"I booked a two-night package deal and it was incredible value for money. The hotel's overall service was excellent. The package included breakfast and a double sour fish hotpot meal at the restaurant. The breakfast buffet was really extensive, with a great selection of breads, noodle soups, hot and cold dishes, fruit, and steamed dim sum. The hotel is very close to the scenic area, conveniently located between the first and second tourist centers, just over a kilometer away. It's easy to get a taxi or drive there yourself. There are plenty of dining options nearby, with lots of restaurants, snacks, and late-night food. The hotel also has a laundry room, gym, and other recreational facilities on the basement level. Plus, there's a private outdoor pool and a lovely lawn, perfect for a relaxing stroll."

There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Water Curtain Cave Waterfall Viewing Platform, Huangguoshu Memorial Archway and Water Curtain Cave all nearby. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. This Zhenning hotel features parking on site. Our guests consider this hotel to have excellent service. "Guolv Hotel Transfer: The owner has a dedicated 7-seater car for transfers, with a license plate that has many '9's. Just call anytime, and they'll pick you up or drop you off – super convenient. The hotel also has a parking lot, and to my surprise, even an underground one, which was great for us driving there. We parked the car at the hotel, visited the sights, and then drove off when we were ready – no issues at all. The room is fully smart-controlled. Curtains, TV, and lights can all be controlled by voice. The only downside is that there's no smart toilet. The hotel has an elevator, which made handling luggage easy. The local weather is said to be 21 degrees Celsius all year round, but it was a bit chilly at night during our visit. I asked the front desk for a heater, and it worked quite well. The service from the staff was really good!"

"This hotel truly lives up to its 4-star standard, even offering a complimentary shuttle service to take you to restaurants or the scenic area entrance. They've also built their own private garage with direct elevator access, which is super convenient. The room was spotless, the bathroom felt very clean, and there was even a small balcony. Plus, free breakfast was included. My only regret is that I drove 550 kilometers just to stay one night and then had to rush back to Chongqing the next day, so I didn't get to explore the scenic area at all. I'll be driving back again in a couple of days, and I'll definitely be staying here again."

Renovated in 2026, the Huangguoshu Mingshengju Hotel is a great choice for accommodation in Zhenning. The hotel is 28km from Guanling Railway Station and 39km from Anshun Huangguoshu Airport. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Doupotang Waterfall, Doupotang Scenic Area - Waterfall Viewing Platform and Shitou Village all nearby. In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings. For those driving themselves, parking is provided on site. Our guests consider this hotel to have excellent service. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with families.

"The room was very spacious and clean, and they even provided disposable towels. I was so impressed that there were four different pillow options to choose from! While we were checking in, the room across the hall was checking out, and I saw the cleaning staff mop the entire floor thoroughly. The front desk staff (the 'little housekeepers' as I like to call them) were incredibly responsive and helpful. They even offered complimentary disposable raincoats and shoe covers for our visits to the attractions. When I asked the front desk attendant for restaurant recommendations, she patiently gave us a variety of suggestions based on different cuisine types, and even drove us there herself! They also offer a shuttle service to and from the scenic spots from 7 AM to 7 PM; the driver was always available on call, which was a huge help with transportation. Choosing to stay at Mingshengju Hotel truly made my trip so much better – I'm extremely satisfied!"

"The hotel is relatively new, and the linens are of good quality and fresh. They were clean and odorless. The parking lot is huge, and the hotel offers a timely shuttle service to scenic spots for guests. The service was warm, polite, and courteous. The only downside is that the duvet was a bit thick; Southern tourists are used to thinner blankets. Breakfast was plentiful. The restaurant downstairs had good food."

"Our experience was absolutely fantastic; this is the best place I've stayed in Guizhou, and this is my second visit! The front desk staff was incredibly welcoming. They upgraded my child and me to a suite for free (we had booked a mountain-view bathtub room) and even extended our check-out time. To get to Huangguoshu Scenic Area, all we had to do was book a few minutes in advance at the front desk, and a car (a seven-seater business van) arrived very quickly. The interior of the car was spotless, and the driver was very thoughtful; he even asked us to message him on WeChat when we were on our way back to the hotel, and he arrived in just a few minutes (the hotel is within a ten-minute drive from the scenic area). Initially, I thought we'd have to meet him at a designated stop, but he said he could pick us up at any exit, so we were able to hop in as soon as we left the scenic area. All in all, this was a wonderful experience. A big thank you to the hotel and its staff! 🥰"

"Free pick-up and drop-off within 5 kilometers of the scenic area: The owner is incredibly warm and friendly, providing two breakfasts and even a ride to the scenic area!! The breakfast soup noodles are especially delicious; be sure to try the chili sauce and Sichuan peppercorn oil! Cleanliness: The guesthouse is very clean, and there's even aromatherapy indoors, making for a comfortable night's sleep! Wet clothes can be dried on the third floor."

"The whole homestay is very clean. Even the sofa pillows in the hall smell fresh of detergent. Not to mention the room, there is no odor in the house, and the sink is clean and has no water stains. The facilities in the room are also complete. There are washing machines and dryers on the first floor, which is very convenient. We drove to the homestay and parked on the roadside at the door. The homestay also has an underground parking lot. The breakfast variety is rich, the minced meat rice noodles are very delicious😋, the restaurant is also clean, and the aunt is very enthusiastic. The decoration style of the whole homestay is also very stylish. It can be seen that the boss is very attentive. I sincerely recommend it👍 Lobby coffee and tea: coffee is delivered to each room, and the taste is not bad👍"

If you demand a high level of service, our guests have indicated that this hotel has excellent standards. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with families.

"We were traveling with our children, a 156-kilometer drive from Guiyang. The hotel was easy to find, and the location the owner sent us was spot-on. We parked our car in the parking lot at the foot of the mountain, and the hotel car picked us up halfway up the mountain. The service was excellent, with the driver and waiter helping with luggage. The hotel was quiet and clean, and the breakfast and stir-fried dishes were delicious. The pool was clean and perfect for the kids to play in. The waiter even helped us make instant noodles for dinner, which was fantastic. Special praise goes to the summer workers, Xiao Chen and Xiao Gan, for their excellent service. Good value for money, and we'll definitely be back. Highly recommended."

GGuest UserComfortable and Convenient Stay with Thoughtful Host We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room is new and modern. However, shower room tiling can be improve further for one of the family room toilet. But the other toilets in the other rooms are good. The location is good, near the second entrance of Huang Guo Shu Waterfall which only opens for day trip. It has MacDonald & bubble tea shop nearby for comfort food. However, it is a 20 min walk from the main ticketing entrance for foreigners for day and evening tickets. Though it is quite a distance, but it is better than getting stuck in the heavy traffic during this peak season. Talking a stroll, passing by the restaurants are ok. The owner is fantastic — they assisted us with one parcel collection from Taobao, which was a huge help since collecting them ourselves would have been inconvenient. They also send our family out to the main road as our 9 seater big bus is not able to enter the small lane to the homestay. To walk to the main road, there is a staircase which is about 1 min walk up. Ok for young and young seniors, but may not be very suitable for very old people with walking difficulties. Overall, this is a highly recommended stay for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a host who goes the extra mile!
