In the paradise of light and shadow, reside in a living art and culture museum.
Xinduqiao, renowned as the "paradise of light and shadow," is a spiritual sanctuary for countless travelers exploring the beauty of Western Sichuan. Here, MERU Hotel stands proudly, offering more than just accommodation—it aims to embark you on a premium lifestyle journey named "Aesthetic Voyager."
We believe that true travel is a resonance between external landscapes and inner reflections. Thus, the hotel adopts the design concept of a "Art and Culture Museum," completely breaking away from traditional hotel layouts. From the moment you step into the lobby, you enter a meticulously curated aesthetic space of culture. Every detail—from the photographic works of the Munya Monastery in the art gallery to the handcrafted copperware, from the vibrant auspicious patterns to the mandala flowing through the space—silently narrates the stories and beliefs of the snowy plateau.
The hotel boasts 67 elegantly designed rooms that harmoniously blend modern comfort with aesthetics. Outside the window, a majestic panorama of snow-capped mountains unfolds, while inside, a tranquil and serene cultural immersion awaits.
MERU Hotel is not merely a destination but a state of being. We strive to create for you a welcoming ritual gently enveloped in a rich cultural ambiance, a lifestyle of the "Aesthetic Voyager" that distances itself from the hustle and bustle, focusing on inner discovery and appreciation.
Here, stay is a retreat, and the journey is an exhibition. We cordially invite you to become part of this eternal art exhibition.
"Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! While I wouldn't usually give a perfect 5 stars for a single thoughtful detail, after the visit, I'm willing to give this entire team a high score for their overall service. They were attentive to detail and showed great warmth. Personally, I really appreciate this practical yet stylish hotel. It's a very good hotel, truly exceptional for its price. How to describe it? I think it's like, within their capabilities, you'll experience the best hospitality. —————————————————— Enough rambling! The hotel primarily caters to travelers, and parking is convenient. Follow the navigation into the side streets; there are plenty of their own parking lots, so parking isn't a problem. It's located next to a small lake, and the hotel lobby is just a short walk away. While you're still putting your luggage down, their staff are already incredibly welcoming, preparing khatas (traditional ******* scarves). For a region at such a high altitude, they have enough staff to guide you from your parking spot to the lobby. It really is a group of women—a whole group—coming up to help you with your luggage! We arrived at night and could feel that... you know? The lighting and color scheme, the Tibetan-style modern interior design—it's something trendy hotels can't replicate. It stands up to close scrutiny. For a super hotel, it's not large, but the lobby is incredibly cozy, allowing you to quickly relax. Besides check-in, I suspect their biggest draw during peak hours is the lobby's art gallery; I love every single photo there. The lobby's flow is excellent, with a butter tea area, a sofa lounge area, and a ******* clothing display area. The layout feels very logical, preventing overcrowding during peak hours. Going upstairs, there's an elevator. Having an elevator at this altitude is great; I appreciate that. They might even help carry your luggage into the city. There were also art photos in the hallways; many of them were worth looking at and told a story, perhaps fitting its theme—a photographer's paradise. The room layout was reasonable, and the welcome drinks were handwritten, with both ******* and Chinese labels, truly showing a warm touch. One more thing to mention: it was incredibly clean, absolutely spotless. I was supposed to change into slippers upon entering, but before I could even find any, the floor was warm to the touch, a testament to its pristine condition. Everything you could touch, everything your luggage could reach, was immaculate. The bedding had a textured feel. Honestly, it felt very much like Muji's quality; I personally really like this kind of thing because my home is like this, so I felt like I was coming home – it was even cleaner than my own home! Haha. This hotel will definitely raise its prices in the future; the amenities are those of a high-end hotel, including a refrigerator and safe. I haven't had a chance to visit the rooftop garden during the day yet; I'll try it out tomorrow morning with breakfast. I'm already out of space. I just hope that the price will be affordable when I come back in the future, and that they can continue to find a cost-effective and market-balanced operating model. Maintaining this level of management, cleanliness, and service consistently"
