"This is a new and popular hotel, so it's still quite crowded. The location is downtown. The breakfast spread is very diverse and tastes great. Personally, I found the bed uncomfortable, and at night, I could still hear noisy motorcycles from outside. Perhaps they rushed the construction to open on time, as the towel rack in room 1024 is already about to fall off 😬. There are many facilities, and it's fun with plenty of photo spots for social media 😬. I'd say about 80% of the staff are young, which is a shame because I heard them using slang like ”Anjir” (a crude exclamation) even when guests were right in front of them (I overheard this from a male receptionist). A server in the restaurant used ”Aku” (a more informal 'I') instead of ”Saya” (a more polite 'I') when addressing guests, which felt a bit odd. A server in the dining room sounded curt on the phone when taking an order. During breakfast, many staff members were sweeping and giggling with their colleagues. I hope for improvements because this is a 4-star hotel, and the service should be good, polite, and professional."

"Very nice room and spacious, breakfast spread was great too and cooked very good sunny side up eggs. Forgotten to return my hotel card but I will be back next month again and stay at same hotel and also return the room key."

"This hotel offers Chinese-speaking staff, making it perfect for business travelers or tourists from China. The decor is very new and the service is flexible. It's also conveniently located near many Chinese restaurants in the Pik area, making dining and transportation very easy. They even serve a Chinese breakfast."

"Everything was absolutely great! The location is strategic, and the food was delicious. However, I do have one complaint: the room had a bit of a musty smell when we first entered. I hope this can be looked into. Also, during breakfast, there were some black bits in the orange juice. Even after changing glasses, it was still there. We informed the staff, and they immediately responded and offered us complimentary watermelon juice. All the best, Hotel Santika!"

"The room is spacious and affordable, with a shopping mall downstairs, and Chinese restaurants nearby. Taxis are also readily available. It's one of my favorite hotels, and I'll definitely stay here again next time. Haha."

"Worth the visit if you bring kids over - they can enjoy the beach, the pool, bathtub. There’s also bubble foam party the kids can enjoy. For adults, you can enjoy the whirlpool, cold plunge, sauna and steam. The breakfast options are quite good, with average taste. We had lunch at the restaurant too, but my advise - choose other options if you have. Not worth the price for the taste 🥺 BM Mountain View, a nearby restaurant worth the visit. Rooms are decent for typical 5-stars, but poor amenities . No hair conditioner, no body lotion provided. Hand wash brand is potentially from lifebouy based on the smell and color, unlike typical 5-stars where you get higher quality or premium brands. Service quality is not a typical 5-stars you get in Jakarta. We booked 3-rooms. The rooms condition overall were pretty alright, except that in 1 room - the towels smelled like rotten eggs and we immediately asked for change."

"This is my second stay here, and I’m still very pleased with the experience. The facilities are great, especially the frequent airport shuttle service. It’s easy to arrange—just contact the hotel, and they’ll gladly help with the reservation. The food is also great, and the room was clean and comfortable. The only thing I wasn’t quite comfortable with was the fragrance of the bed linens, which was a little too strong for my preference."

"“Good for a Transit Stay, but the AI-Driven Service Needs Work” I booked this hotel mainly because of the reviews mentioning the good food and free pick-up/drop-off shuttle service. Communicating with the hotel before check-in to arrange the shuttle was easy through the hotel’s WhatsApp number, which I found on Trip.com. Upon arrival, I noticed that the hotel seems to cater quite heavily to Chinese visitors. There was a line of Chinese guests checking in, and one of the front desk staff spoke Chinese fluently. Some of the notices around the hotel were also written in Chinese, presumably Mandarin. Check-in was smooth, and the front desk staff was nice and helpful. However, I was informed that I needed to install an app to use various hotel services during my stay, including the digital room key and room service. While this may be convenient for some guests, I personally found it a bit of a hassle at the time. The installation itself took some time, followed by an explanation of how to use the system. The food was average, with a reasonable selection of options. However, the refilling of some items was rather slow. For example, the milk for the coffee machine ran out and was not replenished promptly, and at times there was no cook available. The room itself was nice and spacious. One thing I particularly liked was the layout, with the washing area located near the entrance. The toilet unit also looked new. Unfortunately, the towels looked rather shabby and could use an upgrade. Complimentary bottled water was available upon request, which was a nice touch. One of the biggest downsides for me was the lack of a telephone in the room. All service requests have to be made through the app. I had to communicate with an AI chatbot, but the chatbot would often instruct me to go downstairs and confirm the request with the reception desk anyway. I found this rather confusing and wondered what the point of the AI system was if I still had to speak to a staff member in person. It seems the hotel is trying to adapt to AI and reduce the need for human staff, but the system does not seem to work effectively yet. In my experience, it actually added an extra step rather than making things easier. This was especially noticeable during check-out. There was only one front desk staff member, which was surprising. He was very patient and did his best to serve everyone, but the hotel really could have used more staff at that time. As a result, the line became quite long. Had I been informed during check-in that I could simply use the self-service machine to check out, I could have avoided the queue altogether. The location is in the CBC area, although finding the hotel felt a bit like navigating a labyrinth. It wasn't the easiest place to locate, especially for a first-time visitor. Overall, I would say you get what you pay for. For a one-night transit stay, the hotel was acceptable, especially with the free shuttle service and spacious room. However, the hotel could significantly improve its service by having more human staff available and making its AI-based system more practical and user-friendly."
