"The triple room was a bit cramped, but with some clever rearranging, it worked out great. The bathroom's odor extraction and dehumidifying features were surprisingly powerful, and I have no idea how they managed it since there's no visible switch or noise. Every day, I'd head to the second-floor hot spring bath; it was so relaxing and never crowded. Just remember to bring your room key to scan for entry. The hotel is conveniently located directly across from Hokkaido University, offering beautiful and pleasant views. We even found a university supermarket next to the campus cafeteria with delightful prices for souvenirs and food, where I snagged some limited-edition Sapporo Agricultural College egg tarts! The hotel's surroundings offer excellent transportation links; it's less than a ten-minute walk to the JR station's North Exit and Daimaru Department Store."

"It was pretty good. The view from the 24th floor was excellent, and the public bath was larger than the Dormy Inn I stayed at before. The triple room was also very nice. Although the 0.9-meter-wide bed was a bit narrow for my 14-year-old, he didn't mind, and I prefer us all sleeping together, as it helps us bond more with him. The only hassle was the air conditioning was too hot; I suggest they not turn it off completely but instead set it to the lowest temperature of 18 degrees."

"Pretty good! It's really close to the subway station, and we had a great view of Nakajima Park's snowy scenery from our window. The triple room was also very spacious, offering excellent value for money. There was a Chinese-speaking staff member at the front desk, so communication was a breeze. Plus, the lobby connects directly to a Lawson convenience store, which was incredibly convenient!"

Cchetl53Dinner: Kaiseki Ryori: We stayed for two nights, and the kaiseki dinner on the first night wasn't very good; the taste was mediocre, and some of the pairings just didn't work. The second night, I didn't want sashimi, so I asked the hotel if everything could be cooked, and it turned out to be surprisingly better than the first night. Meanwhile, I saw the people next to us still getting various sashimi dishes.

AAhmad MostafaAfter spending six days in MGallery Hotel Sapporo, I can safely say this is not an ordinary hotel. Reception at 5 pm was professional, efficient and friendly. I didn’t have to wait. Well done. Takako and Cindy provided a warm, informative and professional service.
The concierge was helpful and welcoming. Very useful in a freezing outdoor climate - thank you Alex.
My room was as requested, 524. I booked a king room and it met my expectations. The design is lovely. The bathroom is not huge, but is well appointed with a bath and a separate shower. The room is very quiet and I had a very pleasant sleeping experience.
The hotel and my room are in excellent condition, with a high standard of decor and presentation. Clearly recently renovated. The design is first class. It combines a beautiful Japanese style, with classical and traditional designs. The result is very pleasant - Chic!
WiFi worked well. The room airconditioning was a little too hot for me, so I turned it off, and that was fine for me. The two guest’s lifts are fast and worked well over the six floors.
House keeping is also of a high standard as you would expect from a high end Accor hotel. This is especially so in Japan where service is an art form.
I had access to the executive lounge. It was a good experience. It provides a comfortable and cosy atmosphere, and the food quality is nice. The chefs are friendly and caring, thank you James. The lounge staff are first class. Thank you very much to Yokiku, Kaumini and chief Minoru for your attentive and excellent service. I appreciated your kind service.
The only negative I am sorry to say is the occasional noisy foreigners who don’t appreciate the quiet, polite, refined and subtle Japanese culture.
The location is convenient, and is about 15 minutes easy walk from the main Shinkansen station. Being in a built up area there aren’t any views of parks etc, but rather the city landscape. The hotel is 5-10 minutes walk to a variety of wonderful shopping areas.
Additionally, there are major shopping malls in the Shinkansen station area. Nearby, you can find many restaurants that should suit most people’s cuisine, budget and type of food.
Taxies are available at the hotel entrance. Buses and subway stations are nearby and provide access to various parts of the city. There are several attractions within 30-60 minutes of the hotel such as temples, museums and regional attractions. Ms Takako provided excellent suggestions.
To be fair, I read the Hotel’s web reviews. I noticed that the negative comments were from years ago, before the hotel became an Accor hotel two years ago. I noticed most of the more recent reviews are positive.
A special thank you to all the other warm staff for their excellent and polite hospitality. Having experienced hotels in every continent, this one stands out. The service and attention to detail is in a class of its own. Clearly, this is a special Hotel - undoubtedly, due to the hotel’s leadership.
Finally, a heartfelt thank you to the General Manager, Mr Ted Kitahara, and his management team. Mr Ted introduced himself to me by chance. He made me feel very welcome, and was most kind to enlighten me about the hotel’s design and its interesting history. I hope to meet the Japanese architect one day!
Overall, an extremely pleasant and first-class experience. I look forward to visiting again.

