The Yunmeiting Hotel provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. The Yunmeiting Hotel is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Mengla. The hotel is approximately 37km away from Ganlanba Railway Station. Ganlanba Railway Station is approximately 37km away by road. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Menglun Tourist Resort, Passion Fruit Garden and Suspension Bridge all nearby. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. For those driving themselves, parking is provided on site. According to our guests, this hotel provides a very high level of service. For guests traveling with families, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.
"This was the second hotel we stayed at on our birdwatching trip in Menglun. It was originally a backup plan because we booked the Wanglian Hotel late, but after staying there, we found it to be a hidden gem. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the west gate of the botanical garden and the suspension bridge, which is very convenient. We walked there from the botanical garden.
Upon arriving at the hotel, we were immediately greeted by warm service. The landlady was incredibly welcoming, and there were complimentary candies, snacks, and fruits for guests to enjoy while they waited – a very thoughtful touch. After check-in, you can add the service WeChat account to let them know the breakfast time and location, nearby restaurants, and the Wi-Fi password. The service response time is also very fast; my room had a problem with the TV's internet connection, and it was resolved within 10 minutes. I think that's impressive for the town.
The hotel facilities are relatively new, with a mahogany interior and ethnic style. The facilities are quite complete, and surprisingly, it even has a small gym – great! It's nice to get some exercise after a long day. The breakfast selection isn't extensive, but it's sufficient. If you don't want to eat breakfast there, there are many snack shops and night markets nearby. For example, there are many Dai-style restaurants in the village within a 500-meter walk of the hotel, offering authentic local flavors that are worth trying. The hotel has a relatively large parking lot, making it convenient for tourists arriving by car. A small gift is given upon check-out, which is also a nice touch.
Overall, we stayed here for two nights, and our biggest impression was how incredibly welcoming the owner was. We were always ready to chat and provided a lot of information. If you're not particularly keen on the botanical garden night tour, this is a very good value accommodation in Menglun."

"The hotel's location right next to the botanical garden was super convenient for both evening and daytime visits with our child. Even though the facilities are a bit dated, the service and cleanliness were exceptional. Every staff member was so welcoming and enthusiastic. We had dinner at the hotel three times, and both the Chinese and Western dishes were delicious. The set menus were great value for money, and the 'Peacock Feast' was incredibly generous! The hotel also offered daily lantern-floating activities, and there were plenty of engaging activities for kids. On top of that, the complimentary travel photoshoot was fantastic! We got some amazing shots right on the hotel grounds. The makeup artist, photographer, and photo selector were all very professional, and the package price was reasonable, leaving us with wonderful memories from our trip. I have to especially commend the hotel's SPA! It was so incredibly relaxing, it felt like I was back in Thailand for a second! The therapists had expert techniques, and the products are supposedly made with ingredients imported from Thailand. I even bought some facial products after my session – a truly unforgettable experience! The riverside infinity pool is another highlight of the hotel, and our child absolutely loved it!"

"Lovely hotel between the border police and the railway station. We stayed just one night. The people working at the hotel are highly dedicated and service minded. If you do not speak Chinese you should install a translator app so you can communicate with the reception. They arranged a transfer for us for the railway station. Comfortable rooms and large bathroom. Better than European standards."

"I highly recommend Mengla Yunman Hotel!
I was pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade upon check-in. The room was spotlessly clean, which made me feel very comfortable and at ease during my stay. The hotel staff were friendly and always ready to help, which really enhanced the service experience. The hotel isn't far from Manlongle, and the Saturday market there is definitely worth a visit – it offers an authentic Dai ethnic experience with great food and shopping. I had a wonderful time and rested well. The hotel offers great value for money, and I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit!"

"This was the first hotel we stayed at after arriving in Xishuangbanna. The environment was very quiet and the greenery was beautiful. It's a pity we arrived late at night and had to leave the next morning; my family said we should have come earlier to visit the local markets, see the Buddhist temples, and go rafting. There were some small flying insects in the wooden villas, but in a tropical rainforest area near a river, I think it's quite normal and acceptable. If you can't accept this, I suggest not coming to Mengla; this place is all about returning to nature. So I don't quite understand people who give negative reviews about small flying insects; these insects fly in the air, they're not crawling on the bed. The hotel breakfast included local specialty rice noodles, which were delicious."

