"Not far from the train station, it's very convenient to walk. The hotel has just been renovated and is very clean. The front desk staff are enthusiastic and professional. The hotel has an overall Japanese style, and you need to store your shoes on the first floor when you enter. The room is not big but sufficient. Although the bed is only 1.4 meters, the experience was quite good. The bathroom is very clean. There's a hot spring on the top floor and laundry facilities. Through the window, you can admire the train station below and the distant mountains. Japanese breakfast is offered in the morning with a good variety. Free Japanese ramen is served after 9 PM. Satisfied."

"I stayed for one night and honestly, there was nothing to complain about. I was completely satisfied. The room and all other facilities were clean, the staff were lovely, and the check-in process was efficient. It was also convenient that there was no check-out procedure required. I didn't use the bath, so I can't comment on that. Overall, it was a smooth and pleasant stay from start to finish. Thank you! If I ever visit Matsumoto again, I'd definitely consider staying here. "Location: The hotel is situated at the foot of a mountain in Satoyama, a considerable distance from JR Matsumoto Station. However, it offers a unique charm with panoramic views of Matsumoto Castle from the hillside. Transportation: Unless you're driving or taking a taxi, here are your options: 1) The hotel provides a shuttle service to and from JR Station. There are two morning departures at 9 and 10 AM, passing by Matsumoto Castle before heading to JR Station. Return trips are at 4 and 5 PM. The pick-up point is at the temporary parking area to the right of JR Station Matsumoto Castle Exit (not a bus stop). 2) You can take the Meigahara Onsen bus line from the bus terminal downstairs at Alpico Plaza, opposite the temporary parking lot of JR Station, and get off at Fujii Station. You can find the bus schedule on Google Maps. Service: There are English-speaking staff at the front desk, but no Chinese speakers. Simple communication is not an issue. The service was impeccable. Dining: The breakfast is a buffet style with both Japanese and Western options, very extensive and delicious. There are also welcome drinks, including ice cream, juice, coffee, hot tea, and even draft beer! P.S. There are not many dining options near the hotel, so you might want to eat near JR Station before returning to the hotel, or dine at the hotel. I booked one of the few rooms with a private onsen. Soaking in the hot spring while enjoying views of the Northern Alps was incredibly relaxing. The hotel also has a large terrace, perfect for enjoying a drink during the evening 'blue hour' – truly one of life's most comfortable moments."

"By the time we got there by rental car it was quite late, the reception team has been patient and friendly. Suggest to have more illustrated print out for driving to the sightseeing parking lots and more maps to show before heading out. Plus the water machine is not very handy in giving out hot water for tea. Others are perfect in terms of room and environment."

"I stayed after walking for a long time in Kamikochi for the first time in a long time. Since I was 5 months pregnant, I was a little sick by long exercise in addition to being tired and easy to burn. There was no convenience store or pharmacy around, so when I consulted the inn, I gave me a cold pita and it was really helpful. Also, when I consulted with him that I was planning to eat dinner at a nearby shop, but all of them were closed, and when I asked him to have dinner in a hurry, he answered that it was difficult once, but managed to adjust the ingredients and make dinner. I think the meals were well-balanced without being too heavy on meat. The bath is said to come from a hot spring source, but it was so hot that I had to be careful to get into it. However, I think the power of the hot springs is that I was able to stay in light clothes until the morning without getting cold. If the changing room is dark, you will not feel safe, so I think it would be better if it was a little brighter. I think the distance between the staff was just right, but since my luggage was heavy, I wish I had an elevator."

"The hotel is located near Tashiro Pond in Kamikochi, quite far from the bus terminal and Kappa Bridge. It takes about 10 minutes to walk from the Imperial Hotel stop to the hotel. Fortunately, the hotel facilities, room equipment and catering services are all very complete, making people forget to leave. The most unforgettable thing is the view of the Azusagawa River outside the hotel gate. I also really appreciated the comfortable electric massage chair outside the large bath, which helped me relieve the fatigue from the long journey. On the day of check-out, I almost couldn't pre-check my luggage to Kamikochi Bus Terminal due to language and communication problems. Fortunately, the hotel staff immediately took remedial measures and delivered the luggage to the main station before the ideal time, so that I had enough time to walk to Myojin Pond and Myojin Bridge to enjoy the beautiful scenery after checking out. In short, the hotel service level is first-class and worth recommending."
