"The hotel has a good location. Internet is terrible. The staff are friendly. The bad thing is they allow pets in all rooms. I have severe allergies and when I found out they let pets in all rooms I had no time to cancel. I was itchy in the night. As animals in the bed could have fleas and fur or dander which is an allergy. I do not understand letting dogs and cats sleep in the bed and on pillows. Animals are not bathed like people. they drool and who knows may urinate in the room."

"service niveauet er meget højt synes jeg.  vi ankom desværre til en mobil home fyldt med kæmpe myre.  30 min efter vi havde meldt det kom der to folk og fixede det og har kun set en myre siden🙏🏻 dagen efter kommer en dame forbi og spørger om alt er ok og om vi har nogen spørgsmål, det synes jeg er meget personligt og god service  .  maden på camping pladsen er faktisk ok, man kan ikke få “ordentligt mad “  meget på pladsen koster ekstra penge.  der er meget kuperet, så man kan ikke rigtig komme rundt uden at tage det lille tog, som altid er overproppet med råbende børn og teenagere for os er det ikke “rigtig camping” der er ikke hyggeligt men for proppet med mennesker alle steder også ved de forskellige pools! man står i kør til alting -  selv vandrutche banerne opgiver man pga kø.  og sidst men ikke mindst så larmer her enormt meget ! der bor mange hollænder og de råber istedet for at snakke 🫣 og der er musik alle steder, alt for højt musik!  både ved pools og spise steder .  vi var inde i firenze i dag, det var super hyggeligt . men det tog os omkring 1,5 time at finde en parkerings plads 😅 renligheden er ok, ikke perfekt men ok.  så altså, det er super fint at være her i de 4 dage som vi har bestilt .  meeeen vi kommer ikke igen!  så vil vi hellere til camping park umag kroatien, hvor vi lige har været ! der er mere roligt, flere ydmyge danskere og for os er det mere camping hyggeligt 🙏🏻 energi niveauet og stemningen her minder mere om en forlystelses park end afslapning, så kan ikke anbefale det 🫣"

"This hotel is a good base for exploring Tuscany. The staff were polite and friendly. However in my opinion this is not worthy of a 4 star rating. It was pretty basic, thin towels, no robes, we just had bare walls in a small room. This is a 3 star hotel in my opinion. It’s fine but if you like luxury then you need to go elsewhere."

"Ein bißchen in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel. Sanitärrohre sind morgens laut. ( Das war aber das einzige Negative) Da ich aus Deutschland komme ist alles besser als meine eigene Wohnung ( ich komme aus Böblingen und da wollen Sie nicht wohnen...) Ich weis daher nicht, ob meine Meinung viel Gewicht hat. Das Reinigungspersonal war sehr fähig. Der Empfang freundlich, und mit dem richtigen Partner ist das Hotel gut geeignet, die nördlichen Städte der Toskana, insbesondere Florenz zu entdecken. Gutes Preis Leistungs Verhältnis. Essen kann ich nicht bewerten, das war immer auswärts."

"I stayed here for 3 nights. 👍Bus stop is right in front of the hotel. You can go to the city center conveniently. 👍Breakfast is typical American style with a touch of Italian. A few kinds of Italian cakes and pies are offered. 👍there's a pizzeria and a bar nearby this hotel. (7 minutes by walk) 👎Netflix isn't set on the TV. 👎the shower booth in the bathroom was too small. It was a 'double bed' room and I can say that it would be so small for 'single bed' room and even for '5 years old kid'."

"The hotel is located in the centre of the Val d'Orcia. Montalcino is located up to the centre and has a beautiful view. Very relaxing. Excellent service at both the reception and the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. The kitchen is also available for cooking. We have dined at the restaurant of the structure, a perfect service, the only thing is the menu. We have eaten everything but found excess acidity in the dishes, and we think it can be useful to balance the taste of the dishes but without exceeding it. Almost all the dishes were very acid, if it's a taste that doesn't like, the client may not eat anything. "We stayed here for one night with breakfast included. The room was very spacious, truly beautiful, and quiet despite the nearby road. The structure is massive and has so much potential, though perhaps not fully realized. The thermal pools are excellent; it's a shame the outdoor pool was a little warm and therefore unusable. We enjoyed the relaxing massage, which was excellent! We had dinner at the restaurant, which was delicious and comprehensive. Breakfast was very pleasant. The staff were all young and talented. The only downside is that check-in is at 3 PM, so if you arrive in the morning, you'll have to pay a supplement to use the spa. Perhaps it would have been better to be transparent and disclose this on the website. Overall, a great find."

