"The environment was beautiful, the view of the Nanla River from the balcony was fantastic, and the room's decor and amenities were also quite nice. I stayed during the off-season, so it was quiet and peaceful with few people. At night, some water birds or other animals called out outside the balcony, which startled me. The hotel offered a 30% discount on rafting, so after the first day's rafting, I stayed an extra day and went rafting again the next day. It happened to be during a market day, so the food wasn't great, but I thought the atmosphere was wonderful. I didn't drive, so I ate at the hotel restaurant both days. The two ladies there were very cheerful and friendly; on sunny days, we ate outdoors by the river while enjoying the breeze. After rafting, my pants were wet, so I just took my plate of fried rice back to my room. The hotel also helped me book a car back to Mengla County after checking out. A truly wonderful vacation experience. Except for not seeing the dragon fruit lanterns in spring and summer, I had absolutely no regrets."

"This hotel boasts expansive grounds with lush greenery, and the staff are incredibly welcoming. As soon as we arrived, they eagerly helped with our luggage. The buggy service for getting around the hotel or to our room was always promptly available when called. The hotel breakfast was also varied and delicious. It's very family-friendly, with a free-to-guests teen club offering game consoles, table tennis, foosball, and chess, which is a great perk. The room facilities were standard, but the balcony was exceptionally large and even had a drying rack for clothes. However, due to the rainy season, clothes wouldn't dry easily. Also, be careful on the balcony during the rainy season as it can be slippery with moss. The only downside was that the TV in our room had some issues; the remote wasn't very responsive, and it would turn on and off by itself in the middle of the night, which was a bit spooky. The hotel is right next to the Chinese Academy of Sciences Forest Park, just a four to five-minute drive away. The park is vast and lovely to explore, and it's a great educational outing for kids."

"The hotel environment is very good, there are several peacocks, vegetables grown by themselves, and there is a primitive Dai village next to it that you can visit. It is recommended that those who come to Ban Na and want to go to Laos can choose to stay here. There are also many entertainment facilities, and the breakfast reflects the exquisiteness of Shanghai."

"The facilities are great: newly renovated, spacious rooms, and an elevator. There's a strange smell in the hallway, but not in the rooms. It has a smart assistant for controls and good soundproofing. There's a swimming pool with shared floats and a gym. Plus, there's a washer and dryer, which is super convenient. The environment is nice: wide roads in the new city, making parking easy. The service is excellent: The front desk has everything you might need, like nail clippers, hair ties, and band-aids. The breakfast is rich and varied, with freshly cooked rice noodles and rice cakes that are delicious. For 200 yuan, the value for money is exceptional! I stayed for one night and didn't want to leave, so I extended my stay for another night."

"The Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden (XTBG) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences is about 50 kilometers from Jinghong city. Its East and West sections are quite large, and a full day isn't enough to explore everything. I'd read stories about botanists from the Academy before, so I made the botanical garden a priority and decided to stay at a hotel within it. The room rate I booked online included entrance tickets, which made it a pretty good deal for two people. After our rental car arrived at the East Gate, I called the hotel front desk, and they allowed us to enter. On the afternoon of our arrival, we explored the larger East Section's rainforest, which offered a stunning view of various rainforest vegetation. The hotel's restaurant was quite good; the local dishes at dinner were authentic, and I even saw family gatherings of XTBG staff – quite a change from how their predecessors lived! The next morning, we hired a guide and toured the different areas of the West Section. All in all, choosing to stay at the botanical garden hotel made this trip incredibly rewarding. Facilities: The in-room facilities met our needs, and the small balcony offered views of the flora and fauna. Hygiene: Clean and tidy. Environment: The botanical garden environment is unique and relaxing. Service: The front desk and restaurant service were excellent, and the breakfast offered a good variety, including local specialty snacks."

"A very grand hotel, the rooms are clean and tidy, and the landscape is unique. It would be better if the swimming pool is open during the hours. Good reviews. If I have the opportunity to return to Mengla in the future, I will continue to stay at this hotel."

Complimentary welcome fruit was provided. The front desk staff were very responsive. Thumbs up! The swimming pool was being cleaned and not filled with water, so I won't comment on that. The rooms were spacious. Again, I want to reiterate that the cleanliness was good and the facilities were new. For a small town, this is considered relatively good accommodation. I would recommend staying here."
