"Perched on a cliff, the views from this guesthouse are, of course, incredible. The only minor workout is the uphill walk back after exploring, haha. To the left of the guesthouse entrance, you'll quickly reach Xiyang Bay, boasting super beautiful scenery. Turn right and head downhill; a short walk following your navigation will lead you directly to the town center.
The large swimming pool features a swing chair, perfect for sitting in the evening, enjoying the sea breeze, and watching the sunset. It's incredibly relaxing, as the platform offers wide, unobstructed views. Our room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. The only slight hiccup was the balcony door; I couldn't figure out how to open it for a long time, and the front desk eventually had to come up and show me. Otherwise, everything else was perfectly fine.
Each room receives two complimentary drinks; just ask the bar. They also provide a convenient free pier shuttle service. All my photos were taken within the guesthouse grounds. There's no need to even step out; you can easily spend hours capturing beautiful shots right here. The lower level, in particular, has a wonderful Moroccan vibe.
On checkout day, the kind lady at the bar noticed me waiting for my driver and thoughtfully brought me a complimentary slice of watermelon."

"I came to Gouqi Island with my friends and stayed for two days. Let’s talk about the advantages first:
[1] The location is really good. It is next to Dawang Beach and seafood street. It is very convenient for eating and shopping. It is also very close to Dawang Bus Station. You can take the bus to the pier and save money.
[2] The overall accommodation environment is good. The landlord's aunt and uncle are very nice and kind. They will take the initiative to say hello and introduce the driver.
There are some slight flaws:
【1】The bath water is not too hot. Fortunately, it is not too cold in this season. I took a cold bath for two days and overall it was okay. I asked the landlady and she said it was a problem with the water pressure. It was true that the water flow was small, but it wasn't very warm either. I originally wanted to ask the landlady again what was going on, but since the weather was not cold I could make do with it, so I decided not to.
[2] The sound insulation of the room is not very good. We live in a room at the entrance of the stairs. Basically, we can hear the sounds outside clearly at night and in the morning. Sometimes we encounter noisy residents, which is a bit unbearable.

The 'Stargazer Dome' can get quite warm in summer, so make sure to turn on the AC well in advance. Despite this, the views are absolutely stunning. When washing up after the trip, my husband found a used disposable toothbrush and a dusty scrub bag in the shower. It was probably blocked by the edge of the shelf and the cleaning staff didn't see it. But for consumers, that means the shower room was not cleaned. In the end, it was discovered that there were indeed stains on the washing hardware (including the sink) that had not been wiped off, and the housekeeper was informed of it when checking out.