GGuest UserThe hotel was excellent! The room was spacious, the view was great, and everything felt brand new. The staff provided exceptional service too. We dropped off our luggage early before heading out, and when we returned to check in that evening, a staff member escorted us all the way from the ground floor to the 9th-floor lobby. Our room was already assigned when we gave our name, and our luggage was already waiting for us inside. The breakfast was also absolutely fantastic – delicious and fresh, especially the sashimi rice bowl. My 6-year-old son even got a complimentary breakfast. We also dined at their French restaurant for dinner. For three people, we ordered two full courses and a children's set meal, which only came out to 1500 RMB. The best part was that each dish was paired with a different wine, offering incredible value for money. This hotel truly offers a luxurious experience; I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit!

The hotel is close to Nakajima Park and a nearby pedestrian street, and the subway station is just a few hundred meters away. The breakfast selection is rich, and there's a convenience store downstairs. Very good!

GGE90junThe Fairfield by Marriott Sapporo offers excellent value for money. The decor is simple and in a Japanese style, and the room was, as expected, very tidy and clean. While it's a bit of a walk from the subway station, which might be inconvenient on a snowy day, overall it's a good choice!

AAnonymous UserI stayed at this hotel for all three nights in Sapporo. The first night was just a layover, and I was in a long room next to the elevator, which was quite small. I couldn't fully open my luggage, which was a bit inconvenient. The hotel is conveniently located near Sapporo JR Station, a short walk of less than 10 minutes through Tokyu Department Store after exiting the JR station. There's a convenience store right downstairs where you can pay with Suica, WeChat Pay, or Alipay. There are two restaurants for breakfast: a Japanese one on B1 and a Western one on the 2nd floor. While the variety isn't huge, the quality is good. The fruits, roasted broccoli, and roasted carrots🥕 were our favorites. The rooms aren't large, but our king room for the last two nights was on the 19th floor with a great view. The bathroom was quite spacious. We had to move the small coffee table slightly to open our two 30-inch suitcases.

NNikandaoRaelemaThis was the biggest room we stayed in during our Hokkaido trip. The interior has a charming retro feel, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. From the window, we enjoyed breathtaking 'blue hour' views. Right downstairs, there's a bus stop that takes you to most of Sapporo's popular attractions. The view outside the hotel, especially with the snow, was unexpectedly beautiful. Plus, there's a large Lawson convenience store right across the street, which was super convenient for late-night snacks or breakfast. The front desk staff were also very welcoming and even gave us tips on fun activities for the Snow Festival.

LLetittogoRight around the corner from Metro Exit 4. When you walk in, you might think it's a bar, but it's actually the front desk. Check-in and check-out are self-service. There were four or five staff members behind the bar, chatting non-stop. They didn't bother to assist or guide guests checking in. The room was very clean and well-arranged, with a sofa. It was missing a luggage rack, but the window insulation was excellent. There's a rooftop bathhouse with outdoor hot tubs, and a beautiful cherry blossom tree in full bloom.

The room was so cozy and the bed was comfy, I had a good sleep there

GGuest UserI had to go to a conference, but I wanted to make some fun memories for my kids, so I stayed here with them, as it has a pool. The breakfast buffet was delicious. Two of the water slides were closed, so it seems they're only open every day on weekends this month. Even without them, we were able to play in the pool until 9:00 PM and then relax in the hot springs.
