"The hotel is located in the core area of Shengsi Island, adjacent to Qin Park. It takes only 5 minutes to reach the beach by electric car. It is very pleasant to take a walk in the morning and evening. There are complete restaurants and convenience stores around. It takes about 15 minutes to take a taxi to Lizhushan Pier, with convenient transportation. The room is spacious and clean, and you can watch the sunset. The latex mattress and down pillow are really comfortable, and the shower water pressure is sufficient. The front desk staff is very enthusiastic and professional, and gave away fruit, which is very sweet. The 24-hour free laundry room and dryer are very practical for island tours! The breakfast is very rich, including tofu brain, seafood noodles, Western salad, unlimited seafood shrimp, razor clams, and conchs. The best meal in Shengsi is the hotel breakfast. There is enough water in the room, and there are cold drinks in the refrigerator. The public areas and rooms are cleaned very cleanly. The price is slightly higher in peak season, and the hotel also has a reading area and a fitness area."

"Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay. The hotel was clean and quiet, and the rooms had great views, with sea views right from the balcony. The front desk and butler services were excellent, with prompt communication and shuttle arrangements, which made things much easier. The breakfast selection wasn't particularly extensive, but the food was delicious and replenished promptly. The public areas and pool were great for taking photos, making it a perfect place for a relaxing vacation. I would definitely stay here again."

"We had a lovely stay at Sea Cliff Hotel for May 1st break. This is what I liked: - buying ship ticket for May holiday was mission impossible, starting with Tickets App not accepting foreign passports. Hotel helped me with arranging the tickets both ways, even after there were no tickets online (sold out in 20 min) - they arranged a pick us up on arrival and brought us back to the pier on departure - hotel has an excellent sea view location, very silent and sea centric rooms, same for restaurant - everything is modern, I specifically liked ability to share Apple screens on TV in the room, great way to review photos and watch own movies in the evening - good breakfast 8 to 9AM, you can come 8:45 and enjoy a late breakfast as well; we also had late lunch in hotel restaurant on arrival, great food, great to seat outside, flexible working hours (not closed 14-17!), actually I liked their meals more than what we had on the main beach top restaurant, finally reception can brew you a coffee though bit hot - there is 20 min walk from the hotel for a great bay and coffee place to watch sunset, excellent experience and no need to wake up early - hotel was always online on WeChat to address any issues or questions, including how to organize a day, fantastic services! - hotel has own beach area, looks like good to swim, I will consider for summer, water is clean on the island, and this is just couple of hours from Shanghai - small drawback: fishing boats pass by from early morning, this may disturb your morning sleep ;) - other thing the bed is a bit too hard for my back, but where did you see soft beds in China? Overall: highly recommended!"

"The rooms are spacious and bright, elegantly decorated and well equipped. The hotel has leisure facilities such as swimming pools, gardens and other facilities, and sound insulation is good. The front desk lady also upgraded the room, had dinner on the beach at night, and could also watch the bonfire party directly. I was very satisfied with this stay! But rooms below v7 are not recommended to book. Compared with the lack of hygiene and comfort, but living on the beach, going out is the beach, sleeping in the RV can enjoy the sunrise, it is still very refreshing!"

"This guesthouse, perched on a hill, seems to be quite popular with influencers, featuring many Instagrammable photo spots. Both the rooms and the restaurant boast floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the sea, with the rooms directly facing the Rainbow Lighthouse. The restaurant's view is also fantastic; having breakfast with that sea view in the morning is incredibly enjoyable. Unfortunately, the weather on our first day was terrible, with strong winds and heavy rain, which completely dampened my enthusiasm for taking photos. I imagine it would be amazing to visit in the summer! The in-room amenities were a bit lacking; perhaps to maintain a stylish look, there weren't many power outlets. However, the service attitude was absolutely superb—they were always ready to help. They even gave plenty of advice to us fishing novices who were enthusiastic but unskilled. I must also mention the free pick-up and drop-off service, which saved us a good amount of money, considering that taxi fares on Shengshan and Gouqi Islands can be quite expensive. The recommended driver was also very nice. I'd definitely come back in the summer just for this level of service!"

"I have always wanted to have a chance to visit Shengsi, the easternmost part of the motherland, to see the sunrise and sunset. I chose Wind Villa because it only takes ten minutes to walk to the East Cliff Cliff to watch the sunrise, and it is very close to the No Man's Village and Xiyang Bay to watch the sunset. In addition, you can watch the sunset and the waves of the sea by sitting in front of the floor-to-ceiling window in the room. As soon as I entered the hotel, I was attracted by the pure white decoration style, which was full of Instagram style. I felt that I would not feel lonely drinking coffee here for an afternoon. The water curtain flower room here is also very romantic and super suitable for taking pictures. Go home, where shall I go? The affairs of life come and go like a shuttle. Wait for leisure to watch the autumn wind and the clear waves of Luo River!"

