time for sunset, and the twilight glow was incredibly vibrant, almost surreal – it was absolutely breathtaking 🫧✨. On our way down, we passed a cherry orchard 🍒. You can pick cherries there in May and June. Just imagining the branches laden with bright red fruits in a while makes me want to come back and try them. The guesthouse courtyard also offers tea brewing around a fire and making aromatherapy wax melts, truly living life like a poem. Escaping the city for the weekend to soak in the hot springs and simply relax here is just wonderful!~
