"The front desk staff were warm and polite, and the room was incredibly comfortable with very clean floors. It was a really pleasant stay. They even offer a free shuttle to Huaguoshan and the Great Waterfall, and there's a cute delivery robot that brought our meals, which was a huge hit with the kids! It created some wonderful memories. "My stay here was absolutely wonderful! The hotel is super close to Huangguoshu Scenic Area, just a few minutes' drive away. It has a really peaceful vibe, and I loved sitting on the balcony at night, looking at all the stars with the mountains all around – so quiet and relaxing. Check-in was efficient, and the staff at the front desk were so warm and polite. My room was spotless, the bedding was comfy, and the soundproofing was excellent. Breakfast offered a great variety and tasted delicious. A huge thank you to the front desk for the room upgrade; after two nights here, I felt completely refreshed from my travels. The overall service was top-notch. They also have a lot of free activities; I tried batik making and fridge magnet crafting, which was fun. This is definitely my go-to choice when visiting Huangguoshu, and I'll be back for sure! I'll be recommending it to all my colleagues and friends!"

"Upon arrival, I received a complimentary room upgrade. The hotel offers a shuttle service to Huangguoshu Waterfall, and it's also a convenient 10-15 minute walk to the entrance. The staff were very welcoming. The only downside was the rather basic breakfast."

"At the beginning of the month, my travel companion, “Peking Duck” (my child), and I explored four small cities in Guizhou – Guiyang, Anshun, Bijie, and Xingyi. We thoroughly experienced the karst landscapes, caves, waterfalls, and pastoral scenery, all in a comfortably cool climate. Here's a comprehensive guide to share with everyone! ⭕️ Guizhou Geological Museum (reservations required, closed on Mondays, last admission at 4 PM): You can book a guided tour with fossil restoration activities, which is very interesting. ⭕️ Qingyun Market: A great place to eat and explore (definitely try Guiyang's Sour Soup Hotpot – the flavor is unique compared to other regions). ⭕️ Yelang Valley (watch Nuo opera, two shows daily: 12:00-12:30 PM and 3:00-3:30 PM. Kids who enjoy crafts can try plant carving). ⭕️ I personally don't recommend Zhijin Cave for families with young children or the elderly! However, Zhijin Grand Canyon is highly recommended. Enter via the elevator, and the entire route is a downhill walk, making it very lazy-friendly. The scenic beauty is truly impressive and worth a visit! ⭕️ Guizhou Guanling National Fossil Group Geological Park (the fossil digging area is open, but the museum area will open in late July). ⭕️ Huangguoshu Waterfall (‼️ Water Curtain Cave requires reservations and raincoats are a must!). For a lazy-friendly approach: take the round-trip elevator and capture a panoramic shot from above. If you're not up for a lot of walking, you can skip Tianxing Bridge; seeing the main waterfall is breathtaking enough! And a shout-out to the park staff – every restroom is spotless, some even have toilet seat covers! ⭕️ Fenglin Buyi (consider going in the evening when the lights are on – the scenery is even more beautiful. You can experience Buyi culture, songs and dances, iron flower performances, and other unique shows. There are many fun NPC mini-games in the scenic area. Watching the iron flower show from a boat offers a more direct and spectacular view). ⭕️ Kids will absolutely love a full day at Wanfenglin! Fishing, mini-train rides, woodworking, tie-dyeing, fruit picking, making Ciba (sticky rice cakes), and so much more – they'll never want to leave! When they get tired, relaxing at a popular cafe is pure bliss! ⭕️ Maling River Canyon (known as 'the most beautiful scar on Earth.' The scenic area closes at 5:30 PM. For an aerial view, navigate to 'Maling River Canyon Parking Lot 2'). Tips: ‼️ Guizhou attractions can be physically demanding. If you're traveling with children and have limited stamina, opt for lazy-friendly routes. ‼️ Mornings and evenings are cool, but it can be quite sunny during other times, so bring plenty of sunscreen and mosquito repellent. ‼️ Some attractions require advance reservations, so plan your itinerary accordingly! ‼️ Bring raincoats for Maling River and Huangguoshu, and wear non-slip shoes. ‼️ For Zhijin Cave, avoid wearing long pants or white shoes as it can get muddy! The cave temperature is around 10 degrees Celsius, so bring a jacket. Among the hotels we stayed at, 'Peking Duck' loved the Huangguoshu Kaiyuan Manju Hotel the most. It offers many parent-child activities, new facilities, and delicious dining! We enjoyed a cool summer with temperatures around 20 degrees Celsius throughout our trip, without any high-intensity rushing. We experienced city life, majestic gorges and waterfalls, underground marvels, pastoral peak forests, and ethnic minority customs all at once. The best classroom is always on the road; what you see with your own eyes is far more memorable than what you read in books. It’s time to get out there with the kids!"

