"Jianglu's service is exceptional. I had previously read reviews mentioning that while the facilities were good, the service fell short, and I almost missed out on this hidden gem of a hotel. During my visit to Meili Snow Mountain, I stayed at Songtsam, Ji Xia Shan, Jianglu, and Shi Qi. I feel I can confidently comment on the overall service of each. First, regarding butler service: I made a last-minute booking for Jianglu around 5 PM, and immediately after, Jianglu contacted me to add my butler on WeChat. Songtsam added me two days in advance. For Shi Qi, I had to actively call them in the late afternoon, almost 5 PM, the day before check-in to get added. Ji Xia Shan didn't contact me until almost 8 PM the night before check-in, and again, I had to call them to add the butler (Ji Xia Shan explained that they had called me around 3 PM that afternoon but no one answered, and then they asked Trip.com to send me an SMS, but no one followed up to check on the next day's guests – I was quite disappointed by this, as I would have been forgotten if I hadn't called proactively). Aside from these issues, the butler service at all hotels was generally good. Regarding location and snow mountain views: Jianglu is right next to the observation deck, directly facing the Thirteen Peaks – an excellent location. You can enjoy panoramic views of the snow mountain from the balcony, though it's a bit tricky to see while lying down. Ji Xia Shan is more secluded; only the suites seem to offer direct snow mountain views from the room, while other rooms don't. During summer, definitely avoid the Yunling room type. They claim you can see Baima and Meili Snow Mountain, but it's completely obstructed by vegetation. You'd be better off booking a cheaper room type. The floor-to-ceiling windows in Ji Xia Shan's fourth-floor cafe observation deck offer stunning snow mountain views. Shi Qi is across the road from Feilai Temple observation deck, surrounded by bookstores, cultural creative shops, convenience stores, and many other guesthouses. I chose the 'Lianshan' room, which in pictures showed the bed directly facing the snow mountain, but it's not actually direct. The cafe also has floor-to-ceiling windows, offering beautiful snow mountain views. Songtsam's snow mountain rooms truly allow you to see the snow mountain from bed. Songtsam is located on a separate mountain, and it's the only hotel there. So, if your budget is around 3,000 RMB, unless you're staying at Songtsam where you can see the snow mountain from bed, for other hotels, I recommend booking the cheapest room type and just going to the observation deck for the views. Regarding noise: If you prefer peace and quiet, definitely avoid Shi Qi. The Feilai Temple scenic area is very lively, and new hotels are being built nearby, plus the hotel itself is renovating its restaurant. The hotel is also right by the road, with large trucks frequently passing by and honking – the noise is truly terrible. However, if you enjoy a lively atmosphere, the Feilai Temple area is like a small town with many shops, and construction hours are from 9 AM to 6 PM. Jianglu, Ji Xia Shan, and Songtsam, on the other hand, are all very quiet and perfect for a relaxing and healthy getaway. Regarding dining: The food at all these places is decent. Shi Qi's meal prices are significantly cheaper than the others, though their stir-fries are a bit on the oily side. Only Songtsam's breakfast starts at 7 AM, which is great for early risers or those needing to leave early. Songtsam's beef 'er-si' (rice noodles) is delicious; when I asked the chef for a few more pieces of beef, he gave me a whole bowlful. The other hotels' breakfasts all start at 8 AM. Jianglu is unique in that breakfast runs until 1 PM and is unlimited. Regarding afternoon tea: The cakes at Shi Qi's afternoon tea are very good, and they have many drink options. Jianglu's afternoon tea is simpler, with only green tea available. However, their paid coffee bar offers a wide selection of drinks, including hot cocktails, which was a pleasant surprise for me as I can't have cold drinks. Songtsam's afternoon tea is buffet-style. Ji Xia Shan offers complimentary coffee and tea all day, and their afternoon tea features delicious dried beef. Regarding facilities: Jianglu is quite distinctive and very thoughtful. Besides the usual fruits and snacks, Jianglu's rooms also provide facial masks and facial cleansing towels, and even condoms. At the front desk, you can find self-service makeup remover wipes, hair ties, hair clips, motion sickness patches, and more. Regarding ginger tea: For me, ginger tea is excellent for relieving altitude sickness and stomach discomfort. Songtsam's ginger tea is the best, with perfect taste and temperature. Jianglu's is a bit too sweet and lukewarm, Ji Xia Shan's is too spicy, and Shi Qi doesn't offer ginger tea. In summary, I am very satisfied with Jianglu. Coincidentally, I only saw the 'Golden Mountain at Sunrise' during my stay at Jianglu, which felt very fortunate. Jianglu is also great for photos, with a very textured feel, and I was very happy with the travel photoshoot I had there."