"The room was very clean and the location was very good, just two or three minutes' drive from the west gate of the Botanical Garden. The service attitude is very good. During the Spring Festival, the girl at the front desk gave me a souvenir when I left the store. There is a parking space with direct elevator access. There is a fast food restaurant downstairs. But the breakfast is very simple, and there is almost nothing at 8:30. I read online that it is from Chengdu, and I understand it when compared to Huayang, but I think it is a little weaker than Huayang, but it is clean when I am away from home. It's good to have both health and service. Besides, it's during the Spring Festival. I still give the hotel a thumbs up for the attentive service, but the hardware hasn't kept up."

GGuest UserThe hotel offers a pickup service, which was absolutely perfect! The owner herself picked us up and dropped us off. Upon arrival, a staff member helped with our luggage, which was a thoughtful touch. I was amazed when I entered the room; it was even better than the pictures! The room was spacious, clean, and tidy. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation. This place was a pleasant surprise, offering excellent value for money. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Mengla for business or leisure. Wishing the owner a thriving business!

Behind the hotel is the Nanla River. In the evening, you can take a walk along the river and walk to the Star Night Market. The hotel went out and turned left. It took about ten minutes to walk along the road. There was a rice noodle shop that was very delicious for many years. It is very convenient to take a taxi to other places for ten yuan.
The hotel staff are also very good, warm and friendly. In short, stayed for three nights very comfortable and very recommended.

GGuest UserThis hotel was amazing. It’s only a year old but the amenities look like it’s brand new and inside of the room seems no different from a five-star. The only thing missing was a bathroom scale. Nice courtyard pool below just big enough to do some short laps and a kilometer from the night market. Interesting little area and they have street side eatery outside with a good view. The best part though is the manager Mr. Wu was exceptionally helpful. When he saw me arriving by bicycle, he did everything he could to make my stay more pleasant and even offered to go the extra mile with extra service and help. An unbelievable bargain, and a nice end to my journey.

However, the facilities are undeniably outdated; it's an old-fashioned hotel, and the breakfast is just average. Even for an old hotel, it barely scrapes by as a 3-star. The lack of charging stations is a major inconvenience, as you have to drive more than ten minutes from the east gate to the west gate to charge. But, if you're planning night tours and daytime sightseeing, I genuinely recommend it because you can directly access everything from the hotel lobby, which means more sleep! Despite the hotel being old, the service is prompt and the staff are quite nice.

GGuest UserThis hotel is the most satisfying hotel for our trip to Xishuangbanna this time. My child and I settled in after traveling through Yulin, Mengyuan Wonderland. When I checked in, I learned that the hotel has a wedding banquet restaurant that may not accept individual guests at night. After the hotel reception knew that we hadn’t had lunch, I specifically contacted the restaurant to confirm whether it can accept individual guests. We just called the front desk at the room and said it would be 4:30 You can go downstairs to eat, and the restaurant also called the room to inform us to go downstairs to order food. I would like to thank you. This meal is also the most delicious meal of this trip. I found that this hotel can also be very careful to put a USB charging plug next to the bed for the convenience of guests.

You can't enter through the border, so you can only take a picture from afar. The hotel's location is good, not far from either the old or new border crossings, and there are many restaurants nearby, though the prices are a bit high. Another complaint: taxis in Mohan are a real headache. They don't use meters, charge a flat rate of 20 yuan per person, and are difficult to hail. It seems there are no buses.

Next, the front desk service was exceptional. Upon our arrival, the hotel owner personally helped us with our luggage, and the front desk staff were very professional. The check-in process was smooth and seamless.
The breakfast was quite good too. For a hotel located near the botanical garden, it offered a surprisingly substantial spread.
Finally, we mistakenly booked a room without a window. When we inquired about switching rooms, the hotel generously offered us a complimentary upgrade.
Overall, if you're planning a trip to the botanical garden and intend to stay overnight, this hotel is definitely worth considering.

The hotel staff were incredibly warm and attentive. Check-in was swift, and they even thoughtfully recommended some great local eateries. The location is also superb, making it very convenient for getting around. I'll definitely be choosing this place again!
The ambiance was elegant, the room decor felt very cozy, and all the facilities were top-notch. The breakfast spread offered a wide variety to satisfy all tastes. Overall, it was excellent value for money.
