The hotel is very close to the scenic area, conveniently located between the first and second tourist centers, just over a kilometer away. It's easy to get a taxi or drive there yourself. There are plenty of dining options nearby, with lots of restaurants, snacks, and late-night food. The hotel also has a laundry room, gym, and other recreational facilities on the basement level. Plus, there's a private outdoor pool and a lovely lawn, perfect for a relaxing stroll."

"The room was very spacious and clean, and they even provided disposable towels. I was so impressed that there were four different pillow options to choose from! While we were checking in, the room across the hall was checking out, and I saw the cleaning staff mop the entire floor thoroughly. The front desk staff (the 'little housekeepers' as I like to call them) were incredibly responsive and helpful. They even offered complimentary disposable raincoats and shoe covers for our visits to the attractions. When I asked the front desk attendant for restaurant recommendations, she patiently gave us a variety of suggestions based on different cuisine types, and even drove us there herself! They also offer a shuttle service to and from the scenic spots from 7 AM to 7 PM; the driver was always available on call, which was a huge help with transportation. Choosing to stay at Mingshengju Hotel truly made my trip so much better – I'm extremely satisfied!"

"Facilities: The hotel is a fair distance from the entrance to Huangguoshu, but it offers a car shuttle. We drove there ourselves. We traveled off-peak, so we were picked up in the afternoon of the first day. Pick-ups are closed after 9 PM, so please be mindful of your schedule. However, there are many Qingju electric bikes in Huangguoshu, which was very convenient. We rode them back home on our first night. Cleanliness: I highly recommend it! Excellent! However, we were exhausted that day and left early the next day, so we didn't use the shower. The toilet was very good, with alcohol wipes provided for self-wiping. Environment: We stayed on the 7th floor. The window offered a mountain view, but that wasn't particularly useful for a special forces unit, as we didn't have time to see it. The elevator didn't indicate which floor it reached, which was a bit inconvenient. Service: I highly recommend the hotel front desk. We arrived that afternoon to avoid peak traffic and head to the Great Falls, but it rained heavily. The beautiful receptionist waited until the rain subsided to let us know and then took us there. "This is a high-star chain hotel right next to Huangguoshu Waterfall. What's really great, and something many five-star hotels lack, is their self-service laundry room. There are plenty of washer-dryers, enough for my friend and me even during a holiday. The hotel seems to be split into multiple buildings, some newer and some older. Our room had a balcony. We didn't try the hotel breakfast, but the other facilities and services were excellent. It's really good value for money, even on a holiday, and definitely worth staying at."

The hotel is located in the Great Waterfall scenic area and has a viewing platform where you can admire the magnificent waterfall from afar. In about a 10-minute walk, you can reach a viewpoint offering a 'God's eye' perspective. If you plan your visit well, you can see everything in about 5 hours. "We were traveling with our children, a 156-kilometer drive from Guiyang. The hotel was easy to find, and the location the owner sent us was spot-on.