GGuest UserExcellent location, excellent treatment and service by all the staff, especially by the receptionist who is there in the mornings and who knows how to speak Spanish. Their kindness and attention: exceptional, the fact that it has a swimming pool, even if it is small, to take a dip especially in summer, with the heat that it is, is an important point to take into account, and although I have read that they do not warn that it does not have an elevator and that in many cases, like us, they send you to the second floor with many steps, it is true, but they also take your suitcases up and down. Without a doubt, I will stay at this hotel again on my next trip to Florence.

It was small but had everything you needed and was very comfortable. The lady at the front desk was incredibly helpful. She let us check in early as soon as a room was available, and answered all our questions throughout our stay. The breakfast room offers stunning views of Florence, with the cathedral dome and swifts that have migrated back from Africa after winter flying by the window.

MMarcos 305Villa Tortorelli is a charming mix between a bed-and-breakfast and a hotel. My experience here was mostly positive, and while there were a few minor issues, I could tell that the staff genuinely does their best to run the villa as smoothly as possible. Check-in & First Impressions The first thing to note is that the villa is designed to work with automated check-in processes, which is great for most travelers. However, it could be better explained to future guests to avoid any confusion. Not everyone will have a working phone or data plan when they arrive in Italy, and it’s important for the villa to have a backup plan in case guests are unable to connect. One simple suggestion would be to provide Wi-Fi access at the entrance of the villa and share the network name and password with guests before their arrival. This would make it easier for everyone to access the automated system without any issues. Room & Comfort I stayed in the Deluxe Suite, located on the first floor of a three-story villa, right next to the breakfast room. At first, I was concerned about noise, but the thick, heavy door completely blocked any sounds from the breakfast area. I never heard a thing in the morning. The room has blackout curtains that provide great privacy and darkness, which I really appreciated. The bathroom was newly renovated with luxury finishes, including stone walls that give it a high-end feel. The room was clean, and the daily housekeeping service kept everything spotless, with fresh towels replaced daily. One of the standout features of Villa Tortorelli is Karen, the person in charge of breakfast service and housekeeping. She is incredibly attentive and hardworking. She ensures that guests are well taken care of, and the breakfast is always well-prepared and served hot. Honestly, if they lose Karen, the villa would lose two stars in reviews. She is one of their greatest assets. Breakfast Experience The breakfast service was excellent. The food is prepared fresh every morning, and Karen makes sure there is always a variety of hot and cold options available. The breakfast room is cozy and inviting, with plenty of choices to start your day off right. The Villa’s Atmosphere & Location The villa is peaceful and surrounded by greenery, making it a relaxing place to stay. It’s also within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions in Florence, which makes it very convenient for exploring the city. One Minor Issue The only negative point during my stay was that the room felt quite cold when I first arrived. However, I reached out to the WhatsApp help service, and the heating system was adjusted quickly. Within a short time, the room felt much warmer and more comfortable. Final Thoughts Overall, Villa Tortorelli is a great option for those looking for a peaceful, well-located stay in Florence. The automated check-in system could use some improvement to avoid any potential issues for guests without a data plan, but aside from that, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is excellent, and the staff is very attentive. Would I stay here again? Yes, especially for Karen’s service and the peaceful villa atmosphere!

GGuest UserWe stayed at Agriturismo Podere l’Aione during our Tuscany road trip, and overall it was a pleasant stay with warm hospitality, but there is one important point future guests should know. First, the positives. The property itself is very charming and peaceful, surrounded by beautiful Tuscan countryside. The compound is spacious and relaxing, and the small cottage-style rooms feel cosy and private. The rooms appear fairly new (the property is only about four years old) and have modern amenities with a proper heating system, which made the stay comfortable. Parking inside the compound is also very convenient and safe. The hospitality was excellent. The owner’s daughter who welcomed us was very friendly, helpful and lovely. The lady attending breakfast was also incredibly warm and attentive, making the morning experience very pleasant. The people running the place truly make guests feel welcome. However, the main reason for our feedback is that the first photo shown in the listing does not appear to be this property. The image appears twice in the listing and shows a much larger estate with a very big swimming pool and a different compound layout. We booked the stay thinking it was that beautiful estate shown in the photos and were excited to experience that setting. When we arrived, we realised the accommodation is actually a smaller white cottage-style agriturismo, which is still beautiful, but quite different from the property shown in the first images. The one I uploaded the first two picture does not belong to this property. We were quite disappointed. Some more, it is the first image listed in this property, so we thought it is but if not. Because of this, it felt a little misleading at first as we kept wondering where that particular property in the photos was. In terms of pricing, similar agriturismo stays in this region with comparable cottage-style rooms can often be found for around SGD150 per night. However, we paid over SGD250+ which is roughly about 40% higher, because we believed we were booking the property shown in the main photo with the large swimming pool and grand compound. To be clear, the place itself is lovely, cosy, peaceful and well maintained, and the hospitality is wonderful. Our only suggestion would be for the management to update the listing photos so they accurately represent the actual property, which will help future guests have the right expectations. A small note for guests with mobility concerns: since the compound is quite spread out, you may need to walk a short distance and take a few steps to reach some of the cottages. Overall, it is still a charming countryside stay with very kind hosts, but the listing photos should better reflect the actual property