"The hotel's location is fantastic, directly across from the bus station and just a few minutes' walk (about 400 meters) from the Feilai Temple viewpoint – super convenient! The hotel is clean and comfortable, with very spacious rooms. It's equipped with diffused oxygen supply and underfloor heating, so it's not cold at all. Breakfast is provided, and for dinner, they offer yak hot pot and free-range chicken hot pot, both of which are quite tasty. The staff are also very attentive and thoughtful. Overall, it was a great stay."

"I've been wanting to visit Ji Xia Shan for five years, and I absolutely love the overall design style. It was just as I imagined, and the service was incredibly warm; everyone was smiling and friendly. The rooftop bar has little notebooks where you can write your own stories and read others' thoughts. It's a shame that it was foggy these past few days so I couldn't see the magnificent snow-capped mountains, but I look forward to seeing them next time."

"This was truly a moving stay! We checked in during Chinese New Year, and because of a flight delay, we didn't arrive until after midnight. The owner came out in the middle of the night to help us with our luggage, turned on the oxygen machine for us, and even brought us instant noodles – absolutely thoughtful! What was even more touching was when they later found out we wanted to go to the observation deck the night before to secure a parking spot. They proactively offered to pick us up, knowing that walking would involve an uphill climb and be quite tiring. My goodness, they offered to pick us up! Even though it was only a 5-minute walk, with the altitude and the climb, the owner's thoughtfulness was incredible and brought tears to my eyes. Getting back to the point, the hotel's location is excellent. The rooftop terrace goes without saying, and the interior of the guesthouse is also absolutely amazing. I've attached photos – perfect for those 'once-in-a-lifetime' shots!"

"Facilities: They have everything you could ask for – smart toilets, a projector, and even two oxygen concentrators! Very reassuring. Hygiene: Visibly quite clean. Environment: The location at Wunongding is absolutely amazing. It's a shame we didn't get to see the 'Golden Mountain in the Sunlight' from Wunongding, but I'd still highly recommend staying there if you can. This place has a 5th-floor terrace with an excellent view, so you don't have to jostle with crowds. Service: The service was great! The staff (both male and female) were incredibly enthusiastic and even upgraded our room when one was available. Since we arrived late on the first day, they kindly changed our afternoon tea to coffee for the second day. It was a very pleasant stay."

"I stayed in a basic room, and the package was a great value. The public areas offer even better spots for taking photos with the snowy mountains in the background! The sixth floor has the best views, while the third floor is perfect for reflection shots. The ground floor is also nice, but it would be even better if the hotel could manage the large glass windows on the first floor during sunrise – otherwise, you'll get a lot of cars in your photos. In the evening, the fifth floor is a great spot, and the bartender there is super friendly! The food was filling, and breakfast was decent with some local specialty side dishes. Most importantly, I got to see the 'golden mountain under the morning sun,' so overall I'm very satisfied. The Puerh tea at the front desk was also delicious. They have sachet-making activities at 9 AM and 9 PM daily! A sachet costs 58 RMB in Dukezong Ancient City. The travel photography service is also pretty good, as the hotel has many photogenic spots. I did my own makeup, then changed into the hotel's clothes. The lighting is excellent around 9 AM and 6 PM. I ended up choosing a dozen photos for 1088 RMB, which was a bit pricey. One minor drawback: oxygen supply isn't available during the day, and even when it is, the intensity feels a bit weak. I had some trouble sleeping the first night. It only got better after I propped up my upper body and opened the window a bit. Also, without the underfloor heating on, it was still a bit warm."