The area downstairs is convenient for shopping and dining; it's lively, and there's even music playing while you eat by the stream, creating a great atmosphere."

"Highly recommended! This hotel offers exceptional value for money. The owner, a former designer, clearly put a lot of thought into every aspect of the hotel's design. The bedding and smart features are on par with what you'd find in a chain hotel. It's also very close to Huangguoshu Waterfall Scenic Area, and the owner even provides a business car for transfers, which was a huge plus!"

"Location: The Huangguoshu Scenic Area shuttle bus entrance is a 5-minute walk along the street to the right after exiting the hotel; it's very close. Parking: There are above-ground and underground parking lots behind the hotel, with elevators. Parking in the underground garage is very convenient. The parking entrance is to the left of the hotel. Service: The receptionist was exceptionally helpful! Thank you! Room: Comfortable! Clean! It had two pillows, one of which was a latex pillow! The central air conditioning was powerful! The whole room was smart! The view from the window was nice! Highly recommended for those visiting Huangguoshu Scenic Area. When taking the shuttle bus back, it's closer to get off at the Beer Plaza stop."

"Yinshan Wangyue Homestay (Hidden Mountain Moon-Gazing Homestay) was definitely the most impressive, satisfying, and memorable accommodation during our 5-day Guizhou trip. We stayed for two consecutive nights, and our whole family absolutely loved it! ☺️ The homestay's overall design felt as warm and inviting as home. The room was very spacious. To the left of the entrance, there was a designated spot for luggage. Then, a large living room with a comfortable sofa and a rug came into view. Next to the sofa, there was even a cozy little tent set up for the kids, making them feel safe and secure. To the right of the sofa, a bar counter and a small refrigerator were cleverly designed, and the fridge even had complimentary cold drinks. The sleeping area featured a tatami-style setup, which was convenient for the children to get in and out of bed. The shower and toilet were separated, and there was also a bathtub. The kids absolutely loved it! ☺️ They also provided children's toiletries and disposable slippers (which were very comfortable). The 6th floor also had a gym and a laundry room (with a washer-dryer combo), all fully equipped. It was clear how thoughtfully everything was considered~ The homestay's manager (who previously worked in hotel management for a large corporation) and the lovely owner (who loves marathons and trail running) both pay great attention to detail. From the anti-collision corner protectors in the children's pool to the umbrellas and lounge chairs by the poolside, the adult and children's books arranged in the sunken reading area of the lobby, the projector setup in the leisure area, and even the cute cartoon elements on the bathroom walls that kids adore – all these details show that they genuinely care for every guest. They truly think of all these small things for everyone. Breakfast was served right at the homestay, which was incredibly convenient for our family traveling with elderly parents and children! 👍🏻 The breakfast selection was also quite rich, healthy, and nutritious~ We hope Yinshan Wangyue Homestay continues to thrive. The next time we visit Guizhou, we will definitely 'come home' again! ☺️"

"Although this wasn't the last hotel I stayed at in Guizhou, it definitely had the best service I've experienced so far – absolutely wonderful! When we went to Huangguoshu Waterfall, a staff member guided us through the express lane and even told us how to get back. Since it was a sunny day, we were pleasantly surprised to find our car covered with sunshades when we returned, and they even brought us water."

"This is a new hotel, and the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and spotless. The facilities and decor are excellent! 👍 The breakfast spread is fantastic and delicious. The Chinese food is superb and really hit the spot – even for us who can't handle spice, it was genuinely non-spicy. As someone from Shunde, a city known for its cuisine, I can attest it was truly delicious! The service was absolutely amazing! Every single staff member, from the front desk and drivers to security, housekeepers, and restaurant staff, was incredibly warm and attentive! We stayed for two nights, and on the morning of our third day, we wanted to see the magnificent Balinghe Bridge. The driver personally took us to the viewpoint, which was incredibly thoughtful and touching!"