"The large villa, boasting a prime beachfront location, was simply breathtaking. Opening the window immediately offered stunning sea views. Nantangtu Beach is just a stone's throw away, with its incredibly soft sand and gentle waves – the vast, azure ocean felt like it was all ours! We had a fantastic time on the beach with the kids, playing in the surf, going out to sea, and even trying out an amphibious vehicle. The hotel's own water park was a huge hit with the little ones, offering swimming, water slides, and a wave pool for some surfing fun! We instantly felt the pure joy of a beach holiday; a whole day wasn't nearly enough to enjoy everything. The villa itself was wonderfully designed, immaculately clean, and luxuriously appointed, with everything very well-maintained. We'll definitely choose the Ramada Hotel again for our next visit to Shengsi – it truly delivered a complete and immersive holiday experience."

"The service was excellent, and the room itself was very spacious. I appreciated the self-service laundry facilities. Breakfast, though not extensive, was clean and perfectly sufficient for my needs. The view is a definite highlight – absolutely breathtaking! You get stunning vistas of the blue sea, with fishing boats and cruise ships passing by directly in front, making it incredibly photogenic. While the guesthouse's restaurant is quite pricey (about double the cost of external seafood places), it offers comfortable, convenient, and clean dining, and you get to enjoy those fantastic sea-view tables. For more affordable seafood, I'd suggest checking out the smaller restaurants around Dawang Beach. The room amenities were generally excellent, with smart toilets and automatic curtains. My only minor complaint was the air conditioning, which was quite noisy. For a truly relaxing escape, a two-night stay would be ideal."

"After arriving in Shengsi from Sanjiang Wharf, you can go directly to the Bainaqi Lake Beach Hotel for check-in. The two locations are about 3 kilometers apart, a mere 8-minute drive. The hotel is just a short walk from the hotel, leading directly to Bainaqi Lake Beach, known as the ”Southern Beidaihe,” with its fine, soft sand, making it a core base for exploring Shengsi's islands. It's recommended to head straight to Bainaqi Lake Beach after dropping off your luggage on your first day. During the day, you can enjoy water sports such as beach go-karts, jet skis, and banana boats, or simply walk barefoot on the sand and splash in the waves, relaxing on a beach chair and enjoying the sea breeze. In the evening, watch the sunset paint the sea orange, creating stunning photos. After nightfall, stroll along the nearby Jinsha Road seafood street and enjoy a fresh seafood barbecue. If you're lucky, you might even catch a beach bonfire party. For a more off-the-beaten-path experience, bring a small flashlight and search for small crabs and clams on the beach – a truly fun activity. On the second day, we recommend getting up early to watch the sunrise over the sea at Liujingtan or Heshangtao. The white lighthouse against the orange glow of dawn is a classic photo opportunity in Shengsi. Before heading back, you can visit the Donghai Fishing Ground Museum to learn about Shengsi's fishing culture, or cycle along the Left Bank Road, enjoying the sea breeze and the stunning scenery of cliffs, flower fields, and fishing villages blending together. Afterwards, head to the Bernabéu Hotel to rest, as it's a convenient departure point for your return trip to Shenjiawan Wharf. The temperature difference between day and night on the island is significant, so we recommend bringing a light jacket. When playing on the beach, remember to wear sunscreen and comfortable sandals. Driving is convenient. We suggest booking ferry tickets in advance through official channels, and be sure to allow ample time to reach the wharf."

"The location of the B&B is very good. You can walk to the Shanhai Wonders and Longquan Beach. It is recommended to take a taxi to Dawang Beach. The B&B has designated taxis, which is very convenient whether you go out or come back! The service attitude of the housekeeper is proactive and the response speed is fast. I also participated in the snow skin mooncake event of the B&B on the night of the Mid-Autumn Festival. I made food by myself, which was so delicious! We booked three different room types. We were very satisfied with the room layout, bathroom configuration, and hygiene level. The sea view outside the window was excellent. The public area is also very bright and elegant, suitable for daze. The restaurant is also made of wooden tables and chairs, with sufficient air conditioning and a long outdoor dining table with a good view. Of course, as a foodie, the most unforgettable thing is a bowl of seafood noodles and crab fried rice cakes in the restaurant. The rice cakes are so delicious! The seafood noodles are so spicy! In addition to the fish being fresh, the portion and taste are no worse than those of Dawang Village Seafood Restaurant, and the price is about the same as that of Dawang Village! I will recommend it to everyone after returning to Shanghai! My mother has decided to bring a group of girlfriends to come again!"