LLicichkaEverything was very good and comfortable. The location is close to the train station and all the main attractions. Given its proximity to the station, the noise level at night was as expected – not a surprise for me and acceptable. Breakfast, though seemingly modest at first glance, was always delicious with enough dishes for my taste (yogurt with candied fruit, whole-grain croissant, scrambled eggs, coffee, and fruit). Everything was fresh and pleasant. The room wasn't new, but it was clean everywhere, which is more important to me; the cleaning service was good. The staff were friendly, ready to chat (even in my native language, which is rare) or leave you be – they are very perceptive to guests' moods. Thank you for your service!

GGuest UserThis hotel's rooms are incredibly beautiful and clean! They provide a wide array of disposable amenities, including slippers and body lotion, which is quite rare for European hotels. Our room even had a small balcony with a lovely view of the pool downstairs and the surrounding trees. While breakfast wasn't entirely to my taste, the variety was impressive, even featuring honey with a honeycomb. The front desk offers complimentary luggage storage, which was very helpful. A thoughtful touch was the free long-handled umbrellas available for guests, especially since it happened to be raining during our stay. The only real downside is that, despite being close to Florence train station in a straight line, the walk from the station to the hotel is actually quite long. Plus, exiting the Florence station involves going down a set of stairs, which is very inconvenient with large luggage. This made the walk to the hotel feel even longer, especially with intersections where poor signal made maps unclear and it was easy to get lost. Nonetheless, I highly recommend this hotel. The internal environment is very well-maintained, and the front desk staff are patient and polite. If I have the chance to visit Florence again, I would definitely choose this hotel. The price is truly excellent value for money.

GGuest UserI stayed with my aunt and my friend for 2 nights recently; we had 3 beds in the same room, 1 single and 1 double. The hotel had basic amenities - private bathroom which was a little small for me and a TV in the room. We didn't notice a kettle in the room but to be honest, we weren't really bothered since we had paid for the hotel breakfast. The breakfast had small selection of hot food: eggs and sausages were really good. The coffee machine wasn't working properly but the staff did everything they could to provide espressos for the guests. Speaking of the staff, they were so kind and amazing, The 1st staff we saw was kind enough to mark the local/popular attractions on the map and give us some guidance on what to do and where to go. They also gave us this incentive where we all got free breakfasts for the 2nd day after signing up to the hotel account (or something like that). The only major con about the stay was that our room was located right next to the elevator and it was noisy all morning and late at night so please if you can, ask for a faraway room!

GGuest UserThe hotel is right next to the train station, just a short walk away. Super convenient! The 24-hour front desk made me feel very secure. The room wasn't huge, but it was perfectly adequate and well-equipped. It was very clean and promptly serviced. The front desk staff enthusiastically explained all the details: breakfast, key card, routes to major attractions, etc. I really appreciate it! The breakfast was fantastic! The lovely ladies on the breakfast team greeted everyone warmly, made coffee, and worked diligently and efficiently. Thumbs up! On the last day, I left my luggage at the hotel and picked it up in the afternoon before catching my train. When I picked up my bags, the gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and even told me there was a restroom downstairs I could use. It's true that finding restrooms outside can be difficult! Ousman, the friendly guy, suggested I write down my feelings and share them with others, just writing whatever came to mind. I think he's right; others might need honest information. I spent some time choosing a hotel before I came, and it seems I made the right choice. Thanks again, I really enjoyed this trip! 😀😀