"The room was great, with a direct view of the snow-capped mountains right outside the window. We were so lucky to see the 'golden mountains' lit up by the morning sun. The hotel staff were all very professional and friendly. We arrived by bus, and the hotel provided a shuttle service. Breakfast was also good. You can also visit the seventh-floor cafe, which has a terrace observation deck and offers afternoon tea."

"The hotel's location is excellent, right across from the Wunongding viewing platform for Meili Snow Mountain. You can directly view the snow-capped mountains from your bed on the balcony. If you're taking photos, a white pagoda in front might obstruct the view, so you'd need to go down to the viewing platform below. The hotel facilities are very comprehensive, including an oxygen concentrator and a humidifier. The decor style is both modern and incorporates ******* elements. During the Spring Festival, the hotel's dinner is a set menu, requiring reservations, costing around 270-280 RMB for three people. The dining area features a long table, which feels very ceremonial, and there are two fireplaces in the back that create a medieval ambiance when lit. We stayed here for two nights, and on the second evening, we ordered hotpot. The owner even gave us an extra platter of beef, and we also ordered a bottle of local ice wine, which tasted quite good. Breakfast is a set menu, with rich milk and rice noodles served in ceramic pots; both were delicious. The hotel's exterior is the white building on the far left of image 4 below. We stayed for two nights, originally planning for a backup day in case we missed the 'Golden Mountain in the Morning Sun' phenomenon, but we were incredibly lucky to witness it beautifully on both days. The scenery was absolutely stunning."

"The most surprising thing about this trip to Yubeng was to choose the Slow Mountain Hotel. The location is in Yubeng Village. The view of the room is really amazing. You can face the snow-capped mountains directly when you sit in the house. The scenery is unobstructed. It is completely beyond expectations that the food in the store is very appetizing. It is really rare to eat such a delicious meal in the mountains where the transportation of materials is inconvenient. The store especially knows hiking tourists. In addition to exquisite afternoon tea, you can also change to hiking meals. His burger must be tried. The filling is solid and tastes great. It is just right to replenish energy on the mountain road. The comfort of high-altitude accommodation is full, the room is equipped with oxygen supply equipment, humidifier, and small whole house smart, no need to manually switch lights and adjust equipment, live easily and worry-free. The service details are particularly poking people. The staff will take the initiative to call to confirm our arrival time before check-in and make arrangements in advance. The room also prepared a foot bath bucket, which was sore for a few days on foot. After soaking at night, the fatigue of the feet disappeared and the warmth was full. From just arriving at the store to checking in, to three meals, every staff member in the store is gentle and enthusiastic, and the demand is very fast. The whole trip was comfortable, satisfied, and the scenery was excellent. There was no slot. After that, a friend came to Yubeng. I will definitely recommend Slow Mountain!"

"I booked the Yunshu, room F02, and I highly recommend this room type. The location is absolutely perfect, right above the Meili road sign. Personally, I think the view of the snow-capped mountains from the room is even better than from the Feilai Temple viewing platform downstairs. The floor-to-ceiling window next to the sofa in the room directly faces the Shennü Peak, and you can also see Kawagebo, though unfortunately, the weather wasn't good on the day I was there, so I missed out on that. The room also provides a tripod, which you can set up on the balcony for photos. The afternoon tea was also great; I absolutely loved the sour tamarind iced Americano. We also had dinner on the first floor (basement), and the food was delicious with generous portions. The staff were all very friendly and even gave us a special souvenir, a cute little cup, when we left. It's a shame we didn't get to see the 'golden mountains in the sun' due to the weather.
